I loved this book!! Just like others by Alexa and Autumn! I especially love how Colt and Mirabella show that you can get second chances with God, in life, and in love. I especially love how their characters have grown and can admit that they made mistakes in the past, yet, that they can also grow and change those behaviors with God’s help. I love the faith thread all of the way through. It always goes through every aspect of our lives, and God can and does use our pasts to bring us the future He has for us. We have to be open, willing, obedient, and let Him lead us where He wants us to go. He is faithful, and He will see us through, every step of the way.
I received an advance copy of this book, was not required to leave a review. The view expressed is strictly my own.
A story of second chances and learning to trust again.
Mirabella is being targeted in a way that’s suspiciously similar to the serial killer she hunted down and thought dead. She lost her memory, years of her life, the trust of the man she loved, and the privilege of watching her kids grow up because of that man. Is it really the same guy or a copycat killer?
I loved Brett, the first story in this series, and was so excited for Colt. It was so good! What an exciting ride! Although we met Colt, Mirabella, and their adorable twins, Kitty and Corbin, in book one, it was nice to get to know them even better here.
The mystery was really good. There were lots of suspects and any one of them could’ve done it. But when the reveal came, I was completely shocked. Didn’t see that coming!
I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a little suspense with their romance. I can’t wait for David’s story!
I received a copy of this book from the author and voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and comments are my honest opinion.
