Colel, the Goddess of Bees, has been looking for Mr. Right for over seventy thousand years. So when she meets the hunky owner of a small-town flower shop and explodes with flutters and tingles, she’s almost certain that he’s the one.
Only two problems: her tiny black-and-yellow army suddenly won’t let her anywhere near him, and…is that a freaking epinephrine pen in the fridge? “Dear gods! He’s allergic to bees? Say it isn’t so.”
If simply dating the guy will kill him, how will she ever know for sure if he’s really the one?
Colel has a solution, but it’s drastic. Even for her. And what if he says no?

When I started reading I couldn’t put it down.Mimi Jean Pamfiloff is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can’t wait for the next book.
Mimi Jean’s stories are always entertaining and Colel is no exception!
I admit that I had no idea how Mimi was going to pull this one all together. Rys can’t seem to stand bees and they’re the whole purpose of Colel’s existence. Never mind the fact that Rys seems to hate her! Oh yeah, and the bees don’t like anyone who would take Colel’s attention away from them.
It’s just all a disaster! But Colel soldiers on and with Mimi’s excellent writing, she might just get her happy ending.
By the way, there are definitely some twists you won’t see coming. If I could give this 10 stars, I would. As it is, I’ll give it 5 stars!
Loved it! I’m so happy Bees got her own book cuz I didn’t much care for her in the accidental series but this book gave me a better appreciation for her and her mannerisms. She’s not trying to be rude, she just didn’t get much practice socializing with her overprotective hive.
And Rys? I could not believe the actual back story that he came with! Never would’ve guessed in a million years! I love that even though I’ve read almost all of Mimi’s books, she still keeps me guessing with these original plot lines.
Definitely recommend this book, this series, and all her other books. You won’t be disappointed.
OMG I loved this one! Bees have a special place in my heart and have been facing a lot of struggles lately so I’ve been looking forward to Colel, Goddess of Bees story.
Colel is in the tiny town of Crested Butte Colorado, checking the local hives and trying to help her tiny subjects when she happens across handsome florist Rys. She is instantly attracted to him the only problem: Rys is severely, deathly allergic to her beloved bees AND seems to hate her with a passion! Not to bee deterred, Colel hatches a plan to have Rys made immortal so that she can pursue him without fear of him dying from the stings of her little minions who have decided they DON’T want to share her with him!
Oh Colel, you are too funny!!! I loved Colel’s story. Colel is lonely and gets that tingly feeling when she meets a man, so she gets excited that he might be her mate. However, things do not go as planned. First of all, he’s a big grumpy face, second, her bee’s hate him, and third, he’s allergic to bee’s. So what’s a girl to do? Obviously, talk very inappropriately, stalk him, and get killed a few times.
To top it off, Brutus is acting all kinds of strange. He’s creeping Colel out with how different he’s acting. But it’s adorable how much her bee’s love Brutus.
And Chuck……Chuck cracked me up and every time I saw a bee outside today I called it Chuck.
We get to see some familiar faces and get to hear more about what’s happening with our other favorite characters. We are left wanting more and I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens next, and also I’m mad at you Minky, that’s not nice!!!
