They locked him up seven years ago. He’s still killing.

Detroit Police put him away a long time ago.Fiery FBI agent Abby Kane is tasked with figuring out how this madman can kill again. When she visits the Doctor behind bars, he swears he’s … behind bars, he swears he’s innocent and not the psychopath everyone thinks he is. Oddly enough, Abby believes him.
To prove the Doctor’s innocence, Abby investigates the case that put him behind bars and discovers evidence of a cover-up. She soon finds herself marked as enemy number one by the city’s power players. Even the executives who are being targeted by the killer want her silenced. The corruption/serial killer story line stretched the boundaries of believability, but otherwise a good read.
Loved it because I live in Detroit and know Corktown. Main character is STRONG, and enjoyed reading the book.
What a page-turner!
I zipped through this book because I could not put it down!
Definitely a great read, with lots of twists and turns.

Hold your attenetion
Great short read.
Action packed page turner, I couldn’t put it down.
I could not put it down, I sat up all night until I finished the book. Great story unexpected ending, did not guess who the stalker or kidnappr was until the end.
Post manufacturing city, shows how crime can move in. Liked it.
Good book that kept me wanting for more
Another amazing book!
I think it was a well written book I’m just not into politics,or the other but one that is would really enjoy this book
Surprising when the people that should be looking after a community are dirty.
This book did not hold my interest.
I only gave this 3* for a couple of reasons. One: I was not prepared for the ‘sexual’ content in this book. It is very ‘twisted’ and ‘sick’. Yes, I’m sure there are people as unhinged as the main characters in this book, but I might not have read if any of the reviews I read mentioned the ‘sexual descriptions’ being a little over the top. (and …
Just OK
It’s okay. Characters studies don’t get very deep, and the mystery is solved from hidden information. The female protagonist is a traditional male fantasy.
I really enjoyed this book. So much so I am currently reading another in the series. I do take issue with the FBI and especially our protagonist who is “super profiler” but continued to miss some key clues. If I find it obvious with little to no (ha ha, try none) profiling experience I would think a Hong Kong triad catching FBI profiler would have …
Didn’t enjoy reading this book. Not much plot – just a lot of graphic sex thoughts with an occasional clue.
DNF

Once the Detroit police find three bodies killed in the same way, they begin considering a serial killer, they call in the FBI. While this book was well written and fast paced, it was difficult for me to accept the …
