Enormous, commanding, and hotter than sin, Copper is the only man Shell has ever wanted. Even as a young teen, when it was impossible and taboo to capture the attention of a grown man, she longed for him. For years, Shell clung to the dream of turning eighteen and finally being noticed by the Hell’s Handlers’ rough and gruff president. But the universe had other plans, and she was forced to make … make a horrible choice. A choice that altered the course of her life forever, sealing her fate and ensuring the dream of being Copper’s ol’ lady would never materialize.
Sixteen years his junior. Daughter of his MC’s former president. Single mother whose deadbeat sperm donor doesn’t provide an ounce of support. Loved as a younger sister by every man in the club. The list of reasons goes on for Copper to stay away from Shell. Problem is, he’s been hot for her for years. Copper finally gets some relief when she moves out of Tennessee, but once she’s back, all those reasons to keep his distance grow weaker by the day.
Unable to fight against his own judgment any longer, Copper finally claims Shell for his own. But once again the universe steps in, revealing secrets with the power to destroy them both.
Shell will do anything for Copper, even tear out her own heart and confront the most agonizing parts of her past. But will she be too late to save her dream? Will she be too late to save Copper?

Michelle “Shell” Ward has first hand knowledge how the Hell’s Handlers extract justice. Aiden “Copper” Gallagher seems to be the king of his domain. It was interesting to see how relationships can change. Shell grew up in the MC lifestyle and knew how tough these men can be. But she gives us a peek into the softer side, if you can call it that, of a man known to everyone as Copper.
Make no mistake; he also has another side that she brings out as well. That side has plenty of heat and may cause your reader to get a little warm. This book is not all about a relationship that they’re trying to build. Shell seems to be on edge for quite a bit of this story – as if she’s waiting for a shoe to drop. She has a daughter to think about. We don’t get to see that little one very often but when she appears you can’t help but smile. Someone else that appears is Copper’s brother – he gave me the shivers and not in a good way.
If you’ve not read this series before, you will be happy to know that the book can be read as a standalone. I’ve been following the series but sad to say that I hadn’t checked in on the author in a while. So it was a surprise when I found out that I missed book three. Having seen Jigsaw here reminds me that I luckily only have his story to catch up on. This series shows that there’s both good and bad things that go on for this group of men. The good things are their women and their family. The bad things are both outside forces and what’ just normal MC business. Those ups and downs, twists and turns, are what kept me turning the page. Hardest thing I had to do was remember to blink. I enjoyed the ending but my eyebrows came down because I can’t tell if we can expect a book five. I see there’s a boxed set so maybe that’s a good thing? Well, at least that gives me time to read Jigsaw and then maybe I’ll remember to keep an eye to see if any more Hell’s Handlers will be coming my way.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
WOW WOW WOW… what a exciting, gripping storyline Copper is. Through the first 3 books of the series we have watch the underlying spark between Shell and Copper, the prez of the Hell’s Handlers MC. Shell, a club princess, has had a crush on Copper since she was a young teen. He’s always been her knight and shining armor and the star in her dreams as she grew older. Copper has always had a thing for Shell. As a kid when her father was killed right before her eyes, Copper was there for her and always looked after her as if she was his little sister. As Shell turned into a young woman, Copper’s feeling morphed into stronger feeling but stayed away due to the 16 year age difference and honoring her father’s dying wish, to make sure she doesn’t become an club ol’ lady.
Shell has returned to her home and the Hell’s Handlers, after 5 years. She now has a daughter, Beth. Shell’s love for Copper never diminished, nor his for her; they both just refuse to act on it, both for their own reasons. Things are not all rosy in Shell’s life. She has come home with several secrets, including her money troubles, the father of her child and the things she’s done for the sake of Copper and the club. Secrets that could tear Copper and the Hell’s Handlers world apart if they come out. Will Copper and Shell’s feelings for each other ever surface? Will the Copper, Shell and the Club be able to withstand the devastation that is heading their way?
Ms. Atlas has done an outstanding job with Copper and Shell’s story. A story I have been waiting on since the series started and Ms. Atlas did not disappointment me with Copper’s story. The storyline is captivating, will pull on your heartstrings and hold you in it’s grasp until the very end. It’s full of action, romance, moments of aghast and so much more. I can’t recommend Copper and the entire Hell’s Handlers MC series enough. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for a phenomenal read and amazing series.
Gotta love those MC boys!!
