I really like this story. It has some really good unique and different aspects. I was frustrated with Tucker and while he wasn’t the good guy, he did have a few redeeming qualities. I loved Finn and as with all good guys there were a few things that I would have preferred, such as the ten year gap and the willingness to believe something that he should have questioned more. The same things are also true for Liv. This was easy to read, had good flow, great character depth and believability. Very enjoyable.

I absolutely loved this romance. What an amazing plot this book has, it’s funny, and utterly charming all the way through! The twist and turns keep you turning the pages. It is full of drama, mystery, and romance. I like the strong yet vulnerable characters. The setting and support characters are perfect. The author did a good job with the story line and keeping the readers interest. I’m looking forward to the next book from this author.
A deep, emotional love story that comes from the opportunity for a second chance at love. The story has all the feels of a good second chance romance. You have romance – some of it steamy, humor, great characters with good chemistry, a little bit of drama, and a story line that’s entertaining and fun to read.

This was an enjoyable second chance at love romance. The characters were complex and well developed. The story was a little confusing at first until enough of the back story was revealed. Also do no understand how the title fits. Would have liked to see Tucker reap the consequences of his actions.
Finn Wakefield, rich business owner, has bought the company his ex Liv Prosser and his former arch rival Tucker Acheson work at. For most of this book you feel like you are holding your breath as things dont add up & when they see each other again Finn realizes that all these years some one was trying to keep them apart. I liked that it held your breath but you laughed out loud at the same time especially the team building exercises

I loved this story. It kept me engaged from the beginning to end and I immediately connected with the characters. This is a second chance romance, which is one of my favourite tropes. The characters are real, good together and have amazing chemistry. Also the romance and drama was perfect for this book and will have me picking up the next book by this author. Happy reading!!
Some people are just mean and vindictive. There is a way to show someone that you love them without hurting them. Tucker did not wrap his head around that at all. He was deliberate and hurtful and just did not care enough to correct his mistake. Finn, on the other hand, was honest and double checked info before he did everything. He had good intentions for her despite all the negative history. This book was really good. Teaches you about trust, honor and respect, something that Tucker should have learned.

Delightful and Refreshing. What a fresh, witty, entertaining book this was. I thoroughly enjoyed it. A great storyline laced with great character development which allows the reader an insight into the heroes’ feelings and nature. That in itself enables one to form an appreciation as to which direction the storyline goes. There is intrigue and jealousy. I mustn’t forget those. The book has a HEA, which all lovers of romance books expect to have. This book delivers on intelligent conversation, refreshing honesty and an underlying heat that exists between Liv and Finn but is never abused. The book is therefore suitable for younger adults too. I would happily read any further works from this author. The editing and proof-reading efforts were quite good, give or take the odd word omission, which is all too easy to miss. Liv and Finn are both very likeable characters and one can’t help but root for them to find their way back to one another.

Technologist Olivia Prosser ended things badly with Finn. So when Liv and her friend Tucker attend a retreat after the company they work for is purchased by Wakefield Enterprises, she hopes to repair some of the damage she did the last time they saw one another. Wakefield Enterprises CEO Finnegan Wakefield’s day just got more complicated when he found out former nemesis Tucker and ex-lover Liv will be at the retreat. Finn doesn’t trust Liv and needs an objective assessment about how much risk Liv poses. Will this be a disaster in the making or a second chance at love?
Cold and Hottie is a funny, sweet and steamy story full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the end
