This series is getting better and better, this book drew me in from the very beginning. The writing is excellent, it builds up the suspense again and again.
The characters are awesome the women are strong and hard headed. The story is intriguing and full of action and adventure . It has twists and turns and I loved it I felt I was there with them. I Recommend this series.
2nd book in the Lost and Found Inc series. I read the first book in the series a while ago and just jumped right back into its world with this. The guys are hot and heroic, with flaws and hangups. Just the way I like ’em. The girls are feisty and whilst in bother they are no damsels in distress.
Ty deals with the jungles of Colombia and the drug cartels while searching for his so-called contact who went off half-cocked in her need for revenge. Ana, said contact, has some very good reasons for wanting the cartel head honcho dead. Ty and Ana are great characters, both have you cheering for them and wanting to slap them in equal measure, a sign of an involving read!!!.
The sparks (and bullets) are flying and with the action and adventure come a cast of great characters!!!
It’s nice to see the characters from the first book involved. No spoilers but thank you Jerrie for not ending Diablo, I nearly cried at what the animal was trained to do!
Cold Day in Hell is one hot action adventure in the jungles of Colombia. Wild and dangerous best described the exciting plot of this latest in the Lost and Found series.
Tyrell (Ty as he likes to be called these days) was sent to Colombia to blow up a drug lord’s manufacturing plant. Should have been a easy job but when his contact who is suppose to supply with him with the explosives get’s herself kidnapped by the drug lord the mission changes to a rescue operation.
Ana has had one goal for most of her life, to kill the man responsible for slaughtering her family and leaving her for dead. Her need for revenge made her abort the mission with Ty. When Ty rescues her she isn’t all that happy to go with him as she didn’t succeed in killing the man that changed her life forever.
The majority of this book is spent in the Columbian jungle and its not just the human predators that Ty and Anna have to look out for. The author’s realistic description of the climate and nasty, deadly creepy crawlies that can be encountered in the middle of the jungle made you feel like you were sweating and ick’ed out by the snakes and spiders right along with Ana.
We got a big glimpse of Ty in the first book and know he is very loyal to his friends and needs to always save the girl (even if she doesn’t want to be saved). He’s also a loner that’s never had love other than with the friends of Lost and Found whom he’s known since college. Ana is also pretty gun shy when it comes to caring for someone in the romantic sense. It’s almost a foreign concept to her since revenge has been such a big part of her life for so long. These two fought their feelings for a good chunk of the book and it was funny that the one telling Ty he was being an idiot was the king of brooding Marcus who was the main secondary character in this book and whose story is next.
I thoroughly enjoyed taking the adventure during this book with Ty and Ana and looking forward to more thrilling escapades from the future books in this series.
