This was a really good book. I loved both Dev and Misha, and I enjoyed their road from rivals to lovers. Each man had a wonderful skating partner and friend to turn to for advice and encouragement. I liked that there was still some competitive tension even after Dev and Misha became a couple. I would have liked a glimpse into how they were treated when the world found out about them, but I enjoyed the story a lot just as it was written. This was an interesting and engrossing story, and I loved the romance that grew between Dev and Misha.
I can’t even begin to describe how good this book was! It kept me up until 3am, so that should speak for itself!
An enemies to lovers, scorching hot story with political background and amazing emotions in full detail. I loved both the MCs and how the author did not hesitate to show both their strenghts and flaws. A very honest book and I must say that the competition shows description was flawless!
I love Keira Andrews books because she always created charming characters, with emotions so intense that you could feel them through the pages. Misha and Dev struggled with their coming out after falling in love and their story is not only cute and sweet but also full of hope, courage and determination. Easy to read, low angst endearing love story, as good as any other written by this amazing author. Wonderful reading!
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
Golden love
I’d like to start by saying that Misha and Dev are hot enough to melt ice! Whether they were fighting, kissing or more, it was passionate and sexy. I love enemies to lovers and these two made for some extra fun and smoking hot scenes. Also, I’d like to share that Bailey is hilarious and an amazing best friend. Dev is lucky to have her in his life.
“Being with you is like a dream I never knew I had.” Happy, happy sighs. Dev and Misha should have been partners on the ice. With their explosive chemistry, it would have been an unforgettable show. I really liked seeing the transformation of watching Misha go from from standoffish Mikhail to the softer but demanding Misha. I liked how protective Dev was of Misha. Add in all of their regular emotions and expectations from outside life combined with all the emotions generated during professional and competitive skating, this was an engrossing read. Two very strong characters who will grab you by the heart and take you along for an intense ride.
Dev,the American against Mikhail, the Russian. Natural born enemies, so to speak…until they’re not enemies anymore.
is the beautiful story of going from fierce competition to fierce love. I loved Dev and Mikhail’s passion, whether they invest it in skating, in hating and eventually, loving each other. But,in their world, they can’t be gay and they definitely can’t be together. For them, coming out could have disastrous consequences, and I was curious to see how the author would solve this problem.
And while I absolutely enjoyed the romance between Mikhail and Dev,I also liked being witness to the huge amount of work behind a figure skating program, the training regiment, the camaraderie, the friendship and antagonism behind the scenes.
Amazing book, recommended.
