In , movie star Smith Sullivan can’t afford any distractions. He’s staking his entire reputation on his new film… but he can’t stop thinking about Valentina Landon and the fire he sees smoldering just beneath the surface.
Valentina isn’t averse to sensual pleasure, or even to the idea of finding true love, but as a Hollywood business manager she’s watched too many smart women fall for … watched too many smart women fall for actors… only to be torn apart when the fairytale comes to its inevitable end.
But when intense weeks together on set turn their heated attraction into red-hot flames of passion, Smith knows he has to find a way to convince Valentina to let him get a little bit closer. Close enough to completely steal her heart… the way she’s stolen his from the start.
Author’s Note: While Come a Little Bit Closer can easily be read as a stand-alone story, you’ll likely enjoy reading the earlier Sullivan books, too.

I enjoyed this story about Smith and Valentina.
Loved this book. It’s one of my favourites. I read it a day. The characters are likeable and you can relate to them. This series is addictive. You just want to read the next one as soon as you’ve finished the last . I’ve re read this a few times though
A great Hollywood romance!
I read the series years ago and loved each one of them. large family each sibling finding the perfect mate.
Smith Sullivan is one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood, but he can’t seem to find someone who isn’t after what his fame can give them. Then he meets Valentina, his costars sister, WOW!
Valentina manages her sisters career, Tatiana is starring alongside Smith in a movie he wrote, is producing, directing and starring in. Warning Smith to not …
Finding Love
Smith has watched his siblings fall in love, but with being an actor he knew it would be hard. The first time he saw Valentina was when he was casting her younger sister in his movie. Valentina didn’t date actors but she promised her his she would be there for her. Little did she know she would fall for Smith.
We really haven’t learned much about Smith in the previous six The Sullivans books. He’s a world renowned movie star, second to oldest brother, makes a mean margarita (my kinda man) and loves his family above all. He lives his life with passion and honor. For his current project, he not only is starring and directing it but he is producing it and …
She finally did it. I’ve read a lot of Bella Andre and while the hot sex has made up for poorly executed plot or romance it was never more than sub par. But she finally got it right by throwing out a plot altogether. There is no story arch just two people falling in love and it’s beautiful. It dragged in places the wedding, the reunion, but vast …
I love the Sullivan series. The characters are down to earth and have some complexity.
This was such a sweet, entertaining, and heartwarming book all in one and I absolutely loved it! Incredibly deep characters with a full, rich story line, had me gushing with all the warm feels one looks for in a romance novel.
Valentina Landon has always taken care of her younger sister, ever since their father died and their mother became …
Great book!! I love the Sullivan family. Great family. Smith Sullivan is a movie star that is staking his entire reputation on in his new film. His co-star is a very talented, very beautiful actress but all Smith can think about is Titiana’s manager sister, Valentina! A standalone with an HEA!!! Great book!!!
Loved this story! The characters were great, and I honestly can’t wait to read more in this series by this author.
The book was okay. I just wished the author wouldn’t have weighed so much on these character’s families. A little is fine, but I felt Like the author was trying to sell the other books in the series.
Good read
A wonderful story. A wonderful series!
Loved the hero in this book!
Loved it and hated to see it end. Looking forward to reading more from Bella Andre!
This is the second in the series. I have read the entire series and love all of them.
Smith and Valentia had that connection from the beginning, but she was her sister’s on site manager on the set. The book set up a culture of respect for each other’s professional life, but that romantic connection kept getting in the way. Wonderful read with cast of characters from some of her other novels as well.
Valentina has dedicated herself to her sister’s movie career, but leading man and director of the latest project with her sister — Smith — has other ideas for Valentina’s future. First he must convince her that he is not another love-em-and-leave-em handsome rich guy in a suit.
