Truth gets pushed to the side by fanaticism.
If you are interested in the Salem witch trials, this is not a bad book to read, although I have read better books on the subject. It seemed to take forever to read this & the story jumped from the trials to flashbacks of her life story. I wouldn’t consider it to be a page turner & with most books I read them straight through without stopping if they are good.
