VANOThis planet, it’s primitive even by human standards. But it’s mine—including the feisty young queen who’s in way over her head. Because once I see her run out onto the battlefield, about to risk it all for her people, I have to save her. I have to conquer her. I have to own her. She thinks she’s using me, thinks she can strut around and wrap me around her little finger. How wrong she is. … little finger. How wrong she is.
Conquering this planet is just a job for me. Subdue and evacuate the human population. And that includes her, no matter how bad I want to keep her…
BRYN
I’m not sure how I ended up the queen of this isolated planet, but here I am. One problem after another. When I think it can’t get any worse, we’re invaded by huge, savage aliens.
The ship descends and I see him—their leader. He claims me for his own.
I need his help if I want to save my people. But I have nothing to offer him. Nothing to give him that he couldn’t just take.
Except my body. My virginity.
But he wants more. He wants my heart. And that’s something I vowed never to give away. A queen can’t trust anyone, even if he’s my only hope…
This is the first book in the new Zalaryn Conqueror’s Trilogy and can be enjoyed without having read any of my previous books! And as always, HEA guaranteed!

This is another great story from this author, she does know how to write great human/alien romances. The aliens want a planet that humans have taken over, but they meet some unexpected resistance. The 2 main characters have an unexpected pull that neither one was expecting or wanted. The story is exciting and the whole book only takes a couple of hours to read. It’s a fun exciting read though.

I love reading this author’s books. I loved the interaction between Vano and Bryn; their chemistry was hot. I loved how she gave them relatable issues, especially Bryn insecurities. The storyline was wonderful and even the supporting characters were well developed. A great solid entertaining read.

This was an interesting alien romance. It had a different story line then others I’ve read but the characters were all great and I enjoyed the story. It did kind of have a cliffhanger ending but it also set up for the second book.
If you are looking for a passion-filled story about a sizzling attraction between two people who should be foes rather than lovers, well look no further! This book is about Vano, a Zalaryn warrior turned conquered, out on a mission to colonize a new planet for his crumbling world of Zalaryn. As penance for his past actions he is sent on mission (perceived by him to be more of an exile) to a faraway planet Lekyo Prime that is inhabited by humans. Here he meets Bryn, the young Queen Regent, who is brave and defiant. She will take any measure to protect her people and planet from the alien invaders. She devises a plan where she will surrender herself, both her body and title, to negotiate a deal to keep her people on the planet. Little do either know that not only will one of them surrender, but that both will surrender in body and soul. And to add to their insatiable lust, Queen Bryn’s life is in danger and Vano must find the culprit before he loses it all.
This is a captivating read filled with so many emotions and intrigue, keeping you hooked until the very last sentence and then…. reeled in even harder to find out what happens next. I can’t wait for the next installment of this trilogy! I highly recommend reading the previous trilogy Zalaryn Raiders, which starts off with High King Xalax (when he was crown prince) ,who is briefly mentioned in this new trilogy of Zalaryn Conquerors.
I enjoyed reading this book . This book is filled with action and has a good storyline. The interaction and chemistry between the Bryn and Vano on is great. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
