What happens when an FBI agent falls for the daughter of the most notorious spy in US history? Discover the explosive chemistry in this non-stop action Romantic Suspense!Physicist Scarlett Stone is the daughter of the most notorious Russian spy in FBI history. With her father dying in prison, time is running out. Using a false identity, she gains access to the Russian ambassador’s Christmas … ambassador’s Christmas party, searching for evidence to prove her father’s innocence.
Former Navy SEAL, now FBI Special Agent, Matt Lazlo, is instantly attracted to Scarlett but when he discovers she lied to him about her identity, he hunts her down with the ruthless efficiency he usually reserves for serial killers.
Not only does Scarlett’s scheme fail, it puts her in the sights of people who reward unwanted curiosity with brutality. The FBI—and Matt—aren’t thrilled with her, either. As the agents involved in her father’s investigation start dying, and the attempts to stop Scarlett intensify, Matt and his colleagues begin to wonder. Could they have a traitor in their midst?

Another hit in the Cold Justice series by Toni Anderson! Psychological thrillers with a side of romantic suspense are my all time faves. Predictably, last night, after crawling into bed to read “just one more chapter,” (cough, cough) by the time I shut down my Nook it was well into the wee hours. Also, predictably, I heard all sorts of noises last …
This series keeps getting better and better. Cold Light of Day is a smart fast-paced suspense full of political intrigue and confirms that the Cold War is not over. Scarlett Stone naively tries to clear her father’s name by going up against the Russian spy who put him in jail in the first place. Her intentions may have been well intentioned, …
I read book 1 and really liked it. I decided I should save the rest of the series and only read one occasionally. That was dumb. Life’s too short to save good books when you can read them now. So I binged, reading 9 books in 16 days. It was glorious. I especially enjoy how the main characters from book 1 become supporting characters in book …
Book 3 in the Cold Justice series is one a top contender for my fave stories I’ve read this year. I loved that this book hopped into the political thriller genre. It had spies and secret agents and dirty politicians and everything you could ever want in a good book. I loved the meet cute. I loved the daughter hell bent on clearing her fathers …
This is the third book in the Cold Justice Series, a romantic suspense and FBI Thriller. This is a standalone novel in the Series. Scarlett and Matt’s story is suspenseful, action packed, thrilling, and captivating. They are both great characters. This story is a great addition to the Series. Eric G Dove did an outstanding job with the narration. …
COLD LIGHT OF DAY is the third book in the Cold Justice series. While the bad guys are unrelated, the good guys (the FBI agents) work together and it is becoming more important to know the past relationships.
I love Scarlett’s nerdy sexy persona and even more so I love that she doesn’t know how sexy she is just because of how sheltered she was …
This one was interesting on how Scarlett and Matt met. So many twist and turns.
I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Let me start by saying this is an awesome series, full of mystery, romance, action and mayhem. This third book is no exception. Betrayal, violence and greed are the centerpiece, making you wonder who the bad guy(s) are. Don’t miss this, the audio is excellent as is the hard copy. Top of your listen list.
Great Audio book. I was lucky enough to have gotten this Audio book from the author. I am volunteering to leave this review. Awesome book plenty of action and suspense. Plus a happy ending.
A physicist and a Navy SEAL-turned-FBI-agent? Yes, please! I love the nerdy heroine, hot/tough guy trope with all my heart. Add in Russian spies, scorching hot chemistry, and plenty of twists, and you have a winner. I really liked the first two books in the series–all of which can stand alone–but this is my favorite so far. Can’t wait to read …
**Five “This is it, Scarlett. That whole love at first sight cliché? We’re it. Living proof. It’s going to take a while to figure out the mechanics of us being together, but don’t doubt the sentiment. I love you. That isn’t going to stop. Ever.” Stars**
