Ariel I would like to say we were old lovers. That once upon a time he was my everything, and I was his, but that would be a lie. He may have been mine, but I wasn’t his. I was his sister’s annoying little friend who he didn’t even know was in love with him. Years later, after seeing him again for the first time, nothing has changed. Except now he notices me, and I will do everything in my power … everything in my power to avoid him. Because Falcon is the most conceited man on this planet, and because when he looks at me with steel eyes, my heart still misses a beat.
Falcon
I get what I want, and I’m never denied anything either. It’s my charm. It’s hard to say no to something you never knew you desired until I’m standing in front of you. That’s not just who I am, it’s what I do. I help men achieve everything they have ever wanted.
Most people would go to great lengths to be near me. Yet, my sweet Ariel, I can’t even get her to stay in the same room as me. Maybe it’s because I told her I would be the best lay of her life—that has to be it—and once I’m finished with her, she’s avoiding being disappointed by every other man for the rest of her life.
It couldn’t possibly be anything else, because let’s face it, I’m perfect.
*Can be read as a Standalone*

This was my first TL Smith book and I certainly enjoyed every page. Falcon and Raven’s story was dark and emotional and it had my literally sitting on the edge of my chair for most of this book! Now I am going to have to go back and read the first 2 books in the Crimson Elite Series!! I would certainly recommend this book!!
Conceited Book 3 A Crimson Elite
5 Stars
What an amazing terrific story to add to the series! It is a really hot and steamy romance! I absolutely loved this from the beginning to the very end! It really kept my interest! Full of fun, suspense, angst, sexy, dark, and dirty!
“She loves me but she’s a woman who craves silence.”
I have completely fell in love with this series! I highly recommend!
Conceited by T.L. Smith is book 3 in the Crimson Elite series. Let me start with how wonderfully talented this author is with her stories!
Conceited is everything I was expecting from Falcon’s story! It was so SEXY and smoking HOT! I was captivated from the very first page! These men of The Crimson Elite have stolen my heart!
Falcon and his Raven have so much sexual tension, and chemistry between them. I couldn’t get enough of their story!
I loved this book!!! I’m so excited for Darby’s book next!
Wow this book was hot. Conceited is book # 3 in the Crimson Elite series. I really enjoyed reading Conceited it was enjoyable and one of the best in this series. Conceited is a little bit darker than the ones before it but it does keep you entertained and wanting more. I really enjoy this series a lot the characters and the stories are so much fun to read.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book
This is the third book in the series. Falcon is a manwhore. Falcon and Ariel have amazing chemistry. The plot kept intrigued through out the book. Ariel came back into Falcon’s life as a tornado. She flipped his life upside from manwhore to one women man. I recommend this book
Let’s start off by saying this is a fairly new author for us and we really enjoyed our second read by them .The only thing we disliked is we wish that the author had written and Epilogue. I strongly dislike authors that end books just like this author did as we love seeing a glimpse into the future especially if the romance was a rocky road to get to a happily ever after.Just a personal pet peeve of mine.
We really loved the character’s Ariel/Raven and Falcon (love their names) they were a lot of fun and both of them had vibrant personalities which we love.Falcon the man whore who has women falling at his feet and then you have the feisty Black haired raven who is mouthy as all get out and we loved her sassiness and her spunk as she made us laugh time and time again.
Raven’s character’s was a hoot ! We found her to be strong, successful, smart, independent, caring funny, and one of those women who doesn’t even know her own sex appeal.”We loved her from the very beginning!”
Falcon-We love his name! We found Falcon to be way to cocky for his own good, sexy as sin ,was confident ,had this dangerous aura than surrounds him, is dangerous but, he could also be playful and tease but, not one who gives up the chase quite so easily.
We love the other character’s as well like Darby,Echo,Creed all had different personalities some of them light and funny, others all serious like and others dark and dangerous. We loved Tracey and Chad as they livened things up and were tell it like it is kind of people the perfect friends who will have no problem giving you a kick in the a** when you need it.
grinning…..
The plot was a lot of fun we loved the cat a mouse chase going on between these two Falcon and Raven ,we loved their banter and we even loved Falcon’s cockiness because his antic’s really made us smile throughout the whole story. We loved to that we saw that he had some vulnerability to him and the whole relationship was a new learning platform for him. That saying is true for Falcon “When the Fall they Fall Hard ” because his besties new he was in love even before he did or at-least they suspected it because of his actions and deeds .Raven and Falcon had some major chemistry for sure and just one taste of one another will never be enough but, with these two stubborn and strong willed people will never make falling it love easy but, their journey will gives us tons of laughs and smiles along the way.
Some favorite quotes of ours from this story
“Stop stealing my kisses.” … “Those kisses are being begged to be stolen. So, I’ll keep stealing them each and every time.””
“He told me he wanted me to be his first, last and everything in between.”
“Falcon is like a fine wine, while you have him you have to savor him.”
Overall the story was quite enjoyable and we loved getting to know all the character’s and we can’t wait to read Darby’s,and Creed’s story. This was one fun read that was full of tons of chemistry and had really hot sexual interludes as well as making us laugh out loud time and time again.I really think we are really going to love this series.
We recommend the read to all !
We are looking forward to reading more of this author’s works !
This book was already a highly anticipated read for me because I have loved the Crimson Elite series so far. But this book went above and beyond all expectations it was so good. I found myself sitting down thinking I’d read a few chapters and then get up and do a few things. Then the next thing I know I’m 80 something percent in, feeling like I might start crying at any moment and wanting TL Smith to just fix my hurting heart. And of course she did.
From beginning to end this book was complete perfection and I absolutely loved it. Falcon embodied the title of this book. But in the best way. He definitely went through a transformation in this story but it was so fantastic to read about. And then there was Ariel aka Raven. I was kind of in love with his nickname for her and their names together. I liked her as a character and I liked the two of them together.
This is an absolute must read and I am so excited for the next book.
5 GRAND SLAM STARS!! The Crimson Elite boys keep hitting it out of the park. This is Falcons story and what a hot, sexy as sin and a confident womanizer he is. Falcon and Ariel have one explosive story to tell you and you will be glued from the beginning to the last word. T.L. Smith does her magic words again to hypnotize you with this 5 star book. You definitely need to read this book and series, it is perfection.
This story couldn’t have a better name. Conceited fits Falcon to a tee cause he couldn’t be anymore conceited. He is arrogant and so full of himself that I thought his big head would just float away lol but I loved him no the less. Ariel was sweet but still so wary of Falcon all these later cause rejected her when she was younger but she still after all this time feels a incredible pull towards him that she can’t deny. This is a series but each can be read as a stand-alone and this might be favorite so far cause I enjoyed the banter between the main characters and I love angsty books which this totally was!
I voluntarily reviewed a advanced readers copy of this book
Falcon was, let’s be honest, the ultimate womanizer. All he cared about was bedding as many females as he could without consequence. But, he was also loyal to his friends and their business to a fault. He had no room in his life for anything serious, nor did he want to settle down. Well, that was until Ariel walked back into his line of sight and stirred up memories from when they were younger and she was off limits. But now she’s all grown up and more beautiful than ever.
Ariel was a complete spit fire who refused to fall for Falcon’s relentless advances. I think that’s what I liked most about her. She knew he was trouble and she didn’t want any part of it. But even Ariel had weaknesses and her walls would crumble eventually. She was a strong, independent, career driven character who had plans and followed through on what would get her there. But that meant she was willing to put herself into some dangerous situations that may require help getting out of!
The one component I felt was missing from this story was a deep back story on Falcon. Creed and Echo’s books featured a detailed history full of emotional baggage that helped humanize their characters. They both had huge chips on their shoulders that would only be relieved by the love of the women they deserved. Something about Falcon’s story was lacking. His family was mentioned, his upbringing was decent but he didn’t have that same depth to his character that the other men in the series do. I missed that.
I rated this read 3.5/5 stars because while it wasn’t nearly as captivating as the other books, it still was dramatic and steamy and had elements of unknown and suspense. I cannot wait for Darby’s next!
Wow, another great read in this series. This is one of my favorite author’s, she always has a way of drawing you into the story. She don’t disappoint when she writes and this book is no different.
Yes, another great book by this author.
Reading Conceited made me change my feelings for Creed, the hero from the first book in the series, and although I usually remain faithful, I have to admit that Falcon made me cheat on Creed in a big way.
Never expected to love him so much for all the swooning and determination in getting his own longtime wish accomplished. That wish comes in form of Ariel, his sister’s friend and an acquaintance from his past.
Lots of laughs out loud moments and also a few moments when I wanted to slap him. I shouted out loud at him as well. And God I love Raven more than any other heroine.
Same great writing and a world created by the author that will keep you glued to your Kindle till the end to find out what happens next with these great characters.
It seems that there’s always a book in a series that just doesn’t connect with me.
I love Falcon, I loved him in the other books and I loved him in Conceited. However, I didn’t care for Ariel in anyway. She jumps to conclusions without any explanation. She’s too judgemental for someone like Falcon. It felt like Falcon would give everything to be with her while she was too in her head.
I’m super excited for Darby’s story next!!
When I started reading the 3rd book in the Crimson Elite Series I did not know what to expect when reading about Falcon and who would be the one. Because he is the arrogant one of the boys who thinks he knows what to do. He is good looks and a little dark and mysterious, all of the Elite are. Ariel has a second chance at possible love, problem is the past has left her heartbroken. Nor is she about to give Falcon a second chance. Lucky he has the smooth persuasiveness when he needs to be. I would call them The Perfect Storm.
Conceited (Crimson Elite #3) by T.L Smith Falcon is the playboy of the bunch. He doesn’t sleep with the same woman twice. He loves his job and he loves all the women who he comes across. All that seems to have changed since he ran across his sister’s best friend. Ariel has had a crush on her best friend’s brother since she was a teenager. Now she still has a thing for him but knows he is a manwhore. Ariel aka Raven has always been on Falcon’s radar but she was to young back then. Now Raven is all grown up and Falcon wants a taste of her. He has never worked so hard to get a woman. Heck they usually fall at his feet. This is a cat and mouse story with a twist. Ariel is a reporter and the story she is following can be detrimental not only to Falcon but to her as well. A cute story. This story was not as good as the previous books but I enjoyed the story and catching up with all the other cast of characters . I was worried as to how the author was going to end the story but I was pleasantly surprised. There is one more owner of the club and we got a taste of his story. Really looking forward to Darby’s story. 4 star read for Falcon’s story.
Conceited is book three in the Crimson elite series. The book is Falcon Marseilles story and about his confident, cocky, conceited nature. It’s fun to read about good looking rich men who have to finally work for want they want. Falcon wants someone and it’s beautiful Ariel. I enjoyed reading their story. It was sexy, intense, and witty. The other characters from previous books in this series make appearances and it’s always fun to read. The Crimson Elite men have a huge connection with each other so, to me their scenes are some of my favorite scenes to read. Falcon and Ariel have a journey to take to be able to trust each other. TL Smith gives us her brand of writing which in the end only makes me want more.
I loved this book so much
Suspenseful second chance romance…
Well, it’s fair to say this is a aptly named book because Falcon is an arrogant ass; he believes he’s god’s gift to women and employs a one night only rule with alacrity…and still the women keep coming back and wanting more. That is until Ariel, a young reporter looking for a break, returns unexpectedly into his life, and the tables begin to turn.
The Crimson Elite series is filled with complex characters the central group of men have questionable moral compasses and yet one by one they are being made to re evaluate their world view…it’s not that they change their ways…it’s that the women they fall in love with make them better people… I love each and every one of them…and now it’s Falcon’s opportunity to find his forever, if he can keep her alive that is.
This is a suspenseful second chance romance told from the dual perspective of Falcon and Ariel. I was engaged in this couple’s story from the start…the author has imagined a wonderfully sinful world in Crimson Elite with a group of men who will protect their business and those they love at any cost. I look forward to finding out who will bring Derby, the biggest and baddest of them all, to his knees…I received an advanced copy of this book from the author
Ariel was in love with Falcon when she was younger but he didn’t notice her and broke her heart. Now she’s all grown up and has Falcon’s attention. She’s determined to get a story on the elite that will make her career. Falcon is a sexy, full of himself womanizer that Ariel will put in his place. I liked the banter between these two characters. The full explanation of why things happened the way they did in the past comes out. A steaming, sexy read with lovable characters.
Oh Falcon, I love you, you little manw*ore!!
The third installment of the Crimson Elite series is just as hot and enticing as the first 2 and that cover. I think it’s my favorite!! So hot!!! Falcon loves women, just not enough to settle down. He never calls and never goes back for seconds. He is brutally honest. His job at Crimson Elite keeps him very busy.
Ariel is his sister’s best friend. They’ve known each other since childhood. She has always had a crush on him but after a humiliating rejection, she wants nothing to do with him. Years later, he’s finally noticed her and is determined to get her but she keeps rejecting him. Her anger seems to spur him on more. Then, when her walls are starting to come down, things become a bit too dangerous and in his quest to keep her safe he must reject her again. Will she uncover things better left hidden? Will she survive another rejection from him?
The chemistry between the two is intense. The drama keeps you engrossed to the very end. I enjoyed reading Falcon and Ariel’s story. He is so confident, almost too confident for his own good. It was surprising just how honest he was when Ariel dug in further with her questions, even though that meant certain danger. She’s a strong determined woman. The back and forth between them was hot and amusing at the same time. I’m really enjoying the heck out of this series. I’m anticipating Darby’s story to be just as good. I can’t wait.
