Can a cupcake café owner find true love with Mr. Hot Holt Barbecue?

Things heat up hotter than a Texas summer when Holt Collins, a BBQ guru, comes to Blossom, Texas, and sets eyes on cafe owner, Kayla Burton. Both Holt and Kayla are a bit damaged, but together they help each other overcome the hurt of their past. Holt recently got dumped by his fiancé and Kayla worries about getting her heart broken again as her last relationship didn’t end so well. As they work together through the Labor Day festivities and their friends’ wedding they begin fall in love.
The author told this story in a way that I felt I was transported to Blossom with all of its small town charm and friendly people. The descriptions and details of this story really made it come to life. I can’t wait to read the next installment in the Brides of Blossom, Texas series.
Wedding bells are ringing as Holt Collins and Kayla Burton have to cross paths again as joint caterers for their mutual friends’ wedding. They did not exactly get along the last time they were thrown together but there are sparks that cannot be ignored, sparks just waiting to ignite into a fire of love.

Good read
Typical romance, liked the characters, but not enough to purchase the rest in series.
This is one of those books I personally wanted to love but didn’t. It’s about a couple who are both recovering from breakups, work in the food industry and seemed to rub each other wrong at the start. From there they slowing develop a friendship/relationship of a sorts. Holt seems to quickly overcoming his prior relationship and Kayla so wishy washy about being with Holt. For me I didn’t see the chemistry or connection between them. I actually felt more heat between the brief glimpses of Mona and Ryne’s characters. Some may love this book for me it’s just okay.
