A fake ad brings a cowboy to Georgia’s door just in time for all the Quinn family holiday parties, so she hires Logan to be her boyfriend. Nothing can go wrong with this plan…except she might lose her heart to her newly contracted cowboy.Georgia Quinn doesn’t particularly love being one of the dozens of Quinns in Quinn Valley. Her family is just so loud, you know? And she’s certainly not … certainly not looking forward to a holiday season full of family get-togethers when she has to do everything alone after her painful break-up months ago.
When her granny mentions the holidays would be more fun with a boyfriend, Georgia seizes onto the idea and puts out an ad for someone to come fix the barn at the ranch. But what they really need to fix is her heart, and there’s no one more suited for her than carpenter and cowboy Logan Locke.
Logan’s the quiet type, and he hasn’t had a serious relationship in a long time. But he desperately needs the money, and if Georgia needs her barn finished or a date to a party, he doesn’t care as long as he gets paid.
Georgia and Logan pose as the perfect couple, showing her ex that she’s moved on when she hasn’t and his family that he can be serious about something when he never has been before. But how badly will they both crash and burn if they let their feelings become real in a relationship that is anything but?

At this point in time I’m only reading Isaacson’s contribution to this series. When reading this book, I didn’t really feel like I was missing anything. An enjoyable fake relationship romance. I liked getting to see both of their families and I’m looking forward to the next book.
Georgia Quinn’s beautiful love story doesn’t disappoint. Though it’s a perfectly good stand alone story, I really enjoyed reading it as a continuation of the Quinn family romances.
Liz has done it again. Her books are awesome. The story and characters just seem to mesh together. You can just visualize the scenes in your mind as you read.
Georgia had broken with her boyfriend months before the holidays. He was a cheater and she finally realized it and knew nothing was to become of it after 4 years. Someone told her the holidays would be better if she had a boyfriend. With no prospects, she ran an ad for someone to help her finish her barn. After all, she could not just advertise for a pretend boyfriend, could she? Not is the small town of Quinn Valley where most everyone was kin.
Logan is in need of work to save money to buy a ranch of his own, so he applies. When Georgia tells him her real reason for the ad he is stunned and thinking she was a little crazy. But, he decides to give it a whirl.
They have their ups and downs but in the end, it all works out.
I highly recommend this book.
Georgia needs a boyfriend to survive her family’s traditions. Logan reacts to an ad for finishing a barn renovation but discovers the real ‘job’ is to become her boyfriend for a couple of months. They can get along very well and the fake relationship becomes real until……
Fun main characters and a bunch of family, this was an entertaining story.
This has got to be one of the sweetest, most adorable fake relationship stories I’ve ever read. It’s easy to see the chemistry between Georgia and Logan right off the bat. And it’s that chemistry that’s about to get them into all kinds of trouble. Logan made my heart cry out with how hard he is on himself. Georgia badly wants to be seen and valued for herself, not as just another Quinn. I wasn’t happy with her when she jumps to all the wrong conclusions but, knowing her history, I can’t really blame her either. And since she owns up to her actions, that gives us the cotton candy fluff ending I wanted.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
Georgia and Logan are both good leading characters in Contracted Cowboy. Georgia thinks she is tired of being around her large family with all of their extended family activities. She hires carpenter Logan to be her pretend “boyfriend” around her family. You will enjoy this clean romance in Quinn Valley. I received a complimentary e-book from the author. This is my honest opinion.
I enjoy a good fake boyfriend scenario. I liked the main characters. and liked that the fake relationship didn’t continue endlessly. In other words, not expressing the change in feelings was not the main conflict for the story as fake relationship stories often do. The set up for the main conflict was very obvious as it neared so that was no surprise.
A nice, clean, easy read romance..
I absolutely love everything this author writes! This one is no exception. The characters have good substance and the story line is fun and endearing. With a big family, this story had plenty going on. Hope you enjoy it, too!
This novella is a fun read from the cover to the HEA. Georgia hires Logan to finish the barn and be her fake boyfriend through the holidays. Georgia helps Logan to take action for his dream, and Logan helps Georgia realize something very important about her family. The plot has some twists and turns and moves along at a good pace. I recommend this story for readers of clean/wholesome romance. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion.
Georgia feels pressure to find love/have a date for the holidays – why does family do that? Logan needs the money and isn’t looking for love. Love how sparks fly when they meet and the development of their relationship – believable. Sometimes family does know what they are doing :). I didn’t like the angst but glad they finally talked. UGH. A really sweet romance and one of my favorites.
When Georgia places an ad for someone to help finish construction on her barn, oh–and a short-term boyfriend, she never dreams that she will fall in love. Logan is just looking for a job until he meets Georgia and realizes he does not want to be paid, he just wants to be the boyfriend. Opening up after bad relationships for both of them takes some time and trust. Be sure and get this new sweet, short read from Liz Isaacson.
Liz Isaacson tells Georgia & Logan’s Western Romance story in, “Contracted Cowboy: Quinn Valley Ranch Book 5”. Georgia doesn’t want to go through all the Holiday events in Quinn Valley & with her family, without a Boyfriend. Logan wants to be more than to be a seasonal ranch/farm worker. He also wants a ranch & a family of his own. Both have been burned badly, in their previous romances, so they’re very cautious about a new relationship. How do they meet? What’s their 1st kiss like? Does their relationship lead to love? How do they handle relationship problems? You have to read this Fantastic, Page Turning, novel to get the answers. I Highly Recommend this Story!
