She knew what it was like to feel unwanted. At an early age Eliza Anderson learned a very hard lesson. Sometimes the people who are supposed to love you the most are the ones that cause you the most pain. She learned to guard herself, hesitating to let anyone close for fear of feeling that rejection all over again. Then Ethan came into her life, and what had started as a simple childhood crush … childhood crush morphed into a friendship she eventually came to cherish above all else. He was her safe place. Her rock. A shoulder she could lean on. Until he ripped it all away.
He knew what it was like to feel like an outsider.
Ethan Prewitt grew up learning that you couldn’t always trust the people you loved the most to be there. That sense of security he craved had always alluded him, leaving him to feel like an interloper in his own home. He dreamed of escaping the small town of Pembrooke and building a life where he didn’t have to depend on anyone but himself. What he never expected was for his friendship with Eliza to grow into something that meant everything to him.
Mistakes were made. Hearts were broken. But now Ethan’s home and he’s determined to make it right. It was time for their relationship to come full circle.
Because what they had was once in a lifetime.

I have loved this whole series! As with most of her characters, this author makes woman who are strong yet vulnerable, Alphas who try to do the right thing but go about it the wrong way. Not only are her main characters pretty awesome but we are able to revisit ones we love and a lot of banter
After reading Sweet Sunshine, I was looking forward to reading the rest of the books in Jessica Prince’s “The Pembrooke” series. I loved Eliza in the first book. And I really enjoyed her all grown up in Coming Full Circle, especially since she was able to follow through with her childhood crush that she had with Ethan.
I really enjoyed this book, although it was a little weird seeing Eliza and Ethan grown up initially. It took some time to adjust to that, but once I did, I really got into their story.
I’m glad that I read Coming Full Circle, and look forward to reading more by Jessica Prince!
I loved seeing Eliza all grown up after reading about her in Chloe and Derrick’s story! She had been in love with Ethan her whole life and was devastated when he abandoned her 6 years before the story starts. An injury brings him back home and face to face with his best friend, the girl he fell in love with when she was too young for him. Six years isn’t a big age difference…when both people are over the age of 18, so Ethan left Eliza, seemingly without a backward glance.
I was happy she made him work for it and that the book wasn’t all about them jumping right into a physical relationship. I felt like Ms. Prince set the tone for their relationship and built it back from the ground up again. Another great Jessica Prince book!!
Eliza has always loved Ethan. Their family’s were best friends and they were together as best friends for years. The issue, Ethan was 6 years older than Eliza.
While as adults that’s no big deal, but when you’re 16 and 22, it’s bad. So Ethan did what he thought he had to and broke Eliza’s heart and left her. Ethan became a big famous football player and Eliza expanded on Chloe’s cafe and became a chef. Once Ethan came back to recover from a torn ACL, he was determined to get Eliza back.
Jessica Prince, I believe did a great job at showing us the love for Eliza never left Ethan and how he fought to get her back. I liked that it wasn’t rushed that Eliza didn’t just forgive him quickly. I liked that he had to work for it. But once they were back together, I liked that he also had to get her father to accept it.
Their love story was sweet. I loved reading it! Another great story to the Pembrooke series!
I am obsessed with Jessica Prince and even more obsessed over this series. I can’t help it I love it so much. Coming Full Circle was so amazing and I could not have been happier with Eliza and Ethan’s story. It is a perfect friends to lovers romance.
Its so strange that Eliza is now an adult and runs her own Cafe and it almost makes me sad at all the years that have passed since Sweet Sunshine. But it in no way takes away from the story. Chloe, Derrick, and Harlow are mentioned in this book enough that you get that close-knit family feel that I love about these group of friends. I loved that Eliza and Ethan became best friends who confided in one another and became what each one needed. But somewhere along the road, Ethan’s feelings for Eliza changed, but she was only sixteen, and he made a choice that regretted for six years.
The one thing I loved about this book is how Jessica Prince wrote Eliza’s character. She has come a long way from when she was a kid in Sweet Sunshine. She has lived a good life with her dad and Chloe being the mother she needed. But she still issues from all the things her mother did to her and it has caused her to be closed off and guarded. Of course Eliza is going to have some issues with a mother like Layla and what child doesn’t want their mothers love. This causes trouble for Ethan who comes back to town intent on winning Eliza back, it takes more work than he thought, but hes not giving up. Ethan did everything in his power to prove his worth to Eliza and for her to take a chance on him. I swear I swooned like a schoolgirl with her first crush at how romantic and sweet this book was. I loved these two so much. They could not have been more perfect for each other. Ethan is an amazing character who I was rooting for the entire time. When they finally admitted their feelings for each other I shed happy tears.
My only issue with this book that I decided to not let affect how many stars I gave it was the pacing sorta. I felt that it took too long for Ethan and Eliza to actually get together. I feel like with Sweet Sunshine, things were happening with Chloe and Derrick quicker than with this book. I didn’t really get a chance to enjoy it before the book was over. There could have been some more intimate moments between them as well since I really only got one scene where that happens.
Obviously I loved this book. I could not recommend it enough. I would suggest reading Sweet Sunshine first to understand Eliza’s character fully and how this close family fits together. It is seriously an amazing book that you will love.
