Everyone treats Phoenix like the baby of the family. Well, she is, but she’s twenty-two now, so she’d appreciate it if her family stopped acting like she’s a thirteen-year-old who needs a curfew. Wanting to escape her family house, she takes a nanny job never realizing how appealing a single dad could be, until Griffin answers the door.
Phoenix and Griffin were so much more than I expected, which I know sounds stupid and I say it nearly every book. But I have these impressions of who each Bailey sibling is from previous books until I read their book and uncover all their depth.
I really expected Phoenix to be young and self centered and maybe a little naive and ditzy. And maybe the first chapter she was a little bit but she was so much more. And I loved that she fell so hard for maverick but wasn’t trying to fill the role of parent. For me it just made their relationship special and feel really genuine.
Griffin started off a little shallow with his reasoning for leaving LA but then as he opened up to Phoenix I understood him better. And I really loved his commitment to his son. Which he also had towards Phoenix even if he did go about showing it a little backwards.
This series is just continuing to get better and I love watching the family grow and learning more about each of the siblings as individuals. And the more I get the more I can’t wait to see who’s next and who’s pregnant.
I literally can not get enough of this entire series!!!!
I love the writing duo Piper Rayne!
I lurve the Baileys sooooo much.
Each book is equally fantastic.
You don’t get bored..you don’t lose momentum in the series.
This one is Phoenix’s story….I was unsure about hers because she’s been a bit of a brat in the previous books.
Holy Shiitake Mushrooms!
Phoenix, Griffin and Maverick might be my favorite..pretty sure I say that after each one but yo, they are fantastic reads.
Their story is full of heartbreak but healing too.

Would I read more from the authors? Yes
Would I recommend this book? Yes
I love being immersed in the world of Lake Starlight and the Bailey family! The only thing missing was the Buzz Wheel stories, but I have a feeling the author is about to come to light soon!
This is Phoenix’s story, she is the youngest of the Bailey clan and a self-proclaimed black sheep. I love her tough exterior and her sassy attitude. But I also empathize with her fragility and her bucking the trend and becoming something of her own.
Now I know this is Phoenix and Griffin’s story, but it is so much more. I love how each story in this series brings us closer and closer to the whole Bailey clan. The heartbreak and the happiness.
Yes there is a bit of an age gap between Griffin and Phoenix, but come on, it’s not that big of a gap and they fit each other so well. I enjoyed seeing Griffin’s passion for music and his passion for Phoenix come to the forefront of this story. I also wanted to shake him and smack him upside the head for making decisions that were not his alone to make, but all comes through at the end!
Readers, do yourself a favor and get this book and all the books in the Baileys series.
This series, this family makes me fall more in love with them after every book. The unbreakable bond that has formed with these siblings from such a heartbreaking tragedy is incredible! Phoenix is one of the youngest Bailey’s and the one whose dream to make it in L.A. as a singer came to a screeching halt. Griffin Thorne is the famous music producer whose had enough of the L.A. scene and decided to raise his son in Alaska. Phoenix just wants Griffin to hear her sing but what happens when a little white lie backfires? What happens when you fall for the cliche? I loved this book so much….I laughed as usual with Grandma Dori and her antics, empathetic to Phoenix’s vulnerable side, frustrated with Griffin’s cynical side….. the storyline was captivating and left me wanting so much more! If you haven’t started the Bailey’s yet, what are you waiting for?? This is a series I highly recommend!
This is the sixth book in the amazing Bailey Series. I love Single Dad Romance!! Griffin and Phoenix’s story is sweet, and heartwarming. I liked the characters, the push and pull relationship, and the amazing supporting characters. Tim Paige and Tanya Eby did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listening to Secrets of the Operation Bailey Babies, the next book in the Series.
Love this series, and loved seeing Phoenix come into her own!
I listened to the audiobook for Confessions of a Naughty Nanny. Each time I read/listen to a Bailey book, it’s like going to visit old friends. I get invested in the outcomes of their lives. Lol.
In previous books, Phoenix seemed a little shallow, A little selfish and self centered. It turns out that wasn’t who Phoenix was at all. I enjoyed the way her relationship with Griffin developed. I also liked the way she and all the other Bailey’s embraced Mav.
I like the way that each book is written so I get to catch up with what is happening wth other family members. Each book can be read as a standalone so if you read them out of sequence, its fine. I just find that I enjoy them more by reading/listening to them in order.
Griffin and Phoenix had great chemistry. They had a few blips that they managed to overcome. A sweet, sexy romance full of fun, love, loyalty, friendship and family. There is also an epilogue. Yay!!
I listened to the audio book via Hoopla. I thought the narration was on point.
I have become an instant fan of Piper Rayne after I started reading The Baileys series and I’m so excited we get to read Phoenix’s story in Confessions From a Naughty Nanny. We’ve seen her as a bratty teenager with dreams of taking LA by storm and becoming a famous singer but then she came home to Lake Starlight seemingly a changed person. Sure, she still wanted to be a singer considering she kept pestering her brother Denver to introduce her to music producer, Griffin Thorne, but her vulnerability showed more underneath her “no holds barred” attitude she’s always personified. I loved how Phoenix and Griffin got together with her becoming his son’s nanny…she was exactly who Maverick needed in his life because she could totally relate and understand him. Griffin was also the perfect man for Phoenix and they complemented each other well. They had incredible chemistry and I enjoyed the sexual tension and passion between them whenever they were together. I loved that Griffin wanted Phoenix to live out her dreams despite any sacrifice he’d have to make. As always, I love seeing the rest of the Baileys siblings and the love they clearly have for one another. Grandma Dori is a hoot who makes me laugh in every scene she’s in. This was another fantastic book with characters you care about and storytelling that just flowed seamlessly.
Grandma Dori remains the greatest character from this series. I loved how she backed Phoenix for the nanny job knowing this could align her stars for some recognition. Griffin has left the LA life and brought his son to small town Alaska. He has lost his passion for music production, until he hears Phoenix sing…..
Some heartwarming and heartbreaking moments in this story.
Even though I do not like books where there is such a big age gap between the characters, I liked this book a lot, it is nicely written, and you get involved with both characters. The book is nice, funny, easy to read. I really recommend it
I love this series!! I don’t think I can get enough of the Baileys!! They are so welcoming, sweet, and funny! Confessions Of A Naughty Nanny was the 6th book in the Baileys Series. They can all be read as stand-alones but I suggest starting at the beginning!! It was a fun, funny and sexy read!
Phoenix was back home and when opportunity knocked, she took it. Griffin Thorne needed a nanny and she told him she was the most qualified. Little did she know it was all going to come back to bite her…
Griffin was trying to get his life back to normal, moving his son to a small Alaskan town was step one. Step two was to find a nanny. Step three was not to fall in love with her..
When all the lies came out, would it be over or could they work it out?
I loved that Phoenix was redeemed for me. She had not been my favorite Bailey, but hearing her side and watching her grow made me see her in a new light. And Maverick!!! He stole the show! I look forward to seeing what’s next!
The series continues to pull me in. This time around we have Phoenix Bailey’s story. She is the sibling that is determined to make herself in the music industry. Unexpectedly she overhears a nanny job opportunity for music projective Griffin Thorne who recently moves into Lake Starlight. Since her brother won help with his connections this is her ticket to get her foot in the door in hopes that he will discover her.
After taking the job she discovers that her Griffin had left the business. To add the growing connection they had was becoming to much to resist and her heart and career could change everything. Truths are revealed and the plans for more is a risky question that can affect everything.
This employer/nanny forbidden story will have you falling in love for something and someone you least expected and have you looking at a different perspectives on what you want in life.
This book was so much better than I thought and I went in with high expectations. I love this duo and this family. This is Phoenix’s story and it was everything.
This book was beautiful. I loved that you got to really look in each characters true backgrounds and get to see who they have been hiding from the world.
I loved that with each book we get to see more of the family and this one has been a long time coming. Phoenix takes her new role and embodies it. I loved how she integrated into Griffin and Mavericks life and loved even more watching them grow together.
If you are picking his book up hopefully you have read the others in the series. Though it can be read as a standalone. Don’t do that. Read them all. Thank me Later.
I can express how much I love this family and this series. I loved this book because it involved so many of the characters we already know and love and see how the interact with each other. I felt like we got that more in this book then we have in the others. Griffin is such a cool guy and I absolutely love him for Phoenix. I am so excited to continue with this series and cannot wait for Operation Bailey Baby.

Confessions of a Naughty Nanny was the sixth book in the Baileys series by the authors Piper Rayne.
Phoenix Bailey was a twin and one of nine siblings in the small town of Lake Starlight, AK. Her parents died when she was young and she was primarily raised by her two eldest siblings. In previous books, Phoenix had taken off for LA to explore her singing but had come back slightly broken looking for the next opportunity to pursue her artistic dreams.
Griffin Thorne was a successful music producer who moved to Lake Starlight to leave the music industry, find a slower lifestyle and raise his son. First on his list was finding a nanny. Enter Phoenix. Wait? Phoenix as a Nanny?
The authors took us through the push and pull from Griffin and Phoenix. They had so many things to work through. True to the authors, we were graced with the entire Bailey clan, which brought loyalty and humor.
All in all, it was a fast and well written read. We’ve read six sibling stories and have three left. In the meantime, the novella, Operation Bailey Babies, will provide a fun update and serve as a bridge to Juno’s big story, Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmaker.

As per normal with Piper Rayne, and the Baileys, Confessions of a Naughty Nanny (CofNN) leads us a merry chase through Lake Starlight, Alaska, with the black sheep of the Baileys and the family friend who would change everything. CofNN is a delightful romp for Phoenix and Griffin, with an added bonus of an adorable six year old. Both, Phoenix and Griffin are a little lost but when Griff moves to Lake Starlight to reinvent himself, they’ll be reminded of the things worth fighting for.
Phoenix has always felt a little bit like an outsider in her family and the town that loves her family so much. Her dream is to break away and make it big in LA. Landing the gig as big-time music producer Griffin Thorne’s new nanny seems like the perfect way to make her dreams come true. After getting to know Griffin and his son, she realizes her dreams might’ve changed and that there might be something, or someone, more important. Phoenix was perfect for bighearted but mistrustful Griffin and slightly petulant little Maverick. Being the youngest child herself, she identifies with the little guy and their relationship is pretty special. She’s fiesty and has no filter and the two Thorne gentlemen need someone like her in their corner. Griffin is a sweetheart and helped center Phoenix beautifully.
This is a fun, heartfelt and sexy addition to the Bailey series! While you do not need to read the Bailey books in any particular order, your enjoyment will be enhanced by reading the rest of the books about this awesome family!

I say this every time but I seriously love the whole Bailey clan! This series is incredible.
Phoenix has been one of my favorites for awhile now. She was always just herself and followed her heart and dreams. Her no BS attitude was one I loved. She was strong and funny but so loving. But under all of that she was just another young adult that didn’t know where her life was going or how to figure out how to get it to go where she wanted. Til her brothers plane went down with a famous music producer.
Griffin was someone I wasn’t too sure about. He did have big parts in the other books, so I couldn’t get a good read on him lol. So when I saw that he was in Phoenix’s story I was all for it! To get to know who he really was and figure out his story on why he moved to Alaska.
Let’s just say that I loved their story. How they end up meeting and how their story ends, it was all really good!

Confessions of a Naughty Nanny by Piper Rayne was so good. Phoenix and Griffin’s story was filled with humor, family and love. I absolutely had a wonderful time from beginning to the end.
Phoenix and Griffin had amazing chemistry and instant bond. I loved watching these two fall for each other and their love story unfold. There was no denying the chemistry and their mutual attraction. Together they made me laugh, swoon and had a way of melting my heart. I loved seeing their story unfold.
I’m a huge fan of this series and I’ve loved watching the Bailey siblings find their happily ever after and I truly recommend them all.
This book right here makes me wish there was a Netflix series about the Baileys. I just wanted to hear them sing together !! Loved it just like I love all of their books !!
