The town bad boy with hidden pain… his time on the rodeo circuit, sending home his winnings to help the ranch succeed, and his nights with buckle bunnies, making sure no one gets close enough to touch the pain deep inside.
The town good girl who saw the good in everyone…
When accountant and small business advisor Hailey Spencer is hired by Redemption Ranch to implement their dude ranch ideas, she and Chase are thrown together. It’s not long before he is introduced to the son that she had with his best friend. The best friend who would’ve followed Chase anywhere…even the bull riding circuit with its deadly potential. With Hailey hanging on to resentment and Chase racked with guilt, the two try to fight their age-old attraction – in vain. Chase knows Hailey deserves more than a broken-down cowboy for her son and her heart.
Can Chase resist the call of the rodeo and man up for a woman he’s loved for years or will he leave for the allure of the road?

Chase, a professional bull rider, is back home in Montana recovering from a bull riding injury. Hailey has also returned home to Montana to raise her son. Hailey’s husband Adam, who was also Chase’s best friend, was killed in a bull riding accident leaving Hailey a single mom. This story deals with loss, love and you’ll be crying one minute and laughing the next. Characters that are so easy to fall in love with and a story line that flows really well.

Chase did not have a happy childhood until he ended up on Redemption Ranch and found a home and family. He has gone on and enjoyed a successful career as a bull rider, but a serious injury has him back on the ranch to heal.
Hailey finds herself a widow and single mother. She is determined to be independent and give her son the type of life that he deserves not one governed by rules so she accepts a job working in accounting at the ranch.
Chase and Hailey always had a special place in their hearts for each other, but her husband was his best friend. There is no denying the chemistry and connection between them but is it enough to overcome the past?
Here we have book two in this cowboy-brothers series. This one is just simply said just as good as the first one! I really liked the characters and the storyline is good. So overall really worthy of four stars as I am giving it here.

Injured by a bull, Chase has to take a break from the rodeo to recuperate, delaying his ability to earn enough money to help pay for ranch upgrades. Hailey’s back home to help her parents with her mom’s health problems, and let her young son come to know his grandparents. She’s a CPA, but having trouble finding a good job, and a decent place to live. She finds both at Redemption Ranch when Tara hires her as the guest ranch manager, which includes room and board. She and Chase have a history – she, her now-deceased husband Adam, and Chase were best friends growing up. He feels guilty for being attracted to her, while she has suppressed her feelings for him. This was a beautiful and heartwarming story, and I loved every minute spent reading it. The characters just had amazing chemistry and amusing banter. The three brothers again prove that some of the best families are the ones you choose. I’m looking forward to Ty’s story.

Wow, what a fantastic addition to the Redemption Ranch series. I loved it! A must read. Chase, one of the foster brothers, had been in so many foster homes as a youth that he didn’t think he’d ever have a real home or anyone could ever love him. Hailey,
Chase and Adam grew up together and were best friends. Hailey and Adam married and had a son, A.J. Adam followed Chase on the bull riding circuit, but one disastrous ride left Hailey a widow with a 2 yr old son to raise. She comes back to Granite Falls and gets a job at the ranch but dreads coming face to face with Chase. A well written storyline and wonderful, intriguing and emotional characters. There’s so many emotions in this story. Can’t wait for the next one!

What could be better than a sexy cowboy? Three sexy cowboys!!! The cowboys of Redemption Ranch are back! This is book 2 of the Redemption Ranch series and pertains to Chase, our rodeo star. Chase has gone back to the rodeo circuit to chase his dream of winning the national championship, but even more, to win the large purse to help the Ranch out of financial difficulties. He feels that wandering lust of wanting to see the world, also wants to save his family, but fate has different plans for him in the form of his deceased best friends wife Hailey. Past feelings reignite, along with a whole lot of guilt. Both struggle with their attraction to the other.
Strong story line that does needs a bit of tightening, awesome characters – loved that we got to see West, Tara, Ty and Emma. Engaging dialogue and easy to visualize descriptions of details.
Written as a 3rd person, multi pov with a HFN ending. Can not wait for Ty’s story next!

Sassy Beta Reading and Review

Hailey and Chase were attracted to each other, but she’s his best friend’s widow and she has a young son to think about. Her father was a jerk at first putting her down and offering her a teller position at his bank when she has a CPA. I’m a CPA and work for a bank would have been insulted too. I love that used her business skills to partnered with Tara to help get her guest ranch up and running. Her son A.J. was precocious and a handful. Chase dealt with lot in foster care, so kept running the rodeo circuit afraid to put down roots. It’s scary how dangerous that sport is. There were plenty of sexy scenes in this cowboy romance.
Chase had a rough childhood he was moved around in the foster system so much that he doesn’t believe in love and commitment that is until he ended up with two foster brothers who where taken in by a rancher and his daughter That is how he became part of Redemption Ranch Now he works as a bull rider sending money home to maintain the ranch but after a bull just about kills him he has come home to recuperate. There he reconnects with Hailey she was friends with him growing up her husband was his best friend but now she is a widow and trying to raise her son AJ the best she can and she is working at Redemption Ranch while caring for her ill mother. He is drawn to her but he still has that fear that no one can love him and that she will walk away from him Can she convince him she will be there for him and will AJ melt his heart
This is the 3rd book I’ve read written by Megan Ryder; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

This is a story about a cowboy, a professional bull rider, Chase. It is also about Hailey. She had been married to Adam, their best friend, who died in a bull riding accident, leaving her a single mother. When Chase gets injured by a bull, he comes home to Montana to recuperate. At around the same time, Hailey and her son A.J. return to their home town to be closer to her parents because her mother got ill. I really enjoyed this book. The characters were endearing, and the story line flowed well. I liked that Ms. Ryder made the struggle real. Ms. Ryder is a new, to me, author and I look forward to reading more of her works.

He’s packing around a ton of baggage
Emotional baggage. Chase Summers is a bullrider who just got stamped on by a bull. It’s back home to the Rawlings Ranch to recoup. He enjoys buckle bunnies and a lack of emotional growth. Clinging to his past hurts.
Hailey is a young widow of Chase’s best friend. She choose Adam for safety. Chase was the what if. She’s got a young son, AJ.
Will these two finally take a chance?

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I also purchased a copy (I absolutely ADORED this!)
I couldn’t read this one fast enough but at the same time, I had to re-read certain parts. I was completely enchanted with Chase and Hailey. Chase, is a former foster child, who inherited one quarter of a ranch that became Redemption Ranch. He shares ownership with his two other foster “brothers” and the former owner’s daughter. He is a bull rider and would send money home to help with the expenses of running the ranch. He became severely injured after riding a bull. The bull took exception to the 8 second ride and made a pin cushion of Chase. He comes home to heal before going back out on the road again. Hailey and her 6 year old son, A. J., come back to Granite Junction to help her sick mother. She takes a job with Tara (from the first book in the series) at the ranch. She is afraid to run into Chase as she and her deceased husband, Adam, were best friends with Chase growing up.
The events of Hailey and Chase becoming involved is such a delightful story. Chase has never spent time around children and he has a lot to learn especially with the adorable A. J. The ups and downs of their journey is one that shouldn’t be missed.
I adored seeing West and Tara from the first book, along with Ty (the third foster brother) and Emma the waitress and Cam a local rancher. I so hope Cam and Emma get together in a book in this series (HINT, HINT!!!)
Having a dual POV really helped me to fully understand Chase. Being a foster child and his mental roadblocks, would have been difficult without having insight to his thoughts. It really helped me to understand him and his need to ride bulls. Hailey being a widow of a bull rider and her position was such a heart-breaker. I so look forward to more of this series. I can’t get enough!
I highly recommend anyone over the age of 18 to read this. There are some scenes that may offend some but those really are not written in an erotica manner. While you could read this without reading the first book, I highly recommend reading A Cowboy’s Salvation because it really is a great book that leads you into this one with greater understand.
The second book in the Redemption Ranch series, a well written story that held my interest throughout. Champion bull-rider Chase Summers and accountant and small business advisor Hailey Spencer’s story. Both of them have things in their pasts to get over if they are to move forward together, I liked Hailey’s son A.J.’s part in the story. I hope there is going to be another book in this series. Can a small child mend a heart?
Goodie gumdrops we have one cocky hunk of cowboy in this entertaining offering by Megan Ryder. Chase a bull rider who is recovering from injuries now back on the ranch he shared ownership with Tara, Wes and Ty an old childhood friend and now widow Hailey is back in his life. This one is a roller coaster of emotions and show characters with such realistic feeling that you will find it hard to put the book down. I highly recommend this book. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
This story deals with the intermost losses we feel left over from our childhood hurts. The sense of being unwanted, not belonging, unneeded, not loved. Some of us outgrow these and move on to live our life. Some of us run from life. Some just exist.
Chase grew up in foster care, not finding a home until a teen. He could never quite believe he would get to keep it.
Hailey lost her husband to the Rodeo and then he lost his life, leaving her and her 2 year old so to go on.
This story shows how the each learn to move on and accept what they have and not their fears.

First book for me by this author but I found I enjoyed it. It’s a heartbreaking, heartwarming sweet romance. Chase had a terrible childhood which made him have major trust issues. He has guilt issues over his best friend’s death and a secret crush on Hailey. Hailey is his best friend’s widow who is raising her young son. She gets a job at the Redemption Ranch which happens to be the place Chase is recovering after an injury on the bull riding circuit. Chase and Hailey have a past and a connection- chemistry they are fighting in vain. The more time spent together it gets harder to deny. Family, hope and love. I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher in exchange for my volunteer review
Chase, Adam and Hailey had been friends for a long time. Adam and Hailey got married and Adam followed Chase into the rodeo business. They were both bull riders searching for the championship. Adam was thrown from a bull and died before Hailey had a chance to say goodbye to him.
Adam had asked Chase to look out for Hailey if anything ever happened to him, and Chase agreed, thinking he would never have to but it was like Adam knew something was going to happen.
Chase came home and stood beside Hailey at the funeral and was their for her when she needed him. But then he felt like he was guilty for Adam’s death because if was bull riding Adam wouldn’t have either.
A really good book that makes you think how your life choices affect everyone around you. Very well written and will tug at your heart strings a little. Ok maybe a lot.
I highly recommend this book. I really enjoyed it.
Coming Home to the Cowboy by Megan Ryder is book number two in the Redemption Ranch series. This is Chase Summers and Hailey Spencer’s story.
Hailey was married to Chase’s best friend who died in an accident four years ago. Chase has always felt an attraction to Hailey but he feels it would be disloyal to his best friend’s memory. I enjoyed the interactions between them. They need to let their guards down and take a chance on love and happiness. Hot bull-rider Champion, sweet romance, and intense chemistry what’s not to love!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
