This story is a little more interesting as Sabrina and David try to solve the 11yr old murder of Sabrina’s sister.
Where is Jessica?
Even after eleven years, Sabrina has still not given up on the search for her missing sister. A new case may finally provide the resolution.
With the many cases that Sabrina and David have solved, the reason that led Sabrina to investigate murders sometimes fades into the background. I liked that this book revisited her sister’s case back. This is a good cozy series and each book is better than the one before.
Old mystery finally explored. Heartrending. Beautifully done. Loved it!
The one thing the Daley family has been praying 11 years for happens. Answers to What happened to Jessica? I won’t go into a lot of detail (I don’t want to spoil it for anyone) but this book is so worth the effort to read.
cozy-mystery, amateur-sleuth, women-sleuths, law-enforcement
I love cozy mysteries because the amateur sleuth can be a real investigator without hindrance or condemnation by professional law enforcement. That’s how you can tell that it’s fiction. And in this case, the eleven year old cold case gets solved without anyone else getting killed. The due diligence is done and documented now that the remains of the missing sister have been found and Sabrina and her family have the first answer. Lots of twists and red herrings, complete with suspense, in a good plot that nails the killer by the end.
Once again, Lisa Beacom gives a fine narration.
After more than fifteen month without problems in Treasure Cove something very big is going to happen. When they found an skeleton in a new site construction, Sabrina’s world will experience a earthquake. But, with David’s help and support, she will face a new future. The audiobook is just great.
Book 5 in the Daley Buzz Mystery. I liked this book but I really missed the interaction with her dog Snickerdoodle he is mentioned a few time but not really a part of the story. I did think that the interaction between Sabrina and her boyfriend was much more real in this book. I love that the characters are growing and we are getting to know them more with each book. I was happy to see that the murder of Sabrina’s sister Jessica is going to be put to rest. Lisa Beacon once again does a great job of narrating this audio book. I was gifted this book with the understanding that I would leave an honest review.
A BITTERSWEET MYSTERY! How can a cozy mystery make you cry? This story was very bittersweet and Ms. Potts’ words brought me to tears. Sabrina and David’s love is strong and enduring. The support he gives her in this journey allows her to solve this case and find the peace that she has sought for 11 years. They are truly perfect for each other. In the end, solving this mystery allows her to say goodbye.
Sabrina and David are at it again, solving a cold case of Sabrina’s sister Jessica’s murder. This book brings closure to Sabrina and her family and it is long overdue. Story was very interesting and the suspects were multiplying by the minute. Recommend this series as it is fun and does not contain gore and is a wholesome story worth reading. This is a good series.
