Loved this book as I loved all j d robb books. Am trying to collect whole series.conspiracy in death.
I love this series! The characters grow with each book!
What is there to say after, what, 46 books in the series? There’s only one way to feel about the In Death books; they’re all like my family. I feel like I know Eve Dallas and Roarke better than I know my own family. And I like Eve better than most of my own friends. She’s a hard packed, snotty, tough as nails, loyal, sympathetic/empathetic, beautiful and modest police LT who takes every murder personally. She grew up hard, with some terrible abuse, and turned it into a career that has made her a hero. Her husband, who we watched woo her til he married her, then continue to woo her throughout all the years they’ve been together, is drop dead gorgeous (at least in my head!) and all about Eve. No else matters like she does to him. He’s a billionaire rogue who loves being involved in Eve’s investigations. He started life as a thief which only served him well as he used his skills to build an empire, but he’d give it all away if she asked him to (which one day she might!). I do so love those 2. And the secondary characters all have their own incredible personalities as well. Eve’s partner, Delia Peabody, is such a little goofball, yet she’s smart and learning everything she possibly can from Eve. Those are just 3 of the characters that win your hearts when you read these books. Do yourself a favor. Get them all and start at the beginning. May take you years to read, but they are all so very worth it! Not only do I own every one, I’ve bought the old ones again so I could have them on my Kindle to re-read! And the funny thing is, while I love JD Robb’s work, I don’t read Nora Roberts’ books. It’s like 2 different people are writing. Sorry Nora! Love the In Death series!
Like the series a lot
Okay, but not as good as previous J.D. Robb books.
Roberts always delivers a great mystery and witty dialogue in her In Death series.
