My job is to secure a Formula 1 contract deal while avoiding bad press. I didn’t foresee Sophie Mitchell threatening my plans, tempting me to corrupt her, one naughty bucket list item at a time. For her reputation and mine, I should stay away, but I can’t deny the pull I have toward her. What happens when our teasing turns into more? Sophie started a game she can’t win, and damn if my victory … and damn if my victory won’t be the sweetest one yet.
Creating a naughty bucket list gains Liam Zander’s attention, solidifying a destined-for-failure friendship.
He draws me in with his seductive promises, hidden persona, and unattainable heart. I broke my biggest rule, unwillingly adding a new item to my list while shattering my heart–and friendship–in the process.
Our love story isn’t written in the stars. How can it be when Liam is a black hole, sucking me in and leaving nothing behind?
Collided is a standalone romance packed with action, steam, and banter.

Collide is book 2 on Lauren Asher series Dirty Air. You previously met our leading couple, Liam and Sophie, in Throttled.
This book was emotional, fun and super sexy hot. A friends to lover romance in the world of F1 racing. The story between Sophie and Liam starts parallel to Maya and Noah’s story from book 1. So we finally get to see what was actually happening with this two after all the looks and sizzling chemistry we saw in the previous book.
Liam is F1 racing royalty and rival of Noah Slade in the tracks. Off track this two are good friends. Liam is a German, sexy hot and a total bad boy.
“Unlike nice guys, bad boys always finish last. Every. Single. Time. And there are plenty of repeats.”
He has a dirty mouth and a body for sin but under all that there’s a huge heart that have suffer and lost. His past has shape how he deals with his feelings. He is charming, disarming and the man driving Sophie to combustion.
Sophie Mitchell is the daughter of the Bandini crew principal; Liam’s rival team. She is petite and beautiful in a simple way but don’t mistake her as delicate; she is fierce. She is headstrong, determined and down to earth. She has an amazing personality and carisma that will make you fall in love with her and want to be her BFF. She has bewitched Liam.
“My beautiful angel. Too wicked for heaven, too good for hell.”
This love story is a hell of a slow burn which I love. Trying to denied their feelings to preserve the friendship will drive you as insane as it drove them.
“Liking Sophie is kind of like jumping out of a plane. Exhilarating, addicting, and damn near impossible to forget.”
They are so perfect together. You get to see this relationship grow and blossom. The chemistry between the main characters was hot and the friendship swoony. I laughed a lot with their shenanigans. There’s vulnerable moments and grief that will twist your heart too. That first chapter brought me to tears.
I’m really looking forward to read more about this racing world. I want more about Luka, Liam’s brother and Also Jax and Santiago.
Collided will take you on a wild ride and you will not be able to put it down. Yes it was filled with fast cars and hot racers, it was fun and flirty but the story will also give you all the feels with the sexiness, the tender moments, the heartbreaking moments, the dirty talking hero and the feisty, sassy heroine. I liked Liam and Sophie together. They had an amazing connection and their chemistry was evident with their every interaction. You will love their back and forth banter and the push and pull between them. I loved that they got to know each other first as friends and enjoyed seeing their relationship evolve. Collided was a great read and you will enjoy getting lost in this world of Formula 1 Drivers. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to all lovers of contemporary romance.
I haven’t read the first book in the series but it is not necessary to enjoy this story. From their first meeting you can feel the connection between Liam and Sophie. They have great banter and as friends and a couple they just work. There is a chapter early on that had me cursing the author it literally stopped me in my tracks I had to take a big breath before continuing. I loved getting to know Liam, as the book progressed we see go from loving family man to playboy and then to a loyal friend and I like them all. Sophie is a contradiction, she’s funny kind smart but with a side dose of wicked looking for temptation.
Apart from the hard chapter at the start this was alot of fun to read.
Sophie’s encounter with the most beautiful man she’s ever seen 4 years ago did not prepare her for seeing him again in the present. Liam knows better than to start any kind of relationship with the too young and inexperienced, but beautiful Sophie, but he can’t seem to help being drawn to her. As they begin a friendship that inevitably turns into more as she begs him to help her complete her bucket list, Sophie knows she needs to guard her heart, they even have a rule against falling in love with each other. Will they be able to maintain a friends with benefits situation or will one of them eventually catch feelings?
I loved this hot racing romance just as much as the previous one in the series, Throttled. Sophie is a quirky spitfire, perfect for deeply damaged Liam. I felt so badly for Liam, for all the pain he kept buried deep inside, hoping he’d finally allow himself the love he deserved and found with Sophie. This is a super sexy, emotionally gripping story, and I’m excited for the next one in this racing series.

What more could you want in a good book!!
Sophie and Liam deliver fabulously, sexy and fun foreplay as they dance around each other. Sophie is breaking out; she is trying so hard to embrace who she really is after years of living up to her father’s expectations. By doing this, she has pushed aside her true passion and dreams. One crazy night she creates a unique bucket list of items as the push to free herself. Getting her father to allow her to travel with him on the racing circuit was a challenge but she is embracing this opportunity. Along the way she meets Maya who becomes a wonderful friend and she encounters Liam, sexy racer with a sordid past. But Liam makes her heart sing while he also becomes a great friend. Liam loves to race, it’s all he wants to do but he carries a burden after losing his best friend, that has him coasting through life without feeling. Meeting Sophie wakes something up. He finds himself drawn to her, wanting to engage in this crazy foreplay that they have. Will Sophie be able to help Liam open his heart? I had fun with this couple. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
Such a beautiful love story between two very strong characters.
Two broken characters come together to heal each other and open up again. Liam and Sophies love story is difficult, and Lauren did such an amazing job portraying these characters and all of their complex feelings.
Can I get an AMEN for strong, confident heroines???? Sophie is one of the best FMC’s I’ve read in a long time!!
Liam Zander does not disappoint when it comes to heating the entire fucking room up. His complete insistence to help Sophie with her Fuck It list is hot, hot, hot. & then when they start knocking shit off?? Woooooooow. Okay, Lauren, I see u.
I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review <3
“The sight of him, combined with his synergistic torture, pushes me over. He promised I’d be seeing stars, and damn, the universe has never looked or felt so damn good.”
Ok, if any of you knows me you guys now that I’ve been expecting this book for a few months now, I was lucky enough to beta read this book for Lauren, and not only that but also to develop a friendship that I’ll cherish forever *tries not to cry while writing this*.
Anyway, I finished reading this book yesterday and I’m still processing everything. I have a mix of feelings that I can’t describe but at the same time the power of words in this book woke up everything in me.
Anxiety the slow burn kills you
Swooning
That man is a HERO *won’t say who*
Cries*all these emotions are way too much, I’m telling you*
Fangirls about them* wants to jump and scream at the end*
This book is SO GOOD that I don’t know where to even start.
Sophie, she’s such a genuine character that I was immediately pulled to. It’s so easy to relate with her and what she’s going through. Decisions, grow up, and responsibilities, all that while trying to please her dad. But what happens when you realize you haven’t been enjoying life the way you are supposed to? Are you willing to sacrifice your dreams for what others expect from you? This is one of the things that make her create a list and not the one like when you go grocery shopping *winks* you guys know what I’m talking about. Enters Liam Zander *starts fanning herself* F1 racer, one of the best but with a criticized imaged. This Romeo has a fame of being a heart breaker with one night stands and a rule of not becoming attached to anyone, but then he meets Sophie..will he be able to remain friends with her while trying to cross off every item on that list? The banter and push and pull between both of them, plus the steamy scenes are FIRE and I’m sure you’ll be glued to your seats because damn, the author sure knows what she’s doing.
Do yourself a favor, READ THIS BOOK. Because, what’s better than racing, hot guys, and a LOT of action? (and I’m not talking about the one on the racing pit)
Liam. Liam. Liam. He‘s one of the biggest reasons why I wanted to read this book so much and he was fantastic even though slightly dumb sometimes.
He‘s hot, passionate and of course makes mistakes like every human being but in my opinion its something that makes him so freaking loveable even when he didn‘t realize what he was missing.
Sophie also is a great character. She‘s strong and doesn‘t want to disappoint her father. Which I find admireable.
The book was really angst. Sometimes during reading it I wanted to scream because both characters where being sooo freaking stubborn and I just wanted them to finally get together. But I understood both their reasonings for taking it slow.
I enjoyed this book alot. Sadly I found it a little too long at some points. But nonetheless it was a good book and a great way to portray Sophie and Liam which we fell in love with in book 1.

This book will steal your heart faster than any F1 car ever could!
‘Collided’ by Lauren Asher swept me off my feet in a storm of quirky, joyous, and lovable fun.
This is the second book in the ‘Dirty Air’ series, one that revolves around the life and scandalous f**k ups of F1 drivers and their respective strong-headed match.
This book is hilarious, inventive, and sure to steal your heart from the get-go.
An outstanding performance from the author of this incredible book that made me laugh, cry, and definitely want to hit the characters on their heads.
Liam is a nerdy and caring guy hiding behind a fake exterior and an even more fake life.
He also just so happens to be a hot Formula 1 driver that ranks up there with the best of the best.
He is funny, handsome and almost too charming for his own good, he knows how to have a good laugh and how to cheer someone up with his hilarious sense of humor and unpredictable personality.
He is more than a little bit broken, which sometimes leads to him being a completely blind and almost stupid man, but in the end, every shattered piece that constitutes this beautiful man is part of why you will fall for him so hard.
Sophie is a character in a completely different league. I already knew I’d love her from the first time she made an appearance in ‘Throttled’.
She is as quirky as she is sarcastic, a natural beauty that doesn’t even have to try, a genuine and lovely young woman who has a heart bigger than her whole being and has the habit of wearing it on the sleeve of one of her numerous and hilarious shirts.
She is the daughter of Bandini’s principal, so she’s been subject to the luxurious F1 lifestyle most of her life, but instead of letting it go to her head as most people do, she did the exact opposite. Growing up with a dad like hers and being surrounded by this world, has given her an understanding of what being part of it means and has rendered her a more down to earth gal but with balls bigger than any man there.
I loved the slow burn and angst of their relationship because despite having an attraction to each other that was almost magnetic and irresistible, they managed to become friends, first and foremost, before deciding to move on.
This story is extremely well written and super entertaining, every chapter felt like a new adventure was beginning and no matter what happened, I can’t say it ever disappointed me.
Their banter and back and forth are one of the best aspects of this book because no matter how serious things got, how out of control or scary, you were assured to still have a laugh even through your tears.
This book will have an incredible impact on every reader if you ask me.
Because not only is it hilarious and a one of a kind, but you will also have to go through a rollercoaster of emotions, to understand and see how these characters will overcome their greatest fears and allow themselves to open up to feel and to live life to the fullest, even if it means getting hurt a little bit.
This is a must-read if you love cocky F1 drivers, quirky but headstrong heroines that will deflate the drivers’ egos when necessary and an incredible love story that will light up even the darkest of skies.
5 CHECKER FLAG STARS!! I read this book like I was in a race….I could not put it down until the last word, waving a checker flag. Liam and Sophie story will have racing through the pages. The story is full of feels, sexiness, fast cars, drama and hot racers….what more can you ask for. I loved the race cars so different from the normal sports romance books. You should definitely read this book.
Liam and Sophie have such a close relationship as friends. Watching her come out of her shell a little and him begin to care about someone again made me root for this couple front the start.
Sophie is use to following the rules. She doesn’t want to disappoint her dad and is kind of living life going through the motions.
Liam is a broken guy who doesn’t want to feel that kind of pain again. Watching him struggle with himself and his decisions was so heartbreaking. He deserved so much goodness and was the only person holding himself back.
The craziness of the list, the vlog activities, and knowing something fishy was going on the whole time made this a fun read. I can’t wait to find out what happens to the other two boys in the F1 racing circuit!
-An Arc was generously provided in exchange for an honest review.-
Getting to watch Liam and Sophie fall in love and fight it just puts a smile on your face. They make you just want to jump into the pages and go along for the ride as they check off items on Sophie’s list.
And let me just say…Liam is hot AF but Sophie is my spirit animal!
I really liked this story, it was different and sexy! I read it in one sitting!
This is the story of Liam and Sophie, a second chance romance. They reunite after years they finally get a chance to develop a slow burn connection. It’s a complete emotional ride, one to challenge an F1 race. Their chemistry, their story, simply a book you want to read, and once you start you don’t want it to end. I wish to see them on audiobooks one day to experience the story again. I absolutely recommend it.
This is the 2nd book in this awesome series and is Sophie and Liam’s story. This is a beautifully written story which is a roller coaster journey from beginning to end. Liam is on a mission to redeem himself as his bad boy antics are having a negative effect on his image and especially his career. Sophie is the daughter of the principal of a rival F1 team, and the chemistry between them is combustible. No spoilers: this is a definite must read you will not be disappointed. This is a beautifully written story which fun, steamy, heartfelt, and all-consuming tale. I was totally enthralled throughout this slow burn romance and I highly recommend for all.
Collided might be the second book in the Dirty Air series but this story definitely doesn’t come in second place. Liam and Sophie’s story is not only fun, flirty and a little dirty it is emotional and completely captivating. These two have a chemistry that has sparks shooting off the pages. As your heart races, your pulse spikes and the finish line is in sight, Liam and Sophie will be on a collision course to win the ultimate trophy, each other’s hearts. There are plenty of bends, curves and a few pit stops along the way to keep you gripped to the pages as you fall in love with Liam and Sophie.
Wow what a fantastic book. I have always loved a good sports romance but sometimes it’s nice to get away from the traditional sports like baseball, hockey and football. In Collided we are thrust into the world of F1 racing. Sophie is the daughter of the principal (think coach) of a major team who meets Liam, a superstar driver for a competing team at a birthday party. Sparks fly between the two but nothing comes of it then. 3 year later and the two run into each other when Sophie joins her father for his season. Sparks are still there but Sophie has not interest in falling for the playboy. Unfortunately things don’t go according to plan.
This is the 2nd book in this series. I love how original these stories are. With great characters and fantastic writing. This is definitely what I would call a slow burn. Holy heck is there some great buildup. The chemistry between Liam and Sophia jumps off the pages at you and you root for them the whole way and with a HEA that will make you swoon. I cannot get over the extended epilogue I hope it is hinting at some 2nd generation stories because yes please! First I know Jax and Santiago have books coming up and I cannot wait for those!
**I did receive a free advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for my fair and honest review**
Oh man, I loved Throttled, but Collided just blew that out of the water. Liam and Sophie are addictive, captivating and so much fun! I DEVOURED this story in a matter of hours, once I started, I couldn’t put it down and I was completely sucked into the F1 racing world once again.
Liam is lost and broken, but there is much more to him. He just needs someone to bring that side out. Sophie is sassy, fun, strong and she just wants to experience life, hence her list. A list she didn’t expect anyone to see but her, especially Liam Zander. The chemistry between the two was off the charts! There is no denying the heat factor between them. Their story was so much deeper and emotional than I expected.
The growth of Liam from Throttled, to the start of Collided to the end of Collided was astronomical. The more we got to know him as readers the more you love him and just feel for him. He comes across as a player and cocky and he is early one, but his layers start to unravel. Sophie even grew throughout the story, though not as much as Liam. I loved that their story took you all around the world.
The world and the characters that Lauren Asher has created is addicting. Collided is a MUST READ so buckle up and get ready for a wild ride!
