“A hilarious tale . . . hijinks worthy of classic I Love Lucy episodes . . . too good to pass up.”—USA TodayBecky Bloomwood has a fabulous flat in London’s trendiest neighborhood, a troupe of glamorous socialite friends, and a closet brimming with the season’s must-haves. The only trouble is, she can’t actually afford it—not any of it. Her job writing at Successful Saving magazine not only bores … Successful Saving magazine not only bores her to tears, it doesn’t pay much at all. And lately Becky’s been chased by dismal letters from the bank—letters with large red sums she can’t bear to read. She tries cutting back. But none of her efforts succeeds. Her only consolation is to buy herself something . . . just a little something.
Finally a story arises that Becky actually cares about, and her front-page article catalyzes a chain of events that will transform her life—and the lives of those around her—forever.

Praise for Sophie Kinsella and Confessions of a Shopaholic
“Kinsella’s Bloomwood is plucky and funny. . . . You won’t have to shop around to find a more winning protagonist.”—People
“If a crème brûlée could be transmogrified into a book, it would be Confessions of a Shopaholic.”—The Star-Ledger
“A have-your-cake-and-eat-it romp, done with brio and not a syllable of moralizing. . . . Kinsella has a light touch and puckish humor.”—Kirkus Reviews

Read it before the movie came out. Very entertaining.
Shallow
I love this book! It’s definitely a must for anyone who enjoys a little too much retail therapy. She’s funny and quirky and loves to shop. She gets herself into quite the situations and yet gets out again. Such a fun read!
Fun beach read!
Funny and clever!
This was the first Sophie Kinsella book I ever read and it got me hooked on her other books.
The Shopaholic series makes me LOL, especially the audio versions…a wonderful diversion!
Fun read
Seriously a laugh out loud book and series! So many (almost all) romance books claim to be “romantic comedies”, but are not. However, this book is FUNNY and a delight from beginning to end.
Laugh out loud good read!
A little silly for my taste.
Cute, light read with realistic and interesting characters. Easy to read a few pages at a time or settle down and devour the whole thing. Then, move on to others in the Shopaholic series.
Love love love!
Cute story.
Hilarious!! Highly recommend.
Laugh out loud funny
As a very frugal person, the main character’s spending habits drove me nuts at the beginning of the book. However, I liked the romance developing between her and her love interest, and the story had lots of funny parts.
One of my favorite authors! Her books often make me laugh out loud!
This woman was whiny and irritating.
Funniest book
