‘This book will consume you – rip out your heart and piece it back together. I absolutely loved it!’ Paige Toon ‘Hoover will pull heartstrings in this second-chance love story… edgy, sexy’Booklist From the bestselling author of It Ends With Us, a novel about risking everything for love – and finding your heart somewhere between the truth and lies. Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. … lies.
Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there’s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.
For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover that Owen is keeping some major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.
The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can’t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin…

I’ve read every Colleen Hoover book , love them all, because how can I not? But this one is my favourite.
I’m currently in a snow storm in Kansas right now reading this!! And my house could be under and I’d be good!!
this book is just so good you’ll love the characters
4 FATEFUL STARS!!
I’m going to keep this short because the blurb says it all. I loved this book as I suspected I would because it is CoHo. Owen and Auburn were absolutely perfect! There characters were beautifully written, and you could really feel their emotions in the story. However, it was instalove and that bothers me sometimes. Without …
“There are people you meet that you get to know, and then there are people you meet that you already know.”
Gosh, I am struggling with putting together words for this book, and I’m having a difficult time talking about it and not giving anything away! Colleen Hoover never fails to amaze me with her stories, the characters’ connection, everything. …
h: Auburn
H: Owen
(Dual POVs)
I have now read this book three times and I was just consumed by it this time as I was the first two times. This book is so beautifully written and woven together that I seriously cannot put into words what it means to me. If I could give it more than five stars, I would cause I have never read anything like it. The …
This is my 4th Colleen Hoover book and she did not disappoint. If you’ve ever read a Coho book, you know how it starts is never quite how it ends. The moment you think you know what’s happening, Colleen sucker punches you with a twist you didn’t see coming. As was the case with, Confess. The prologue alone sucked me in.
It’s starts pretty tragic, …
Once again blown away by this authors words with a plot twist that literally stopped my heart. A heart that was literally hanging by a thread for most of this book.
Within the first chapter I was sobbing my heart out, reaching for the tissues. Just when I thought life had move one and my emotions were once again in check they take a plummet …
This was an enjoyable read but I can’t necessarily recommend it. I was able to lose myself in it, but the abuse bothered me. It was predictable. If they’d just talked . . .
Confess was a roller-coaster ride of emotion. A real page-turner.
The writing was so much better than most romance novels.
Amazing book. One of the best books i have ever read. I read it in a day and got nothing done around my house but totally worth it.
I don’t know why I waited so long to read this book. I didn’t know what to expect reading this book, but I should have know it would be another favorite of mine that Colleen has written. From the start it was so heartbreaking, that the story and he characters suck you in and I never wanted to stop reading until I see The End. Owen & Auburn …
Don’t ask me how Colleen Hoover does it, but I ended up in tears AGAIN!!!
When Auburn walks into Owen Gentry’s art studio desperately in need of an extra job to get her life on rails, she didn’t expect to feel attracted to him. For the first time in 5 years she feels alive again.
Confusion becomes bigger when Owen seems to be a threat to the one …
I don’t even have the words for how beautiful this story is.
I cried so much by the end!
Part of me wishes Auburn would of found out the truth about Owen and just how much their meeting was “fate”.
Anyone who has a heart and loves a good ugly cry with a HEA needs to read this book
This book handles teenage pregnancy and the topic of consent beautifully. I finished this book yesterday and it kept me up last night thinking about it. This book was positive, creative and will definitely get you all in your feelings.
This was the first Colleen Hoover book I read and it instantly made me a fan! She has a very unique writing style that is rare. I dare say there are few readers that don’t enjoy one of her books.
It’s my first colleen hoover book to read for me and I enjoyed every chapter with all my heart. I really love the paintings pic being there in the middle of the book and it’s beautiful. The story behind every painting and the idea of the inspiration he got was beautiful.
Such a great read from Colleen I loved it
