COME HALLOWEEN is the first book in the Halloween Seduction series. Each will stand on its own, but they are loosely tied together, since the female leads are devoted sisters. You can read them in either order.
I have long held to the belief that we are the sum of the those whom we hold most dear and have lost. For me, it is a daughter, a best friend, a brother, and a sister (two to car accidents and two to cancer). For Kelly Ginsberg, it is her husband, Jared and she’s found a loophole. She can say hello (and a whole lot more) one day of every year.
Kelly’s love life doesn’t exist except on Halloween night. She has a friend, Derek, who is always there for her – and everyone can see that he would love to always be there for her, wink-wink-nudge-nudge – but she’s still lost in thoughts of raising her husband. She’s stumbled across the way. The way all of those who grieve deeply wish they could find… at least one more visit.
It’s mildly heartbreaking, but hopeful. In the end, it is romantic and still brings a smile to my face. Definitely read-worthy.

What happens if you could bring your spouse back? Then love finds its way to you unexpectedly. This is my first book by this author and I would recommend it. It is something completely different from what I usually read.

Halloween Coming by Robbie Cox is an unusual love story takes place just prior to and then consecutively with “Behind the Mask”.
Losing a spouse is never easy, especially when that love is a force meant to last forever. Not everyone takes this loss the same. Some manage to eventually move on, others never get over their loss. If only you could bring your loved one back from the land of the dead.
Kelly is still mourning for her husband two years after his death and is struggling to move on. Derek has loved Kelly from a distance for a long time and is determined to give her all the time she needs to mourn.
What no one knows is that Kelly has found a way to bring her dead husband back, but at what expense?
I found Kelly to be a bit selfish. She doesn’t really considered what she is doing to her friends, Derek or even her dead husband.
Mr. Cox has brought this world into reality where the personal faults and desires of the characters are what makes this a five-star twisted fantasy.

Kelly practiced witchcraft so that she could bring her dead husband back to life one day a year, but in addition, she wanted Derek. This is a very strange “triangle” and the characters were portrayed well. Strange, but fitting, end. Good read!

When you love someone and they are taken from you too quickly, it’s difficult to find a way to get over the loss and move forward with your life. That was the situation Kelly Ginsberg faced after her husband, Jared, died in a motorcycle accident two years earlier.
Derek Cranston had been supportive of Kelly and was even now trying to convince her to come to a Halloween festivity with him. But she insisted she would be with Jared tonight, the anniversary of his death. She considered herself still married and felt guilty for even being at home watching a Halloween movie with Derek! He worried about her going alone to the graveyard to visit Jared; but she was a practicing witch, though she didn’t tell him that, and could defend herself if necessary from any mischief-making kids. She knew Derek wanted a deeper relationship with her, but he didn’t know Jared wasn’t “completely” dead – and Halloween in two weeks was the one night she could spend with him.
A year ago she had gone to the grave to mourn and saw a flickering light. She crept over to it to see what it was and saw a woman at a grave, candles surrounding it and incense burning. The woman chanted something and a man bathed in a blue glow climbed up out of the grave! The glow disappeared and he took the witch in his arms. Kelly wanted this same power – to bring Jared back! Now she prepared to experience it once again in two weeks when Halloween arrived. But what about Derek who had faithfully supported her and made sure she was okay. Was it okay to take this one day per year for her dead husband? Or was it selfish to hold off the man who loved her and felt the pain of her rejection daily? Could she move on? Could she let Jared go and make a life with Derek?
This was a very enticing story that fit the Halloween season very well! The characters were amazing and the descriptions made them so real to the reader. It was easy to feel the pain, the devastation, and the hope being experienced. Kelly’s choice sounded like it should be simple, but it wasn’t. Grab your copy and be prepared for the twists that take you to a surprise ending you won’t want to miss!
This is a sweet and heartbreaking love story with a magical story line. It tells the story of love lost, grieving and not being able to let go and to what extent one would go through to be with them again. It’s also a story of friendship and discovering a new love. The author brings a cast of strong, well developed characters and shows the love and support for Kelly and also for Derek. The story is brought to life with his descriptive writing and detailed scenes and had me hooked from start to finish. This is my first book by this author but it won’t be the last. I loved and would highly recommend reading.
