For Dean Holmes, being in control is vital to his survival. He loves the feeling of power when he’s in control. Power is good, but power without control is nothing. His control rules his life with an iron fist, and that fist never lets up, not for anything or anyone, not even in the bedroom. He’s vowed to never get emotionally involved, whether it’s business or pleasure. He hasn’t reckoned on the … on the temptations that fate sometimes throws in one’s path. In Dean’s case, temptation comes in the form of Robyn Blackman. When she walks into his office to discuss a deal, her impact on him is so powerful he feels his equilibrium shift. Now he finds himself spiraling out of control with a need that defies explanation, and he suddenly finds himself out of control.
Robyn Blackman slowly, but surely, weaves her spell on Dean, even while she fights her attraction to him. If she wins, his very identity will be destroyed and his greatest fear will be realized, but he has to give up control if he wants to gain her love… Can he go against the very fabric of his being? He has to decide quickly before Robyn is out of his reach.
Dean fights tooth and nail to maintain control. He can’t do it… He won’t, no matter how tempting. He will not give up his control… He will never belong to her… He will not allow himself to be controlled by love.

Controlled By Love Kindle Edition
by Ju Ephraime (Author)
This book is a fabulous read and it could almost be considered magical realism; the loving aspects are woven in so subtly. The main focus of this book is on their mutual controlled, the who really can control the other, the background and connection to each character. Ju Ephraime has purposely kept things vague in this book, but she does provide a lot of excitement and drama in every page. Everything necessary is explained very well. As with all of Ju Ephraim’s books, her writing is paced just right and the sexy times are beautifully descriptive. She makes it so exciting and easy for the reader to becomes completely immersed in the Dean and Robyn story. Dean Holmes is deliciously awesome while still trying to control every part of his life this means he plays his cards close to his chest. Dean isn’t really like any other male character Ju Ephraime has written about before. He obsession about being in control is vital to his survival. The feeling of power is what he loves and when he’s in control he feels Powerful and it’s good, but he feels power without control is nothing. Dean’s control rules his life with an iron fist and he always in control for his best interest, unable to form or even fake physical contact, and untrustworthy at times because of his control. But once he meets Robyn Blackman, the story begins to take off and we see that there is a lot about her that Dean is instantly attracted too. Robyn finds herself ready to climb his body it’s a reaction that she has never experienced. Naturally, I thought that Olivia made a great heroine; Ju Ephraime writes some of the most best strong women characters I have read. Robyn comes off as a very confident woman in the beginning, but she soon proves her strength, determination and hardworking attitude. She comes by this naturally and puts it to good use by applying for a job. I enjoyed the instant combustible aspect of Dean and Robyn’s sexual chemistry. It added a completely unique twist to Dean’s character and I am very interested to see how he handles his control with Robyn character. Throughout the book, I could see he is never 100% in control around Robyn that he is actually falling in love, instead of just taking advantage of Robyn and the situation. His character growth by the end of the book was subtle and believable and I look forward to a future partnership between him and Robyn. It’s so unbelievable easy how the reader can be pull into another great story by Ju Ephraime and you should strapped yourself in for a very emotional ride. OMG I just had a awesome thought I have read a lot of books that are movies these days. So I can’t help myself because I would love to watch a series that written by Ju Ephraime made into a movie for the big screen I would definitely be the first in line to watch it.I am already committed to reading and enjoying all of the books written by Ju Ephraime; This is a wonderful book for all of Ju Ephraime’s fans even the ones who have read her previous books or for those new to her writing completely.
