This series is turning out better than I expected, really good!
So this one starts off pretty slow and it took a while to hook me but the ending was really sweet and both charcaters end up being adorable together. This was a mixture of a slow burn and enemies to lovers. Both charcaters had to notice their own faults and learn to leave the past in the past.I liked how Alexander wasn’t the typical non realistic character who are usually in romance novels these days. He was fit and muscular and the most gorgeous person Levi has ever seen. Instead Alexander is your basic nerdy and akward scientist who is pretty much average when it comes to looks but certain things about him attract levi.Things that other people wouldnt notice. It was a really cute story, I just wished there was romance in there. The romance finally took plays in like the last 20 minutes of the book. I wanted to feel more of a connection between the two instead of automatically going from hating eachother to suddenly loving eachother but other than that I found it enjoyable.
Levi was always laughing and joking growing up because he was not happy with his home life. Levi dropped out of school right before graduation. Alexander was always picked on because he wore thick glasses and was really smart. Alexander was asked to give a speech in his home town. Alexander was not happy to be back. Levi says he is sorry to Alexander with a cake. At the Northern Lights celebration Alexander asks Levi to read his speech because he cannot get up in front of everyone that teased him. Levi starts to read it then runs away. Alexander finds Levi later and realizes that Levi can not read. Can these two get past their differences and make it work. Will Alexander stay and work at the new observatory?

Alexander is an astronomer who comes home to Higbee to see the northern lights, When he was in school he was teased by his school mates, especially Levi. He still feels the anger for them. Levi is an electrician now. When he was in school he was Mr. Popular, always happy and joking around. He was hiding how he felt and what was going on in his life. I really enjoyed this book.
This is dramatic, entertaining and amusing. As kids Levi picked on Alexander constantly, because he was smart, had great parents and was a little snobbish. But he thought that he was cute, in a nerdy way. Alexander was snobby towards the kids who picked on him because it was his only way to retaliate. Especially against Levi, who for some reason he was attracted to, despite the horrible way he treated Alexander. It’s ten years later and Alexander comes home to give a speech during the aurora borealis, only to find his parents acting like Levi is a part of the family. The two face off and throw accusations at each other, then later think about what was said. Both feel bad, both still have feelings for the other, but only one thinks that they’re deserving of the other. It’s a beautiful story of love and angst.

I absolutely enjoyed reading this beautiful, emotional MM romance. The plot is well-written and has complex individual characters that go on a emotional journey of discovery as they continue to develop throughout a well-paced story-line.
There is: a man with a difficult past has tried to better himself by becoming an electrician (Levi Lennox), a man haunted by bad memories from the past returns home after 10yrs (Alexander Xenaki), drama, secrets, memories, attractions, jealousy, animosity, verbal conflict, unexpected guilty feelings, a public get-together, humiliation, discovery, apologies, verbal banter, misunderstandings, declarations, happiness, love, steamy scenes & a satisfying happy ending.
Levi and Alexander were great characters, engaging and authentic. I enjoyed the enemies to lovers storyline as they work to let go of past anger and pain to get their happy ending.

alexander has come back to his home town to give a speech and observe the Northern Light. Not too many pleasant memories, he was bullied going thru school for wearing glasses, being over weight and being super smart. Levi is the towns electrician and was very popular while in school and bullied Alexander thru school. As I said, a very unlikely pair.
there were a few scenes that i felt were a little rushed but all in all this is another great addition to the Northern Lights series.

This is a story I had not expected. Levi was the handsome, always smiling jokester. Alexander was the nerd that kept to himself when he was in school. Levi had a rough life when he was younger and took out his anger on Alex by teasing him all through school. Alex became bitter as he grew up and moved out of town to make a good life for himself even though he loved his parents dearly. When Alex comes back to town 10 years later and runs into Levi things are not what he expected. The two of them must decide to patch up the past or forever be enemies.
