My job is to secure a Formula 1 contract deal while avoiding bad press. I didn’t foresee Sophie Mitchell threatening my plans, tempting me to corrupt her, one naughty bucket list item at a time. For her reputation and mine, I should stay away, but I can’t deny the pull I have toward her. What happens when our teasing turns into more? Sophie started a game she can’t win, and damn if my victory … and damn if my victory won’t be the sweetest one yet.
Creating a naughty bucket list gains Liam Zander’s attention, solidifying a destined-for-failure friendship.
He draws me in with his seductive promises, hidden persona, and unattainable heart. I broke my biggest rule, unwillingly adding a new item to my list while shattering my heart–and friendship–in the process.
Our love story isn’t written in the stars. How can it be when Liam is a black hole, sucking me in and leaving nothing behind?
Collided is a standalone romance packed with action, steam, and banter.

A friends to lovers intermixed with F1 racing love story. Liam and Sophie’s love story takes you all over the world and what a perfect time to take a world trip while we are quarantined.
Lauren Asher plucks at your emotions with her world tour love story. This couple checks off a bucket list full of fun and naughty items which makes this a journey worth reading.
Liam and Sophie set out to complete a list of items while staying firmly in the friendzone, while Liam competes in the F1 racing world. This season he found himself in hot water and he needs to keep his image clean and he found the perfect partner in Sophie. While he would rather drag her to his bed, she turns out to be the perfect distraction he needs to keep his image clean because Sophie has friend zoned him hard and for the first time in a long time he is really enjoying himself out of the sheets.
Sophie is working with her father (for the opposition team vs Liam) and she’s promised her father that she will behave while on the road during this racing season. She knows Liam and his playboy history, so when he comes on to her at the first party of the season, she is prepared, but that still doesn’t make her promise to her father any easier. Liam eventually concedes to be friends, just enjoying the time in her company, which Sophie is happy for his free spirit to help cross things off her bucket list. As it turns out keeping him as a friend is the best call and the more time she spends with him the more she values his friendship.
As the season wears on and they grow closer it becomes harder to keep their just friends status and friends with benefits finally gets thrown in the mix. What could that harm…right? They are consenting adults and know the stakes. Nothing could happen when they both know there is an ending date, that is until they both collide into feelings, which isn’t in the cards for either of them. This F1 season will end and they both have lives to get back to and big responsibilities that they need to comply with.
This book was fun, but also full of tough emotions. This was my first Lauren Asher book and I know it won’t be my last.
A heartwarming and funny book you don’t want to miss.
Not going to lie, I didn’t know what to expect. This book follows Liam and Sophie, Liam being a Formula 1 race car driver and Sophie being the daughter of a crew principal. This is the first time I have ever read a F1 related book or race car book, at least the legal kind, and I enjoyed it immensely.
I could not put this book down. So witty and full of humour, an explosive chemistry that oozes sexual tension from the first page till the last. Heartache that will pull at your heart strings and tender heart warming moments to put it together again. Full of adventure about self discovery, grief and dealing with your past, pain and vulnerability and acceptance, it has it all.
Amazing characters. Sophie is such a sassy, witty, headstrong character that you can’t help but admire and fall in love with her. Her battle to fight her attraction is admirable and shows her true strength but also the decisions she makes especially at the end. Being able to stand and face your biggest heartache with your head held high is inspiring when many would crumble. Liam, you just can’t help but love him. While battling with wanting to shake some sense into him you can’t help but also empathise with what he goes through and has gone through. Both go through a steady pace of character growth and their personalities and characteristics are so well balanced and thought out it made for a smooth and interesting read, while also making it easy to connect with them.
Such great world building. Vivid imagery which makes you see a clear picture of where you are and what’s around you. You truly feel transported into the book. It was captivating and relatable. I just loved this so much.
This book is book 2 of the Devils air series however it can be read as a stand-alone!!!
