This was a great story and I loved AURORA and ARES they went well together and had an awesome chemistry together. The story was well developed and well written with a great plot. It’s a story full of action, suspense, intrigue, drama, blood, shifters, magic, love, hate, jealously, tenderness, passion, hot alpha male and an amazing hot and steamy romance that I loved.

Holy crap! This is HOT! I was not prepared for the panty melting moments throughout this whole book! We see so many different situations and heart strings definitely get pulled on. This book will suck you in and literally spit you out leaving you begging for book 2! Trust me!
This was a surprisingly good read! The hate between the characters was light and believable when it made the switch to love. I would definitely pick up another book by this author. I highly recommend.
This book was such a fantastic read. I can’t wait for the second book in this series. This story will have you laughing one minute, mad the next, happy, then crying. Emilia did such a great job and I can’t wait to see what is in store in the books to come!
Fantastic book, loved it from the get go, a very naughty and strong Alpha versus a feisty and stubborn heroine, with lots of secrets, suspense and mystery in this paranormal fast-paced read.

I devoured this book. The action, the heat, the plot twists. I am definitely hooked and can’t wait to see what happens with the other half of the stone and the hounds.
This is a great first book in the series. Aurora and Ares have a captivating story filled with emotion, mystery and great interactions. Characters are complex and easy to feel for. I am very excited to read book 2.
Ares is violent, ruthless, and cold-hearted when he is introduced into the story. He is on a mission to obtain the Malavite Stone, a crystal that can give the owner ungodly powers and provides healing properties, and he will annihilate anything in his path as he tries to find it.
When Area meets Aurora, he realizes she is his mate. She is able to fall in love with him because she sees his softer side. Not all the bad things people say about him are true. But she has secrets and, if he finds out what she knows, would he kill her to obtain that knowledge? Will Aurora be able to fight off the rogues who are after her by herself?
I loved this story. It was a great read as it combined shifters, a spunky female Alpha and a hot god of a male Alpha. Both Ares and Aurora were great characters and a blast to read as they meet and fall in love. I loved their interactions and most made me laugh out loud. There was a bit of a mystery or two involved and the ending was stellar and made me cry “NOOOOOOOO” as I had to know what came next. But the setup for the next one was a great. I also loved the rest of the characters introduced here and really enjoyed the bad guys getting what they deserved. It was steamy but a great story.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this story. Incredible characters and oh so many interesting pieces. I couldn’t stop reading the story was just that good.

Slight spoiler:
This book is as steamy as my mirror after a shower! What a great story and I can’t wait for book 2 to see what was in that hole. Lots of issues dealt with in this story and it was very interesting to see how Ares/Mars and Aurora deal with them.

Who doesn’t like a story about mythological gods? This one was pretty interesting and entertaining, and I enjoyed getting to know the characters and getting another spin on Ares story.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the unlikely love story between Aurora and Ares. They each have complicated lives and personalities but fate decides they are perfect for each other. She is a broken shifter that brings a wasting beast and his heart to heel. He is the dangerous, take no prisoners warrior that shows her true worth. These two have sparks that could have ignited the pages but there is a great story to back it all up. I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one in the series

I have to say that I’ve been reading Emilia Rose’s books for a while now. I love Come Here Kitten. Mars/Ares is like the perfect man all rolled into one. He loves deep and protects even more. Aurora was told he was not a great man at all, but a vicious, ruthless killer only after power. So she is scared he will not want her when he learns of her disability. They both have a disability, one being physical other being mental. There is so much in this book you get all the love, hate, jealously, tenderness, drama, action, blood, shifters, magic, and talk about steamy sex so you get it all with the story. I suggest that you buy this book and read it. I’ve read it more than a few times as it is that good. The sex scenes are just unreal. So passionate. So erotic. So looking for that sexy book to read you have it right here just click and get the book.

Ares/Mars and Aurora were mates, her mother traded her to Ares to keep her pack alive. So she moved to his pack. There were some big issues that they had to overcome for them to get to where they belonged. Ares was after a stone to heal his sister of cancer, but where the 2 pieces were made it hard to get them. Very action packed the wrists and turns kept a person reading until the end.
I’ve been a huge fan of Emilia’s for a long time and I am in love with all her books I’ve read so far and this books just shows how talented she is! I love this book! I will be recommending this book to my bookstgram followers right away! And to anyone who hasn’t read CHK, do it! It’s so worth it! It’s has everything a good book should have.

New author for me. Young FMC Aurora (19) and Ares starts off hot and steamy in chapter 1. This book touches on the serious matter of D.I.D. and other issues. I would like to give this book 5 stars for being well-written and emotional content, but I can’t do that in good conscience until the trigger warnings have been added. Some readers may be sensitive to these issues. If you love alphas, more specifically dominant alphas, this book is for you.

Come here, kitten is such an amazing book! I have reread this book twice because the story is so powerful. This is a must-read book, else your missing out. Aurora is a strong young girl, who is destined to be a leader. Yet, no one ever gave her a chance to show them her full potential, until she met him. Mars/Ares is a man who is rumored to have killed thousands, just because he wants to. Little does everyone know, that he must act this way to save the people he loves. No one ever gives these two characters a chance to show that the rumors are wrong. Not until they meet each other, and find out that they are mates!

That was somewhat pretty good. Once you get past the sex, the corny lines. The story was original and captivating.
You do need your brain in gear as I did have to read a few things twice!!
Ares God of War!! Harbinger of doom and destruction, he’s after the Malavite Stone, why you ask? Well, I’ll tell you…..
Aurora alpha in training (which is mentioned a lot!) but she’s not actually in training! Her mother the first female alpha of The DarkMoon pack is suppose to be training her daughter, but she’s spending more time fretting about the coming war with Ares and his pack of bloodthirsty wolves and training Aurora’s soon to be Beta!!
The reason being, Aurora can’t shift! She was almost killed by rogues, she has the ability (she has the wolf inside) but her spine was shattered, so making shifting impossible (well it takes too long) and uncomfortable beyond belief…..
So as far as Aurora is concerned she’s broken, and believes her mother and pack thinks so too. So trying to believe Ares when he tells her she will be Luna of his pack is going to take time.
If I say too much it’s going to give things away. But I will say it’s worth a little confusion.
The storyline is good, the fight scenes are bloody, and the romance is hot and steamy.
Ares is hard to read, he’s both hard and soft, caring and cruel. And when Aurora becomes his unwilling mate, she sees all those sides to him and more. So who is Ares, the soft and caring brother and mate, or the ruthless leader who crushes anyone and everything in his path?
Ares is a complex character, he hides facets of himself from most people, but he can’t help but show his softer side to Aurora, yes she’s his mate, but she’s distracting him from his mission! He wants to be her Alpha, but he also wants her to want all of him….
Oh, I forgot to tell you why Ares is after the Stone didn’t I? It’s because….. no, can’t tell you, it’s better if you read it for yourself.
First book in the series, and I’m hoping it’s going to be a series, there is a lot of potential, and I’m really hoping Marcel from Ares pack gets a book.
A few minor characters give us a little light relief from all the angst that’s in this book, one being Raffles (named for the crisps she loves so much) a cat with attitude had me smiling whenever I read about the feline.
The thing I was a little uncomfortable with was the way her mother treated her, that was sad, her spineless father never stood up for her, her beta who basically only wanted her for her position in the pack, I felt pity for her, but that never stopped her doing her own thing (and I liked that a lot her) she was crushed time and time again, but she dusted herself off and got on with it.
The rogue’s add the element of mystery, why target Aurora? Do they know something Ares doesn’t? The whereabouts of the Malavite Stone?
The interaction between the MC’s had me pinging from frustration to amusement, screaming at my kindle and rolling my eyes at the way they danced around one another!
Neither would tell the other where the stone was or why the stone was so important!
But when Aurora finds out why Ares wants the stone, can she help him? Will she want to help him?
And when Ares finds out Aurora knows where the stone is, will he demand it? Or can he listen to reason?
I received this book for an honest review and all thoughts are my own
