People are complex.Love a double-edged sword. And when it comes to a broken heart, there are no rules, only time… a reality show that inadvertently saved his life.
But behind the shine of celebrity, behind the easygoing nature, a crippling truth fills Julien with pain and self-loathing. It’s a truth that he fights to overcome daily with the help of his husband, Joel Priestley, and now their boyfriend, Robbie Bianchi.
But unlike Priest, Robbie doesn’t know what he’s helping Julien to fight. He doesn’t know what Julien did all those years ago. And with the anniversary of his sister’s death fast approaching, the time for explanations is running out.
And thus the question: will the princess be able to forgive the prick as the priest once did?
Only time will tell.

I absolutely love these men not only are they hot but they are all special in their own ways. How each book reveals more about each of them is addictive and makes you eager for more. This isn’t a light hearted read, it as heartbreaking in parts, but these men are there for each other. They are simply made for each other and all offer something that just grows in strength all of the time. This is a brilliant series and I am desperate for more. I would highly recommend this series
4.5 Stars!
Confessions: Julien is book 2 in the series and it needs to be read after Confessions: Robbie, and if you’re waiting for the series to be done before picking it up, it hopefully won’t be too long now until we get Priest’s story. *waits (im)patiently*
Julien is the character we knew less about going into the series. We met Robbie in Try and Priest in the PresLocke series and again in the Temptation series. Julien was a bit of a shock, since I, for one, couldn’t have figured Priest would end up being married. Especially not with the way sparks flew every time he and Robbie were anywhere near, at least. As I mentioned in my review for Robbie, I was wary because menage can be tricky for me and adding a third person when there’s a marriage, is even trickier. However, now after reading book 2, I can safely say Robbie is just perfect for both Julien and Priest and I am 100% on board.
But I digress, back to Julien, while he was dubbed as “The Prick”, we finally saw the reason why that was. It was sad and I could see why he felt guilty about it, finding it difficult to get over it until Robbie helped him see it in some other way. My heart broke at Julien’s pain and the way his parents’ pushed him away from their lives.
Robbie was fabulous, as always. I loved that we’re seeing that he’s more than just that, though. He’s deeper and more caring than I anticipated and while there was a moment in which I wanted to shake some sense into him, I have faith he’d have the chance to make up for the way he reacted. Although, really, in retrospect, his reaction was understandable.
And Priest, well, he remains my favorite and I’m very intrigued, especially with what we learned of his past in this installment. I have the feeling that his story will be the hardest to read.
The chemistry between them is undeniable and scorching and I loved how well they fit together. Fair warning, there’s a scene after the halfway mark after which you might need a cold shower. Because, damn!
Overall, Confessions: Julien was an emotional, sexy, angsty and fun read. I am loving this journey Ella Frank is taking us on and can’t wait to read more!

First you need to read Robbie… if you already did and thought it was amazing… just you wait!! Julien was even better. Holy hotness these books get better and better. I won’t give anything away, but rest assured the sex is hot, the three men are fantastic in and out of bed, and my love for Priest is bigger than ever. We see things from Julien’s past and why he is the way he is, it’s heartbreaking. The book was so good I kept putting it down trying to make it last as long as possible. I’d only manage ten minutes before I picked it back up again. Ugh, it is so good. The next book can’t get here soon enough. I hate to say it, these boys are giving Logan and Tate a run for the money as best couple!

This is such a fabulous series. If Robbie’s story added a little bit of glitter and a whole lot of colour to Priest and Julien’s life, Julien’s book brings the triad back down to earth as the temperamental chef attempts make peace with his past.
The sex between these three just gets hotter in this second book. The scenes between the three men are creative and crazy sexy. The series straddles the romance/erotica line perfectly. The emotional intimacy between wonderfully developed characters makes the sex both meaningful and seriously hot.
I love how this story plays with the roles assumed by the three men in Robbie’s book. When the lawyer and the celebrity chef are shaken by events in their personal lives, we get to see the pretty bartender’s strength and intuitive empathy. This is a darker story than the first one. Julien is tormented by his past and Priest and Robbie struggle to support him. Throughout this book we also learn more about Priest’s issues and I suspect that his book might get even heavier before things get better for the three men.
I love Julien, Priest, and Robbie. This is a fabulous guilty pleasure series. Julien’s book grabbed me by my emotions and thrashed me around until I was all hot and bothered. I can’t wait for Priest’s book!

This is the second book in the series and you absolutely have to read Robbie first, even better read the Temptations series beforehand. So much goodness awaits you!
We left Confessions #1 knowing that Julien had some dark secrets which need to be told; Priest had just received bad news… but Robbie had agreed to move in and give their new relationship a chance. We pick up from there and so the confessions continue. Whilst they are mostly from Julien, actually Priest’s secret is revealed to the reader too, and promises that Confessions book 3 will be extremely interesting too.
I love how this book charts the progress of this beautiful trio as they learn to live with each other and get ever closer. There is a delicious eroticism to the story, of that there is no doubt, after all the chemistry between these three men is off the scale. There is also, however, a recognition of the everyday; the little things which might trip up such a new relationship, one where Robbie is the newbie, and has to learn the way that life flows. I think he shows himself to be the man that we have come to know, optimistic, loving, passionate, and caring. His care for Julien is beyond compare, and Priest has no trouble recognising or accepting this.
I highly recommend this series to you. The writing style is easy and pleasing, there is a satisfying underlying plot, and the fledgling romance is growing deep and true. I cannot wait for Priest’s book to come out.

Julien is the second installment in the Confessions series. I would recommend reading this series in the order that the author intended to understand fully.
Julien starts off where Robbie’s book left off. Robbie has just made his declaration to be theirs and is moving in. Priest and Julien will do everything in their power to make Robbie see he’s theirs completely, even expose the secrets they are both hiding in their pasts.
Throughout this book we see how Julien and Priest met, how they were so totally opposite but fell in love hard. The love that they share and now share with Robbie. It definitely is a sweet, got me in the feels read. When Julien confessed his past to Robbie, my heart broke for him.
I didn’t think I could love Robbie anymore but seriously, seeing him with Julien, the love and compassion Robbie felt for him was so sweet to see.
It’s just as pulse racingly sexy as it is emotional as well. Nothing is better than an m/m read, but add in another m in and the chemistry is off the charts!
I love this series so far and I can’t wait for Priest’s book!
