They’ve conquered Earth. She’s next.I’ve lived in hiding since the Vakarrans arrived, helping my band of human survivors evade the aliens who now rule our world with an iron fist. But my luck ran out.Captured by four of their fiercest warriors, I know what comes next. They’ll make an example of me, to show how even the most defiant human can be broken, trained, and mastered.I promise myself that … mastered.
I promise myself that I’ll prove them wrong, that I’ll never yield, even when I’m stripped bare, publicly shamed, and used in the most humiliating way possible.
But my body betrays me.
My will to resist falters as these brutes share me between the four of them and I can’t help but wonder if soon, they will conquer my heart…
Publisher’s Note: Conquered is a stand-alone novel which is the first book in the Vakarran Captives series. It includes spankings, sexual scenes, intense and humiliating punishments, and strong D/s themes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

I didn’t finish this one. Same old same old! Would not recommend it unless you were totally bored.
Steamy
When I chose this book, I was intrigued by the blurb, and I though there was a lot of ways this could go. The protagonist is a strong, female character who values family more than anything. Because of that, it felt a little at odds with how the story developed and how she gave in so quickly to her captors. I also wasn’t expecting the level of humiliation that was in this book regarding the interactions between the characters. Yes, it seemed like the harem genuinely cared for her, but there was a whole lot of give, and not a lot of take in this book with regards to Kira.
Maybe all conquering aliens aren’t all bad. Well, that’s not what Kira Stryke was raised to believe. Then she’s captured and shown that while some aliens can scare you half to death, there just might be a group willing to show her more. Sometimes only they can fulfill your every desire and keep your secrets as their own. And if there is ever a lottery for Vaakarian mates, sign me up!
Whew! This is so steamy that you may not have to call for the fire department as they’ll already be on their way to you from the steam rising above your home. Four hunky aliens with one thing on their minds and it’s all focussed on her, Kira. Not my usual genre but it was a fun, fast paced read with the fan/ac switched on top MAX COOL. Plenty of s@x and if you don’t like reading about BDSM of any kind them I suggest that this is not the book for you. Great characters and those four ‘men’ who want her more than their own lives – how can Kira refuse Brigade. Zaavyr, Jax, Coltan, and Aedan?? Well of course she can’t. This is the first book that I’ve read by Sara Fields but it won’t be the last. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Recommended
Kira is a strong willed woman. Kira refuses to surrender to the Vakarrans. Commanders Zaavyr, Jax, Coltan and Aedan are assigned to bring in Kira. They are to make an example of her. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This tale of four virile hot alien captors and their prey will rocket you through the stars and back. Kira strifed to survive being captured by the Vakkarans but what she didn’t expect was her strange feelings for alien men she considered brutes. Her captors didn’t expect to be enchanted by the fierce rebel human. This is hot seductive read with pleasurable dark elements. A dark ride to tantalize the senses and strong storyline to shake you up High Recommendation
Cool book, with four aliens on one girl. I wouldn’t have thought it could be that much fun 🙂
I am a bit torn with how I feel about this one
I really enjoyed the characters – I do wish however that the author had given us more with regards to their backgrounds, personality traits- just more depth would have made it easier to connect with them
The plot idea was great – though there were some patches that needed a bit more seeding to fully engage me as a reader
I did, however, enjoy that the heroine was strong and formidable but feminine and that the heroes had marshmallow fillings to go with all that chest thumping (They were alphas with heart)
I wish this had been longer and we were given more with regards to the world building and individual characters
Overall it was an okay read but it definitely could have been out of this world ..

Vakarran Captives, Book #1. The Vakarrans have arrived! Fasten your seatbelts! You’ve never seen action like this before!
Ten years ago, the Vakarrans came to Earth. Since then, nothing’s been the same. Earth held 30 billion people then. The privileged were long gone to the luxury of the outer moons and planets of the solar system. Now the Vakarrans rule all. Or do they? In the outermost fringes of once huge metropolises, bands of humans still roam free. The infamous Kira Stryke’s the leader of one such group. Pure hatred for the Vakarrans flows through her veins. She and her sisters, along with their rag-tag band of rebels, have survived for ten long years. But nothing comes without price, and that price is on Kira’s head. The Vakarrans have sent team after team to take Kira. Each has been destroyed. But Kira’s never gone up against the First Brigade. Zaavyr, Jax, Coltan, and Aedan, battle-hardened warriors with decades of experience, have scrutinized and dissected Kira’s every action. When they use Kira’s own strategies against her, capture is inevitable. The Vakarrans have only one use for any female, and Kira’s not about to be turned into some broken, submissive vessel for breeding! But is she truly prepared for what comes next? Physical torture, humiliation, sexual degradation? She won’t be broken by that! But being dragged off Earth to the Vakarran battleship? Escape was her only option but now? Soon Kira realizes she has far bigger worries. Not only is she at the mercy of her four Vakarran captors, but the Vakarran battleship holds far greater horrors than she could have imagined. As Zaavyr, Jax, Coltan, and Aedan formulate their plan to break Kira, hidden machinations and plots swirl around on every level, threatening everyone and everything. As Kira becomes the target, she has no choices left. It’s no longer just her body, her life, her very being, at stake. Now everything she holds dear will vanish in the blink of an eye. There may be a spark, the vaguest glimmer, of hope. But at what cost? Can Kira do what she must to save her most beloved? Can there be a trust she never knew existed? Does she have the strength to submit? Or will the Vakarrans take all, leaving nothing in their wake?
Sara Fields has absolutely outdone herself with this first book in the Vakarran Captives series! In my opinion, Kira is the strongest female character Ms. Fields has created yet, and that’s truly saying something. Kira’s more than just intelligent, strong, and independent. She’s self-sufficient, willful, wily, patient, conniving, and a strategist extraordinaire. She’s as far from a submissive as a woman can be. To the Vakarrans, she’s a legend, the evil incarnate that has to be defeated at any cost. When Kira’s confronted with Zaavyr, Jax, Coltan, and Aedan, she fights in every way she can. The cost to her isn’t just physical pain. The debasement, humiliation, and psychological terror are nearly overwhelming. Yet her perceptions are just that…her perceptions. We all view things through the lenses of our experiences, and Kira’s no different. Zaavyr, Jax, Coltan, and Aedan are absolutely no knights in shining armor come to rescue the lady fair. But are they truly what Kira believes? Conversely, is Kira anything other than what the Vakarrans believe her to be? This book isn’t just a study in contrasts and contradictions. Is it sexy, steamy? Absolutely! Is this a war between perceived good and evil? Without a doubt! But it’s so very much more. These characters contain layers of complexity. Nothing is simple or easy. I never knew from one moment to the next who was going to do what, and that’s what makes this book absolute perfection. Sara Fields is quite simply brilliant! Thank you, Ms. Fields, for a stunning beginning to a new series. I can’t wait for more!
A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language, intense punishment, and dominant/submissive sexual scenes. If you don’t enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and Amazon. Use these resources. DON’T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON’T ENJOY THE BOOK. It’s not fair to the author. She works hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you’ll object to a book’s subject matter before you buy it, you’re doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.
Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
