With over 600 “Five Star” reviews. Let’s face it. Most of us are clueless when it comes to praying. Why is that? And how come we’ve never done anything about it? In Confessions of a Prayer Slacker, author Diane Moody traces her own personal prayer journey with a touch of humor and a healthy dose of transparency. ‘‘I want my readers to stop the merry-go-round of prayerlessness, … stop the merry-go-round of prayerlessness, quit acting like a bunch of spiritual babies, and get serious about this thing called prayer. Without it, we’ll never experience the warm, one-on-one relationship God desires to have with each one of us.’’

This is a great read. The author is honest and she certainly doesn’t pull any punches.
A very spiritually uplifting and thought-provoking read. Author gets right down to the nitty-gritty.
This book would be encouraging for anyone who desires
to grow in their prayer life and draw closer to our heavenly Father The authors style of writing and experiences definitely make the book enjoyable,an added pleasure
I can’t believe how she simply and softly breaks down how one should pray and relate with God. I already have started taking her advice and feel better about my relationship with God.
Written in a conversational tone, practical and doable. Writer is open and witty
Very down to earth and easy to read. Gets the message across without being preachy-teachy.
It has some very good points to help in your prayer path. It was funny at times and serious at other times. If you’re stuff on what or how to pray, this may help. I learned some tips.
I thought this book had some overall good counsel and advice on prayer. However, at the end of the book valuable biblical knowledge is left out regarding how one becomes a true disciple of Jesus(baptism, repentance, counting the cost etc.).
I LOVED this book.
It breathed new life into my stale morning “quiet time.”
Funny, self-deprecating, hopeful, and encouraging.
I picture Jesus in the empty chair at my counter kindly and patiently awaiting my daily arrival and conversation with him.
