First read from this author and i was blown away!
Spend the night to finish it, i wonder what goes in this author mind when she wrote it. Cause oh my God…this book is that twisted, mind blowing dark, heart pounding, emotion wrecker and intense page turner.
An MM dark romance, i warn you, if you don’t like the word slave/master, rape, degradation, violance, and believe me when i say this book go darker than all above…then stay clear from this book!
But i must say, i cried when Gabriel finally broke Caleb. I cried for Caleb. For Gabriel betrayel. For the twisted mind Gabriel was trained by his father. For the hope slipping from Caleb. And may sound twisted enough, i cried for their both heart break at the same time in that scene.
Great job, Ms. Katze Snow. Although you push all my hard limit with this book, you have your self a new fan
Conflicted is the perfect title for this storyline. Throughout the book I’m torn how to feel about the characters. The issues faced are so realistic and honest and impeccably written. Each character stands strong in their convictions. Right or wrong? Who decides where to draw the line? The author pulls you in and leaves you wanting more. Fantastically twisted, dark m/m.
‘Conflicted’ is exactly what you will be after reading this totally twisted novel.
It is definitely not for the faint of heart.
I’ve read a lot of dark novels and to say this one will stay with me, is an understatement.
You will become emotianally invested in Calebs torture, but then the author completely blindsides you by making you feel for his captor… that maybe he deserves his redemption and happy ending.
Great writing bt Katze Snow!
And desperately hoping that this is not the end for Caleb and Gabriel.
This is my first book by this author and It won´t be my last. It is a hard book to write a review for because I don’t want to spoil the book.
The title of the book really fits the story. The characters are very conflicted about their actions and feeling. What is real and what isn´t.
This book tries to answer the question can we be conditioned and how far does it go. Can you condition someone to love you. And given a choice what do you choose.
It is an interesting and dark read.
Different, but then again never read a dark mm before this one. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but she’s a great writer. He’s a psycho, but…. no spoilers, you read it for yourself.
Not bad for my first mm, dark or not. I retired it for something new and different than what I’m used to and it was that. Thank you Katze.
This was a pretty good, dark read. I didn’t care for the third person POV but was able to overlook that for the most part. It was definitely open ended leaving room for more at another point in time but not a cliffy.

intense physical and emotional scenes
Adult subject matter
Absolutely twisted, depraved, dark and therefore perfect for me! Read the trigger warnings and if you have hard limits, this probably isn’t for you. However, if you can read it, it’s an amazing dark book.
The character development is phenomenal. I love it when there’s internal dialogue. I want to know what the characters are thinking, how they’re processing events and compare it. Katze Snow skillfully gave me what I need. The author also excelled at world building and painted extremely vivid pictures through words, making the cringe-worthy scenes even better.
The storyline held me hostage and wouldn’t let me go. Katze Snow knew exactly how to elicit strong emotions making the book a must read. I devoured it in one sitting and it left me wanting more. I sincerely hope the author writes more in this world because this story was absolutely intoxicating.
5 stars for a sinfully dark, depraved, emotionally draining and captivating book! Highly recommend to those who can handle it!
