This was an excellent book! I couldn’t put it down. Very intense. I can’t wait to read more from this author!!
This was a very nicely developed story line
This ia the first in a series of about 4-5 books about a female asassian who has come out of retirement after a two year period of mourning the lost of her child at birth.
Sei, the asassian, is a strong well developed character who after learning her daughter is alive goes on the hunt for the person(s) or propagated the child’s death. Bent on revenge, the book forcises on Sei and her journey with unexpected twists and turns. This first book has a clift hanger.
great read, I enjoyed the book
I didn’t think I’d like this book, since I don’t like my heroes to, you know, kill people, but I really liked, Sei. She did have unbelievable skills, but her background helped me to believe her abilities. I did have to suspend disbelief just a bit and let the story take me away…and it did. If I wanted total realism, I guess I’d read true crime stories, but I don’t. I love fiction, where the impossible is possible. This was an extremely intense and suspenseful read, with lots of action. I look forward to reading book 2.
Great for poolside reading.
Quick read but not worth the time. Old story line. Same idea as the JET series by Blake Russell which are far better written and great reads.
I enjoyed the book but was very disappointed when i came to the end and it was a cliff hanger thatif i wanted to find out what happened I had to buy the next book.
Im a senior citizen on a fixed income and get onr check a month Social security, I purchased the second book but cant afford book 3 and 4 so I guess I wont know how Sei made out. Thats really too bad.
Liked it but left us hanging.
story didn’t end, continued in next volume
