Celebrate the joyful hope of the Christmas season as characters find healing in the midst of heartbreak. New from Olivia Newport! Christmas in Blue In the wake of a personal loss deeper than anyone realizes, Angela plans to bypass as much of the season as possible and get through her duties as the church organist by going on autopilot. Instead, she finds herself in charge of the town’s … finds herself in charge of the town’s celebration. After a mysterious young man arrives, townspeople suspect he is the reason that one set of plans after another disintegrate until little is left of their traditions. Yet Angela warms to Gabe because she suspects they share a secret–his real reason for coming to town. Even when all they have to work with is a garish supply of blue Christmas decorations, Gabe helps Angela discover the hidden beauty of hope.

I loved the way it laid out the true Christmas story.Makes you realize what’s really important, and how we often get distracted this time of year.
Enjoyed.
Good insight into what many people face for the holiday season, and how they successfully deal with the challenges.
It took a long time to get to the good part, but when it did, it was am eye opener, a learning experience, helpful.
I liked how the author told the story and was building the characters. The ending left too many unanswered questions about the future of the characters. I would love to see her finish.
Best book I’ve read all season. I enjoyed the WW II narration throughout the story.
Liked the first story. The second didn’t hold my interest.
Only read a few pages. it did not hold my interest.
I love the way Astrid used her difficult circumstances to help other people that she did not imagine knowing at the time of her loss.
I can relate to Angela’s sense of loss of a special friend. Despite the difficult circumstances, she carried on to honor her friend’s commitment to the town’s celebration. Angela discovered unexpected relationships forming in the bonds of loss.
It was just different and kept you interested
A little long for a short story.
Loved getting 2 stories in one book. The color themed Christmas stories were moving and original.
Christmas in Gold so loved the character of Astrid. What an incredible inspiration she was a wonderful reminder of what Christmas is truly about.
Very well written…

Uplifting Christmas stories
Christmas in Blue is a very special story. Well written and touches the essence of loved loss at Christmas.
This thought provoking book is a gem to be thoroughly enjoyed and reread when needed. Olivia has great skill writing about human emotions and making sense of undeniable hardships. I found these books uplifting. The strong characters added so much. I would highly recommend this book!
It left me hanging and trying to decide what the ending might be. Too bad, because I was invested in the characters lives.
Nice Christmas story
