Am I really going to start my review of an Ella Frank m/m romance, one in the Confessions series at that, by saying it’s sweet??? Yes, yes I am! Because Confessions: Bailey is honestly so sweet! I just adored Bailey and Henri, and I loved the conclusion to their story. It was sweet and sexy, and just so heartfelt. And yep, there were definitely a few times my heartstrings really got pulled.
Who would have thought these two men, such complete and total opposites, would be exactly who, and what, the other needed. But boy were they perfect together! I loved being along for their journey- as they opened up to each other, and let love in. It wasn’t a particular easy journey, there were some rough patches along the way, but once Henri and Bailey accepted they both deserved love, there was no turning back.
Sweet I tell you, so freaking sweet!
This series warms my heart. These men and their stories, well they touch a part of us, a part that knows love it love. You can not deny that these men belong together.
This being the second book, well for these two guys, this one dives deeper into who they are. I loved going deeper (that’s what he said) and learning more about them. Even though this one suffers from the same issue Julien’s book did, I did enjoy reading it. These follow up books just need more. They don’t have that hook in the center that makes me go “OMG I can’t put this down” or “OMG I have to finish this story.” There was little to no angst so that made it a bit of a slower read for me.
Despite all of that, I love these men. I love their chemistry, and their love. You need to check them out.
How sweet it is to be loved by you! … Ya’ll I have no clue why (lol) but that damn song lyric kept popping into my head while I was reading this beautiful story! I’m guessing because it quite literally could be the sweetest story by Ella Frank that I have read thus far!
These two were just sexy and sweet ~ a deliciously lick-able combination! 🙂
Bailey is the sixth and FINAL book in the Confessions series by Ella Frank. I have read and have loved every book in this series so I highly recommend reading all the books. However, you only need to read Henri first to be caught up with this couple’s story. I don’t want to spoil anything so I will make it fast.
Bailey is a cop. Henri is a PI. Bailey has always been the “good guy.” While Henri has always been someone who lived on the other side of the tracks. They grew up in completely didn’t ways but have somehow found each other. And now, they need to get to know one another inside and out. They definitely have a connection and the lust is off the charts hot but is that truly enough? Henri is still a mystery to Bailey. One he wants to solve. But, when he does will he walk away?
Henri warned Bailey he wasn’t a good guy. Will Bailey prove him wrong?
Overall…it’s a hot AF, fun, and emotional book. I just love these two together. It’s so opposites attract but it’s more than that.
Aw! I can’t believe this series is over. I am so sad but at the same time I am excited to find out what is up next for Ella and her characters. New and old.
Quotes:
“You don’t have to thank me for any of that. But I am a little concerned that you think I’m normal. We might need to look into that a little closer.”
“Oh, would you look at that. Seems you’re gonna be detained for a little while, Officer Bailey.” Bailey licked along his lower lip as he bucked his hips.
“Now there’s a role reversal.”
“You doubting my manly prowess?”
Once he was on his feet, Bailey winced a little, then chuckled. “Well, considering I can barely walk, I’m thinking no.”
Wow! Bailey is so yummy! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read
Bailey and Henry come full circle and figure out their own happy in this story of two men finding their soul mates. You are going to find yourselves loving them and who they are so much. 5 Stars!!
Bailey by Ella Frank
Book six in the Confession series and it is so so so good …
Another book of Ella Frank that I couldn’t put down ..
Bailey who has hooked up with Henri was surprised that Henri was still there in his home the following morning .
Henri and Bailey have many differences but they are truthful and honest with each other …
They talk , they have wonderful steamy sex , they get to understand what they want and need from each other .
Bailey needs Henri and Henri is there for him.
A beautiful story written with love and it shows….
Oh, be still my heart! Logan Mitchell once laid claim over my whole heart while I was reading the Temptation series, only to end up sharing it with Joel Priestley once I was done with the first four Confessions novels. I should have known if anyone was going to force those two to share space with him, it would be Henri Boudreaux. Don’t get me wrong–I adore these men’s respective life partners, but these extraordinary men were the ones who felt the most in control of their emotions, with walls fortified over the years, so when they finally allowed themselves to be more vulnerable…well, cue the endless le sighs on my end because I went from smitten to swoony in love with these Logan, Priest, and Henri. But of course, they wouldn’t have gotten to that swoon-worthy level of theirs without the men who made them better than they were, and in the case of Henri, well, no one could have suited him better than a by-the-books, sensitive, and all-around good cop in the form of Craig Bailey. Inasmuch as I love Priest, he was always meant for his husbands, just like Henri was meant for Bailey, and these two were so perfect.
LE. SIGH. In the previous book, we already get to see Henri changing into a man who wants to be better for Bailey. In this final Confessions novel, it’s Bailey who has to make certain choices and come to necessary decisions with as far as his relationship with Henri is concerned. I felt for these two because it was always clear how seriously Bailey took his oath as a police officer, but then he went and fell in love with a man who not only toed the line between the law and what was considered criminal, but he outright broke it more than once in the past. So, what will reign supreme: his adherence to protect and serve or his love for this man who’s changed Bailey’s world? I could go super corny and say that Bailey should protect both their hearts and serve the betterment of their relationship, but I’m trying to be more eloquent since there is a certain quiet eloquence and beauty interspersed with the harsher elements of Henri and Bailey’s story. Bottom line and my final Confession: I loved Bailey and give it five-plus stars.
A Seductive, raw, enduring, sexy and a full on discovery of Henri & Bailey’s growing relationship blew my mind away in this book.
Staircases will never look the same for me again!
Author Ella Frank electrifies us with this explosive conclusion to Henri & Bailey’s story.
This book gave me tingles galore.Just wow!
I want to be secluded with these 2 men in my own world and never leave.
Soo much love & trust poured off the pages and made my heart flutter with many emotions.
Be ready to find out if Henri & Bailey confessions of their past and present can withhold their growing relationship they both want.
5 popped!
5 Stars!!!
This is book 6 in the Confessions series and the second with this pairing and you absolutely need to have read Henri’s book first, although it might be even better if you read all the series. You won’t regret it, it’s super hot!
So, I was a bit disappointed because there wasn’t as much Bailey/Henri in the previous book as I would’ve liked, but Ella more than made up for that in this book and let me tell you, it was amazing! Bailey was such a sweet, supportive man, just perfect for Henri, who has gone through so much since he was a little boy. Yes, there’s some angst and there was a moment in which I wanted to kind of yell at Bailey, although his reaction to learning what Henri had done was understandable, but there was also more of the connection and the scorching hot chemistry between Henri and Bailey that I’d been craving to see. Ella Frank writes some of the hottest sex scenes I’ve read (and damn, I swear I won’t be able to see at any staircase in the same way any time soon! *fans self*)
Overall, this was a fantastic read, hot and sexy and angsty, it even made me cry at a point, and it made my Saturday so much better. This is definitely a book I have no trouble recommending, just don’t forget to start with Henri, or even better with Robbie!

Bailey is the continuation of Henri Boudreaux and Craig Bailey’s story and I was so excited to be back with guys who stole my heart in Henri. This book was a quick read but it still packed a mighty punch, it captivated me from the first page and there was no putting down until I had read the last line.
Henri my be the mysterious hot guy who seems to have it all but deep down he is a man craving love, trust and understanding especially from Bailey the man who has stolen his heart.
Bailey a decorated cop is faced with a tough decision when he asks Henri for complete honesty because the truth about Henri’s past may cost him the career he holds dear……
This is a sweet entertaining story about two guys who deserve a HEA, it’s about love, trust, understanding and honesty and I really didn’t want it to end. Perfect conclusion to Henri and Bailey’s love story . Once again this very talented author didn’t disappoint with Confessions book 6.
Once again Ella has delivered tantalizing confessions in the conclusion of Henri and Bailey’s two book story.
Henri and Bailey are an unlikely pair, which I likely mentioned in my review of Henri. When a reformed criminal falls for a hot cop you can only imagine the turmoil that might surface when the two begin to open up to each other.
To complicate matters further Officer Craig Bailey’s brother, Sean, also in law enforcement, has Henri doing some dangerous dirty work.
Priest, Julien, and Robby all make appearances, putting a big sweet cherry on top!
4.5 stars
I have been anxiously awaiting more with these guys. We continue where we left on in Henri’s book, with Henri’s biggest secret haunting him.
I loved these guys. Henri is the mysterious, intense, charismatic man with skeletons in his closet. He can be arrogant, charming, and confident, but there is more to him. His past makes him feel guilt, shame, regret, and has done a number on his self-esteem and self-worth. He feels he is not good enough, but so wants to be. He is used to being the guy that pushes people away or runs, but Bailey keeps drawing him in and makes him want to stay. But he knows that his secrets might be too much for the good cop Bailey to handle. I loved seeing Henri’s vulnerability and deep need to be truly loved.
Bailey is the hot cop that has caught Henri’s eye and seems like his opposite. He is dependable, shy, optimistic, and caring. Lying is a deal-breaker for him. But he also has some baggage and past events have caused him pain. And something in the present will rock his foundation. With him and his brother being police officers, there is always stress and danger. And Henri’s current career has risks too.
They have this intoxicating draw and intense connection, but also real fears and this big shadow hanging over them. With stories of survival sometimes it is hard to determine black, white, or grey. It is complicated for a man who grew up surrounded by criminals to be involved with a man of the law and still be open about all of his secrets and mistakes. And a rule-following man used to a clear wrong or right will be challenged to accept and process.
This is a sexy, emotional, edgy, and messy opposites-attract story about hope, healing, and finding that person. Their relationship is about trust, taking risks, being vulnerable, sharing their deepest pain in order to find a place to feel worthy of love. But it is not easy to believe in themselves, much less feel worthy of the other.
I love getting bits with Priest, Julien, and Robbie. I enjoy this rich and compelling Confessions world and I really do not want to leave it.

Death by swoons.
Henri and Bailey totally did me in.
Not that I wasn’t expecting it considering how potent they were in Henri, but this baby had me grinning like a goof ball from the start and even when things got rough ~ and they did get rough ~ that grin didn’t go away entirely. Though my inner toddler did come out to play with the whole habut face with pouty lip thing going on because there were no more words to read, but I feel that it was justified because I didn’t want say good bye to Henri and Bailey and that choice was taken from me.
*Huff*
So, yes. I fricken ADORED this baby. Henri and Bailey are just such good men as a couple and as individuals. I loved getting to know them as they got to know each other. They truly saw the other for who they were and absolutely enjoyed being together. And the smexy?? OMG the smexy is HAWT! Nuclear level, panty incinerating HAWT. Now things do get a little rough. Stories are told. Secrets are shared, and some of those secrets are quite dark. But I loved how it all worked out in the end.
This is the final book in the Confessions series and I am sad to see it end BUT considering how loosely intertwined the authors books are and the fact that there seemed to be a little something going on with a couple of the secondary characters, so I’m crossing my toes that this isn’t the last time we’ll at least hear from these guys.
Note: This is NOT a stand-alone. Henri MUST be read before diving in. As for the first four books in the series. You don’t have to read them to enjoy Henri and Bailey, BUT I do highly recommend it to fully understand the emotional connection Henri has to Robbie, Julien and Priest.

This cover! It is giving me all the Kelly Slater vibes. Can’t stop looking at his eyes…
Oh yeah, Bailey’s story haha
You will need to have read Confessions: Henri as Bailey starts off the morning after the night before.
I just adore these two. So wrong for each other on paper, but so right for each other, even if they are both fighting their own demons. I think they certainly were MFEO – and made to make my heart skip a beat.
Their story is beautiful, funny, sexy and a little bit heart breaking too. And I must say, I will never look at a set of stairs the same way ever again hahahah.
I just adored everything about this book. I loved seeing snippets of my favourite threesome and my Robbie always makes me smile.
I am hoping there is more to come in the future *cough cough Sean and Zander cough cough*
Thank you Ms Frank for more wonderful, unavailable men for me to adore.
