I’m not sure if I think this was the best book of the series because it is the last book of the series or because it is the best book. This series has been absolutely fantabulous.
Poppy and Jameson seem to be the perfect couple from the very beginning. They meet for the very first time on the side of the road, where she has had a flat tire and he stops to help her. But yet neither asked for the others name. The next time they meet happens to be at Jameson’s new home, which is where Poppy and her two small daughters have been told by Jameson’s mom, that they could stay there while he son is away. Nobody knew he was home yet. Except the sheriff and more than likely his mom, only because his mom seems to know everything, like most moms do. Poppy has just left a very bad relationship and has come to Carson to the one person she thinks could help her and that hap
pens to be Jameson’s father, Joseph. Poppy hasn’t seen Joseph since she was very young and is afraid that he won’t rememberher. But after a tense couple of minutes, he does. Anyway, Carson, North Carolina takes care of their own and once you’ve met the townspeople you are considered one of them, in most cases. Believe me, Poppy is safe, but after she meets Jameson, she feels very safe and secure. Jameson also vows to protect her at booksall costs.
This book was so good but I am so sad to see it end because it means there won’t be any more books about this family or about Carson, North Carolina. It’s a very blessed week for Renee Harless,ğ having this new book come out, but it’s a very sad time for the readers that have followed this series from the first word in mom book one, Coming Alive, to the last word in this book. Thank you Renee Harless for writing this series. Absolutely loved everyone of these

I did not like this book at all. Almost porn.
Carson seems like a lovely town! With everyone pulling together to help Poppy and her two sweet daughters when they come to town needing help. When Jameson meets Poppy it’s instalove for him and his heart melts when he meets Lily and Ruby. It’s a sweet story with steam and lots of loving family.
Jameson has spent many a sleepless night in front of his computer and it’s paid off. He’s gaining attention in the world of technology as he shares his program, which is what he was striving for, but one woman seeking his family’s help has him changing his focus to protecting her. She has him living again after losing the woman he thought he loved to his twin.
Poppy is a runner. Not for fun, but out of survival, literally. After spending too many years being moved from foster home to foster home, she’d thought she’d been rescued. She was wrong, and now she and her daughters are fleeing a living nightmare. Poppy is hoping her friend can save her once again, but she wasn’t expecting to fall for his twin at the same time.
Can James keep Poppy and her girls safe? Can Poppy trust again? Will these two heal each other? Is a forever possible?
One-click now and follow along as two people, both with their own emotional baggage, must decide if it’s worth the risk to see if what they’ve found together will turn into a HEA. On a purely personal note, while I like Poppy’s strength and determination to save her daughters, and James is equally determined to save the three of them and show Poppy she doesn’t have to keep running, there was one thing I didn’t care for. James once believed himself in love with another woman…one that is now his sister-in-law. Eww. No. Too close for me. I don’t care for that. – By Elizabeth
Poppy is a mother to two little girls, Ruby, 8 months, and Lily, two years old. When her boyfriend, Stan, raises his hand to Ruby, Poppy knows she finally must leave in order to keep her girls safe. She decides to leave California and heads to where she once felt safe, Carson, North Carolina.
Jameson Connelly is a rising star in the technology world but when his mom asks him to come home to Carson he does so. Yet he is spending some alone time in his bedroom when he is caught mid-hand by a beautiful stranger.
As Poppy tries to rebuild her life she knows that it is unlikely that Stan will just let her go. As Lily and Ruby become close with Jameson and his family will they be ready to leave if necessary?
Someone is sabotaging Jameson’s company and will he be able to discover who it is in time? When all the pieces fall into place is he going to lose everything?
This is such a great book and I have really enjoyed all of the books I have read in this series.
I loved Poppy and I was so happy that she found the courage to escape her relationship with Stan. She definitely had guardian angels on her side that allowed her with help to get to Carson. I loved how Jameson’s parents, Amy and Joseph, took her and the girls in and helped her get settled the best they could.
I thought Jameson was a great character and he was so awesome with Poppy and I loved his relationship with Lily. The two had such a great bond! I thought the way he met Poppy was awesome and I loved when they were able to move onto a relationship.
I felt bad with what Jameson was being subjected to on the business side of things because he was not willing to sell something. I was completely shocked when everything was revealed with that!
I hated Stan but I had no clue on how everything was linked together. I understood why Jameson was so mad and hurt but my heart also broke for Poppy. I was completely freaking out at the end but I loved Addie and what she did!!
The end was great and I have to go back and read a few of this series that I have missed!
This story got my heart because I see myself reflected in Poppy. A beautiful love story that involves Poppy and her daughters. I don’t even know how to describe it. I wish their story would have another book. One of the books I need to keep in my bookshelf at home. Is just Great!!!
I have really enjoyed this series each book has something special. I loved Jameson and Poppy, they were such a cute couple. Their relationship started quickly but it felt real. There was enough drama to keep it interesting. As usual it’s great to catch up with previous characters and some new especially Lily and Ruby they such a sweet addition. A quick read but definitely worth it.
I am so sad that this series is at its end. This book was phenomenal. And the name of the book, Coming Home, it’s perfect, because it is like coming home when I read about this family.
So the sexy not so nerdy Jameson returns home from being away for 6 months to find that his mother has let someone stay in his newly built house. It kind of made me think of Goldie Locks and the 3 Bears, someone’s been sleeping in my bed, and they’re still in it. lol
Poppy and her 2 girls are running from a bad situation, and go to the only place she can think if that has someone that would help her, Carson. The Connelly family welcome them with open arms, and then use those same arms to nudge Poppy and Jameson together.
But any true love story has their twists and turns, and this story is no different. When Poppy’s past catches up to her, she has to make Jameson see the truth.
Reading this book was really quite bittersweet for me. I’ve loved this entire series, and view Carson as a home away from home. Saying goodbye to the Connelly family after all the adventures we’ve been through broke my heart. I loved everything about Jameson’s story, Poppy was the perfect woman to break down his walls. Poppy’s daughters grabbed my heart right from the start, and never let up. One thing I’ve always loved about this series is the level of suspense and danger that the author adds, making it more than just your average love story. Although I know this is the end I still hold out hope that perhaps Ms. Harless will surprise us with more! I mean, there’s a whole new generation whose stories still need to be told! I read Coming Home in just hours, and was so sad to reach the end.
Oh my this was such a great book, this book is the last book in the Welcome to Carson series This is my favorite out of the series.
Poppy and Jameson love them! Poppy’s daughters awe is all I can say!
What a nice story of family, home, love and laughter
I recommend you start at the beginning.
4.5 Stars
I really enjoyed this one. It delivered on the feels, humor, heat, and suspense. To me it was well rounded. They story hit me right in the heart, but it also so beautiful. The reason Poppy and her little girls are in North Carolina broke my heart. To see the Connelly family take them in warmed my heart. The scenes with Jameson and Poppy’s little girl so adorable. They are very swoon worthy moments. I was drawn to this one because Jameson was a nerdy guy and I’m a sucker for them. This is definitely a book you don’t want to pass up.
This series was amazing! I could read it over and over.
Jameson has worked really hard with his Tech business. He has everything he could have dreamed of, but still hasn’t found that someone special to settle down with…
Poppy is on the run, with her two young daughters. Not knowing who to turn too. Scared of being found. She goes in search of one person who saved her. She heads to Carson, in the hopes he can help her again…
While in Carson, Poppy meets Jameson and is instantly attracted to him. She wants to follow her heart, but is scared. Is it too good to be true? Could he be the one? The one person that can save her?
Such a sweet wrap up of the Carson Series! Jameson and Poppy have an insta-love, and Jameson has the same instant love for her adorable daughters. He can’t wait to make them his own! Poppy’s ex will try anything to keep it from happening. Read the book and find out how the story ends. The writer pulls you in and makes you eager for the next scene. I highly recommend it
This book was such a wonderful closer for the Carson Family. I don’t want it to end because I’ve come to love this family and all of their stories.
Over the Last year I fell in love with the Connelly family and the town of Carson one book at the time. When I read Coming Alive, Jameson was the one I was most curious about. Since he didn’t take to well to having another sister. Of course his story would be the last one. But it was so worth the wait. It is the perfect conclusion to the series. I highly recommend this series. I am just sad that it is over!
Beautiful and sadly bittersweet. I have really loved this series from the very beginning and I’m sad that its come to an end. I devoured this book too quickly not because I wanted to but because I couldn’t put it down. I have grown slightly attached to these characters and it was hard having to say goodbye.
Coming Home was a hard book to put down. I could not turn the pages fast enough. Jameson and Poppy’s story was a perfect ending to this series. Poppy had a past in Carson and naturally was drawn there as refuge. Jameson, well his mother played matchmaker and brought him home early from his business trip. From the first page to the very end, every page was filled with love and along the way some suspense and of course humor. I hate to see the Welcome to Carson Series end and I hope there may be an update or two on the Connolly clan in the future. This was a well written book and series.
“I love you with everything I am and I think I fell in love with you the moment you tried to run me over with your car.”
What a great story! A damsel in distress. A sexy IT nerd. Danger lurking in the shadows. A family who’s loyalty knows no bounds. Mix them all together and you have story that will give you all the feels!!
Jameson Connelly is a Tech God. Famous in his industry, he’s touring the country promoting his world-changing program. He hasn’t been home in months. He’s fine with that since the woman he loved is set to marry his twin brother, Ryker. After a cryptic message from his mother that she needs him, he reluctantly returns home only to find more than he bargained for. A strange yet beautiful woman, and her two young daughters are living in his house. She’s connected to his family and needs their help. What started out as an imposition, quicky turns into a life he never expected. She’s everything he’s hoped for, and he’s staking claim on all three of them. With danger following her, will he be able to keep her safe? He just found her, and no one is taking her from him.
Poppy Holden took her girls and ran, hoping the man that saved her once, will do it again. She needed safety, a place to hide where HE couldn’t find them. She never expected Jameson. The tall, handsome, muscled man who found her unexpectedly living in his house. He’s everything she could have hoped for, but is it all too good to be true? When danger finds her, will she live to find her happily ever after?
I have loved this series from book one! I am so sad to see it end. These characters have truly engrained themselves in my heart. Avery and Logan, Austin and Nikki, Sydney and Dylan, Cassiday and Harlan, Everleigh and Brooks, Ryker and Norah, and now Jameson and Poppy. They all have an amazing story, each unique to their own happy ever after. I highly recommend this entire series to everyone that believes in love, soulmates, and fighting for what you want. I can’t wait to see what’s next from Ms. Harless. Rest assured, I’ll be one-clicking her books for as long as she writes them!
Jameson returned home from a six month speaking engagement to find a ready made family living in his house. He was instantly attracted to Poppy with her natural beauty and kind soul. Would he open his heart to Poppy and her daughters and can he be what they need right now and into the future?
Jameson loves his job and is proud of what he has accomplished but it is hard to meet women who like him for the man that he is. God did him a favor when he sent Poppy and her girls to him. His life is filled with work but he knows he has room in his heart for more and he feels the need to protect Poppy and keep them all safe They naturally fit into his life and he doesn’t mind when Lily eats food from his dish or when she wraps her little arms tightly around his neck. His life feels complete now and he hopes he can convince Poppy that she can trust him.
Poppy felt an instant connection to Jameson and she can’t believe he had welcomed them all into his home. One morning, as she gazed at him while they were having breakfast, with Lily sitting in his lap, she caught herself dreaming of many more mornings just like this one. Jameson is a natural father and he took to the girls with patience and caring. Poppy wants to trust him because she is crazy about him but is all of this too good to be true?
Renee writes the Welcome to Carson series as if you are part of the family and have been invited into their world to share in their heartwarming stories. Family always comes first and their family is full of love, devotion, caring and understanding. Tears and heartache become happiness and joy. True love takes hard work, patience and a heart that is open to the possibility of a lifetime partner who will stand by you no matter what happens.
There are a few surprises at the end of “Coming Home” that I know everyone who loves the series as much as I do, will be thrilled to read about. Thank you, Renee, for this wonderful series and I know I will be visiting Carson again soon.
