I never wanted to be good. Not until I met her.Five years in prison was supposed to reform me, but it didn’t teach me sht.I tried to start fresh: new name, new town, new life. No more raising hell, no more women whose names I don’t bother learning, no more running from the law.Yeah, I fcked that up in no time at all, but it doesn’t matter. I’ve never liked anything but trouble – and Luna is … never liked anything but trouble – and Luna is trouble with a capital T.
She’s smart as a whip, headstrong, f*cking gorgeous… and a cop.
I know I can’t have her. She’ll see through my lies in seconds. She deserves a happy ending I know I can’t give her.
Hell, with the demons from my past chasing me down, I can’t even keep her safe.
All I can give Luna is trouble, and I know it. But I can’t stay away.
I don’t mind being a little bad.
I date nice men. If I keep saying it, it’ll be true, right?
That means I don’t date the sexy, rakish, tattoo-covered mechanic who’s got one dimple and a lifetime of working with his hands. I don’t need a man who lies to the police, obviously has problems with authority… and who growls filthy things into my ear when we’re alone.
It doesn’t matter if one glance from Stone makes me want to tear my clothes off, I don’t fantasize about someone who’s a suspect in a double arson.
Even if the way he calls me detective turns me into a puddle.
I can spot trouble from a mile away, and trouble’s the last thing I need.
…right?
NOTE: this is a second edition re-release of Convict! It’s a full-length, 90,000-word novel with a happily-ever-after ending. This extra-special edition also includes Loaded and Torch for a super limited time, which means Convict ends at around 35% – so please don’t be surprised!

Roxie Noir delivers three hot as hell bad boys and the women who capture their hearts. The action is non-stop and the passion will melt you into a puddle.
I’m so pleasantly surprised by this book! I’ve never read Roxie Noir before and I had no idea what her writing would be like when I started this book. I’ve read so many subpar bad boy romance books that my expectations weren’t all that high. This is definately one of the best that I’ve read. I hate reading a book that sounds like a teenager wrote it and I am so happy to report that the writing was mature. The characters were likeable. I can honestly say neither MC’s got on my nerves. I enjoyed their banter. They had great chemistry. Good action scenes towards the end. This book was funny and I wasn’t expecting to get such a kick out of it. I even loved the h’s family involvement. The way she interacted with her brothers was funny, her dad was funny. For such small roles, I really enjoyed them. I can’t say that there was anything I didn’t like.
Luna and Stone prove that opposites attract in the best ways in their spine tingling steamy HEA! Luna is a hardworking no nonsense detective trying to prove that the Tortuga PD made the right call in promoting her. When she and her partner get a call about a local vandalism case she is determined to crack the case come heck or high water. The scene is about what you would expect – graffiti, broken glass, and general mayhem but one thing takes her by surprise the mechanic for the yard is none other than super mega hot surfer dude she has been crushing on for weeks! Luna has never been what you would call smooth and Stone is probably into girls that know how to apply eyeliner and wear skirts. Also for some strange reason her spidey sense is tingling about Stone and she cannot put her finger on as to why… Stone is trying to be chill(hence the surfing), he is trying to upstanding(decent job and all around less bad decisions), and he is trying to keep his head down(and in some ways less drama is not such a bad thing). The one thing he is not really is Stone Williams… the major CF that lead to him ending up becoming Stone Williams could be a major motion picture and now he finds himself in a house filled with boxes he has no desire to unpack and this restless feeling he can’t shake. When he shows up for work and the place is tagged with a symbol that he has seen used by the very people he is hiding from he knows they are rattling the trees to see if he’ll shake out so he just needs to continue to lay low… this would be a easier said than done if Detective Luna Rivers wasn’t on the case and completely infiltrating his mind. She is gorgeous and brilliant and isn’t accepting his lame duck excuses. He wants so bad to just tell her about himself but not only is that way against protocol but he wasn’t really the greatest example of a virtuous man and Luna deserves just that. As they fall deeper it’s harder to ignore the chemistry they throw off in spades but will Stone’s past stay buried or will it come back oh so spectacularly to haunt him?
