Ariel I would like to say we were old lovers. That once upon a time he was my everything, and I was his, but that would be a lie. He may have been mine, but I wasn’t his. I was his sister’s annoying little friend who he didn’t even know was in love with him. Years later, after seeing him again for the first time, nothing has changed. Except now he notices me, and I will do everything in my power … everything in my power to avoid him. Because Falcon is the most conceited man on this planet, and because when he looks at me with steel eyes, my heart still misses a beat.
Falcon
I get what I want, and I’m never denied anything either. It’s my charm. It’s hard to say no to something you never knew you desired until I’m standing in front of you. That’s not just who I am, it’s what I do. I help men achieve everything they have ever wanted.
Most people would go to great lengths to be near me. Yet, my sweet Ariel, I can’t even get her to stay in the same room as me. Maybe it’s because I told her I would be the best lay of her life—that has to be it—and once I’m finished with her, she’s avoiding being disappointed by every other man for the rest of her life.
It couldn’t possibly be anything else, because let’s face it, I’m perfect.
*Can be read as a Standalone*

Falcon is most definitely my favourite of the Crimson Elite <3<3
I knew I would love Falcon, as I had been seriously intrigued with him in the previous books but TL Smith blew it out of the park with his story. With Falcon's story she has given us a tale of teenage crushes and unrequited love turning into a red hot passion with electric chemistry.
Falcon is part of the Elite sex Club with his 3 friends. They give the perfect mix of sex and darkness.
Falcon is the total manwhore, he enjoys sleeping with many women, he considers it one of his gifts. He never sleeps with women more then once and never makes them any type of promises. His sister's best friend Ariel has always held a soft spot in his heart but she was off limits...…..until now.
Ariel has had a unrequited crush on her best friends brother since she was a teenager. After years of not seeing each other the tension between them is palpable when they meet again. He is hotter then she remembers and the push/pull she feels for him is entertaining to watch play out.
I knew when Falcon fell it would take a special woman and Ariel is that woman. She makes him question everything. She challenges him and keeps him on his toes. Only problem is can Falcon keep her safe from his friends and can he stop her exposing them.
Even though this can be read as a standalone I would recommend you read the other books first so you can experience their back stories and let them draw you in.
Even though Falcon is my favourite I am looking forward to Darby's story. AT present I am not a fan of his but I have a feeling TL Smith may have saved the best for last and will make me fall in love with him. His story is going to be interesting.
This is the third book in this phenomenal series, and is Falcon and Ariel’s turn.
Ariel had a teenage crush on her best friends’ brother, and Falcon who is a cocky, sexy womanizer, was oblivious to her at the time. When Ariel is in pursuit of a story about Crimson Elite, she puts herself in danger, and Falcon is determined to protect her. This is a well written flawless story, which is steamy, fun, entertaining, with witty banter and suspense. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all.
Conceited is the third book in the Crimson Elite Series and can be read as a standalone but as someone else said your reading would be “enhanced” by reading the other books in this series
Yes, Falcon is conceited. He knows who he is and he knows how to use it. He hasn’t ever had to work to get a woman before but Ariel makes him. They have known each other for a while now since Tracey his sister is BFF’s with Ariel.
Ariel doesn’t want to have anything to do with Falcon for an incident that happened when they were younger however, she has been crushing on Falcon for a long time.
T.L. Smith had me laughing at one point and yet this is not a rom-com. It does have a dark side to it.
I highly recommend Crimson Elite Series and I am addicted to this hot, sexy, romantic suspense filled series.
Just in case you want to know this is the reading order and who is the lead character for each book.
Cavalier – Christopher Creed & Elicia Beckham – Creed is the recruiter of women for the Crimson Elite sex club.
Anguished – Echo & Storm – Echo tracks anything and everything there is to find on a person
Conceited – Falcon & Ariel – Falcon gives the stamp of approval for a man to gain entrance to the club
Darby is the main owner of Crimson Elite club and his book is next, Insolent and I can’t wait.
I am anxiously awaiting Insolent, Darby’s story. 4.5 stars for Conceited.
I wasn’t sure I was going to like Falcon’s story, but it was pretty good. Steamy, romantic and fun in a darker romance type of way.
Again I love the dual reading that was done by Ava Erickson and Alexander Cendese, they both did a great job of bringing this story to life.
Oh my goodness, Ariel and Falcon are so good! This is a great enemies to lovers story. Ariel grew up with Falcon, and had a crush on him when they were younger. However, after facing rejection from Falcon, Ariel can’t stand him. Now a journalist, she is looking for her breakthrough story, bringing to light the identity of a super secret elite club. After years of keeping away from Falcon, now Ariel can’t seem to stay away from him, and maybe she doesn’t want to.
Of course Falcon is the most conceited of the Crimson Elite men. He is confident and knows what he is and exactly what he wants. Ariel is head strong, independent, and has crushed on Falcon since she was a teenager. Falcon and Ariel are perfect for one another, their chemistry is palpable, and their connection is undeniable. Their road is not perfect, but it was oh so fun to navigate all their trials and tribulations with them. I enjoyed every single second of this book.
Oh Falcon…
Conceited is the word for Falcon! But I can’t help but love him anyway.
These two were a tornado of emotions together. I loved Ariel for her sass and determination even when she was being stubborn and frustrating! I loved watching Falcon grow up and become a better man, even though he still loves winding the boys up no end. And the steam, I needed a fan!
Love this series so much!
I am so in love with this series! Falcon is well… Falcon. Conceited is the perfect title for his book. I am so glad I found T.L. Smith she has become one of my favorites and a go to author and I can’t wait for what’s next!
I really enjoyed this story. Steamy, angsty, and fun!
A tale of unrequited teenage crushes and then you meet again years later, not a bad feat when he’s one of your brother’s friends!
Ariel is a journalist who is about to break the story of her career!
Falcon needs to prevent this.
He’s cocky, conceited. Doesn’t believe in love. He needs to get her out of his system and out of Crimson Elite business! Can he do it?
I never expected to like Falcon but he has become my favourite!
The men in the Crimson Elite series are very confident
about themselves, but Falcon takes it to a whole new level.
He’s seriously conceited, but I guess he’s that way because
no-one ever says no to him,not until Ariel/Raven.
I really enjoyed Conceited, even though it was a little
dark in certain places, it was also funny at times, hot,
and obviously sexy. Looking forward to the next book
in the series
5 “Stop stealing my kisses” stars to the power of strength of Ariels soul and the fun of measuring the size of Falcons nearly undestoyable universelike ego.
It’s the third book in the series, each one about one of the friends and owners of Crimson Elite Club. The Crimson Elite guys by TL Smith are all very different, unique and each of them in their own genre… And while I already slithered and stumbled in dark alleys and even more dark basements of human being meeting Creed and Echo and got the hots for the bad guys, this book took a challenge to my belly muscles too. I laughed so hard because let’s face it… I would be clueless how to handle Falcon… Never failing to twist every insult to his liking and give retorts to die for…but most of all he was on the top of the game so his falling in love was the deepest fall to witness and the most entertaining. In real life I would just turn around and leave him and move all around the world to avoid dealing with this kinda man. Cocky and full of himself doesn’t even scratch the dirt on his shoes. In a book I adore his way to take my breath and wit and sanity and make me fall in love with the woman who can somehow handle this disaster package of awesomeness. This story was amazeballs and I don’t want the next to be the last… Gimme more!
Conceited is the 3rd book in the Crimson Elite series. Falcon is just as hot as the others, and just as mysterious. I love his smart mouth.
You can read each book on it’s own, but why would you. I’d recommend reading each one, especially Falcon’ s story.
I always love it when a strong alpha comes to his knees and not expecting it and Falcon is not immune. LIly has been in love with her best friends brothers since childhood and is a reporter looking for the next big story. I loved Falcon and his arrogance, his wit, his comments and ultimately his bending at the knee to love. This story was incredibly entertaining and so easy to read and get through.
These boys are a mess when it comes to the ladies they love. Falcon and Ariel story will take you on a roller coaster ride. The feelings between these two is so unreal. You don’t know if you want to love them or hate them. Cannot wait for some more Elite books.
Omg I’m so in love with Mr. Conceited aka Falcon TL gave us a story with humor, banter and heartbreak.
Where do I even start…
Falcon is one of the 4 owners of a very elite club. Falcon is known for recruiting the men who decide to attend this club. His job is to make sure they qualify to be members of his club.
This time he was to interview a very famous man by the name of Tom. He instructed Tom to interact with a random girl but Falcon realized he knew this girl.
Ariel aka Raven didn’t think that she would ever see Falcon again. Not after that night that changed everything. Ariel works for a newspaper and is trying to get a story on Tom. But she gets more than she bargained for when she runs into Falcon.
The events that happened after their first encounter is both comical and heartbreaking. I love the chemistry between this two. Falcon is trying to impress Ariel by being his conceited self. Saying how he will ruin all other man for Ariel. But Ariel is not impress at all. The banter is hilarious. But what happens when her journalist side takes over Ariel? She finds out about a very secretive club and decides she wants to know more. Falcon knows the risks of what Ariel is trying to do. He does everything he can to prevent her from digging for information but there’s only so much he can do. Ariel is very stubborn and knows that a story like this could make her career. Sadly she doesn’t know the consequences of what she’s doing. Can Falcon save her? Can she trust the man who hurt her so bad?
Not only did TL gave us an amazing story but left us wondering about the last member of this club, Darby!!! Can’t wait for the next book!!!!
Another stunner of a book… this series is absolutely blowing me away, every new book brings something a little different but also a new perspective on the men of the Crimson Elite!! This one was no different.. Falcon is the playboy of the group, never sees the same girl more than once. His nemesis seems to be his little sisters best friend Ariel who has been in love with him since high school. The storyline is fun, flirty and dangerous… a fantastic book I cannot wait to see what comes next!!
T.L. Smith did a great job on Conceited, the story was written well and had a great plot with many emotions. Ariel and Falcon were great characters. Ariel has always had a thing for her best friend’s brother, Falcon but he never gave her a second thought until now, years later. When Falcon wants something he stopped at nothing to get it.
I loved the bantering between Falcon and Ariel, these two were made for each other. Their attraction was strong and their chemistry was off the charts sexy. They were great together. I enjoyed Ariel and Falcon’s story.
This was a great story. I’d suggest reading it.
Thank you, T.L. Smith. Great work 🙂
If you enjoy T.L. Smith’s books, be sure to read this one!
OOhh I’m in love with the Crimson Elite men.
I thought Echo was all that, but Falcon. Man T.L. Smith knows how to write men that are hot and ooze of sex.
Ariel and Falcon have this love hate relationship and it’s over the top steamy!
Now I won’t give anything away, but I had a few “didn’t see that coming” moments. Which I loved!!! It kept me reading page after page.
With that I can say I loved Conceited.
Falcon is my favorite in the Crimson Elite Series! Conceited is the perfect title for the story of this cocky playboy who is used to always getting his way, until Ariel. She tries to deny her feelings for her first love from childhood but Falcon eventually breaks through. I love the chemistry and hilarious banter between these two! TL Smith also delivers on her normal bit of angst just to keep you hanging on and not wanting to put the book down. I can’t wait for the next in this series!
