First time reading Author I liked the story of guessing who was guilty-good story idea & interesting read. Few flow issues and did get tired of hearing about the axe & cut hand- so many ways to have cleared that up in the story instead it seemed like page filed repition honestlymaybe because I listened as an audiobook.
I enjoyed enough I’ve …
Took me a bit off guard but I read the whole book and was glad I did. not an easy book, painful to read at times but worth it.
Good relatable story of a parents worst nightmare and the race to end it.
This book got my attention at the very beginning and held it all the way through. Couldn’t put it down!
Couldn’t put it down
This book was hard to put down at times but in some places it felt like one of those long letters we see for sales pitches. The story was good, but the plotting against the parents in the background became tedious. Too much focus on the parents and too little about the child’s experiences.
Characters in this book was great. Enjoyed that it kept you wondering, who was guilty and what was going to happen. Would definitely read more by this author!
I was about half way through it but I just couldn’t get into it. It’s too slow.
Too much detail. Found myself skipping forward to move on with the plot. Life history of every character was way too much unnecessary and boring information. Waste of my time.
Really good story however, a portion of the plot dealing with the death-row inmate seemed a little too contrived. Well worth reading though and I will probably read again in the future.
OK. Not great but good. How many have you read of this type? That is how much you will enjoy it.
Rick Mofina is a great writer – he keeps you on the edge of your seat. A real page-turner!
Love this book for the most part the ending was a little bit unrealistic other than that it was great definitely worth reading
I enjoyed the suspense and characters. It was a quick read because I couldn’t put it down.
A little too predictable
Great book. Keeps you guessing right up until the end.
I couldn’t put this down! I want to read more books like this!
Kept me interested.
I had a problem putting this book down. I just couldn’t stop reading. What is going to happen next. You feel like you are there. It is a real nail bitter. What on earth is going to happen next. I highly recommend this book.
One of the best I have read in quite some time.
