Excellent story
Reading stories with serial killers can be jarring at times. But I like what Tami Hoag does with this story, in that one of the victims survives and leads us along on her journey to track down the killer with twists and turns that keeps us guessing all along the way. I like the way she wove other subplots into the main story.
Did not want to put it.down!
A most excellent book. I couldn’t put it down. I figured everything out but it’s anything but predictable. The characters are very well-developed and the story told with much skill. I will have to read more of her books.
Enjoyed this book. Kept me guessing till the end.
This is my first Tami Hoag book. She was recommended by my brother, who gave me a couple of her books along with J.D. Robb’s. I found the story to be a page turner, the further into it I got, the more I needed to continue. The closer I came to finishing, the more astonished I was…I didn’t expect the conclusion. Great read.
Love the authors twists.
Great read
PTSD is a terrible thing. So are serial killers. Dana is the victim of both. This book brings Dana back to her home town and questions about her missing best friend. Tough book. But a page turner.
Brain injured protagonist and supporting character as well as the author’s accomplished writing style set this book above many of its competitors in this crowded genre. Nevertheless, it just didn’t have the spark of greatness for me.
Tami Hoag has my attention!
This book was a great read. As i read this book i changed my mind who the killer was three times. The story kept me riveted and o couldn’t put it down, especially at the end. Loved it!
I love Tami Hoag’s books.
A Very good book very exciting to read I couldn’t put it down .
A great read.
Tami Hoag always satisfies. Her plots have thrills and chills yet are satisfying like a fireplace with a blaze in winter. I find myself re-reading them if a new one isn’t on hand.
Love all of her books
You have to read the 9 th girl to appreciate cold cold heart, with a character who has been thru the fires of hell and has survived.
Excellent twist on the plot and main character
How many books are written from the perspective of a brain-damaged survivor of a sexual sadist? ‘Nuff said?!
