Mackenzie “Kiki” Forbes finds herself in a pickle. Either become her snarky sister’s nanny, or move halfway across the country to work as assistant-to-the-stylist of a country music star. Neither job sounds ideal, although bedazzling cowboy boots may be a hell of a lot more interesting than ironing her brother-in-law’s underwear. But life on the road as the errand coffee girl for a sold-out tour … sold-out tour leaves much to be desired. That is, until Kiki meets her sinfully sexy new boss’s boss…
Tatum Reed’s career is flying high. He’s up for country music’s Entertainer of the Year and he’s headed out on a nationwide sold-out tour. So why does he feel like it’s all about to implode? His superstar ex-girlfriend seems determined to make his life difficult, his opening act is a handful, and the new girl on his tour, the feisty brunette, is quickly getting under his skin. In this crazy world of showbusiness Tatum needs to learn who he can trust, but that doesn’t come easily, because the one person who holds all the cards may just throw them down and walk away.
Life in the public eye is never all it’s cracked up to be, which has both Kiki and Tatum questioning what they’re really doing with their careers, and their hearts.
REVIEWS
“This book hits all of my contemporary romance buttons: hot sex, adorable banter, a fun supporting cast, gleeful highs and heartbreaking lows. There were several moments when I wanted to smack Kiki upside the head, but love can make even the smartest among us into idiots at times, and I couldn’t fault her for those moments.
Coffee Girl got this reviewer out of a weeks-long reading slump. If you’ve ever been in one of those, you know it takes a certain kind of read to get you out of it. This book did it for me. Five enthusiastic, rhinestone-studded stars.” -Colleen Vanderlinden

Coffee Girl and Tater Tot’s love story is one of my all time favorites! From first to the last page, from writing to the characters in it, this book was perfect and I loved every single thing about it.
I loved how funny, goofy, beyond adorable and real Kiki’s character is. I loved how thoughtful, kind and sometimes even cocky Tatum is. I couldn’t get enough of them! They were both amazing characters and I fell in love with them right from the start.
Reading those first interactions between them had me laughing like crazy. Kiki was hyperventilating every time she was around Tatum, blabbering nonsense, blushing like crazy and when they finally got together I thought my heart was going to melt from how adorable together they are. Chemistry between them was really undeniable!
I haven’t read many books with secondary characters that are equally amazing as the main ones, even those that were really mean were hilarious in their own way and made this story even more perfect for me. Kiki’s best friend TJ was hilarious, I LOVE him! Friendship between her cat Oreo and their driver Stan-too adorable! And that song Tatum has written for Kiki… Gah! I have no words!
I think I found my new favorite author and I’m so excited to read more from her.
I cannot recommend this book enough! It’s an understatement to say that I just loved it and I CAN’T wait to read Sarah and Lex’s book, The Make Up Artist, can’tcan’tcan’t wait!!
Coffee Girl is an absolute gem Sophie Sinclair has an amazing debut and I absolutely can’t wait for more from her!
4.25/5 stars!
Fired from her job and not wanting to become a nanny to her sister’s family, the heroine asked her brother for help in finding a job…as the assistant to the wardrobe stylist for a country band, or basically as the “coffee girl”. The nickname was given by the hero, the lead singer of the country band, when the two first met. And thus began a relationship full of attraction, respect, laughter, and trials as exes, misunderstandings, and employer/employee troubles try their best to obstruct the couple’s happiness.
I enjoyed the majority of the story, especially as the story is told by both the hero and the heroine. I liked the heroine and how strong yet vulnerable she is, and that she goes for what she wants. I also like the hero, but I did want a chapter from the hero’s view when the couple first met and their first time spending time together. What I didn’t like was a certain event at the beginning that the hero went through, though it really isn’t a deal breaker in my eyes. Overall, I did like the couple and some of the other characters, character flaws and all.
The author’s writing style is pleasing to read, making the story flow effortlessly. I look forward to reading more of the author’s books about this series, especially as the next book features the makeup/hair stylist and another member of the country band.

This was such a fantastic book. Being from Nashville and seeing it play out in this book was such a fun experience.
Kiki is trying to make it as a stylist and ends up as an assistant to a stylist. She is just trying to start her life, but her dreams of being out on her own will have to wait until she gets settled.
Tatum is a country music star. He has everything he could ever want, but looks aren’t what they seem.
These two together have such a cute banter and relationship. The coffee girl, to friends, to lovers aspect will have you rooting for them the entire time. I also loved getting glimpses of the secondary characters’ stories. It added just enough mystery that has me wanting their stories immediately.

It’s not a suprise by now that I love rockstar romances and books about artists going on tour, add in the country flair and I was completely sold! So when I heard about this one, I was super excited to dive in. And it was such a fun and sweet one and I really enjoyed it.
I fell for Tatum’s charm and his beautiful green eyes just like Mackenzie did. And I loved watching him fall head over heels in love with her. I loved their banter and they way they got to know each other and worked their way into a relationship. And his nickname for her, Coffee Girl, had me swooning.
I adored some of the side characters, specially Sarah and I am super excited for her and Lex’s book. I am super intrigued about the guy and what his story is and even more so about them together after reading the first chapter of their book at the end of Coffee Girl.
You can count on all the sex, drama and lies that come with the spotlight but also all the swoon, the spark and the beautiful music that come with a sexy rockstar romance.
4.5 hilarious stars!
I really enjoyed this book. It was funny, witty with wonderful characters.
We meet Kiki that is recently unemployed, but she has other options laid out for her. She has a sister (that I was not very fond of) wants her to become a nanny, yet her brother gives her another offer. The proposal is to work as an assistant for the stylist of country music’s hottest singer.
Both options aren’t what she’s looking for, but between the nanny job and the assistant job she chooses wisely and moves to Nashville to be an assistant. Her first meeting with Tatum, the hot country singer star, is not very pleasant but she can’t deny his “hotness”.
Like most superstar/ rockstar trope, Tatum is putting up a front for his audience while behind the curtains things are less than perfect and he has an ex that is the devil and gives him hell.
But Tatum is drawn to Kiki and the more the pair share each other’s company, sparks fly. Tatum is drawn to Kiki and vice versa. However life in the public eye can be challenging, and eventually, Tatum will have to make choices that aren’t easy, but in the end, love conquers all.
I enjoyed this book and the overall chemistry between Kiki and Tatum.
Omg Sophie has a new fan! Omg this was such a great debut book! I couldn’t put this down!
I am a big country fan, so reading about them in a romance book is just the best. I loved Tatum and the whole band. I am so excited for the rest of this series.
Kiki was so cute. I loved how she was so real and down to earth. She just needed to find her place in life. Little did she know that place was in the world of country music.
Her and Tatum were just so adorable. Like I said, I loved everything a out this book. Such a wonderful start of the series.
Sophie, you now have a reader for life dear!

Sophie Sinclair with her debut her novel Coffee Girl nailed it. She penned a great rom-com with the love story of Tatum and Kiki. This story was super cute and I really enjoyed Sophie’s writing style. She made the characters loveable and the flow was just right. The secondary characters will have you wanting more. I look forward to more from this author as she knocked her first book out of the park.
Coffee Girl was such a fun read! Kiki is an everyday girl with dreams of being a stylis. Tate is the hottest country singer. What could possibly happen when Kiki ends up working for Tate???? Coffee Girl and Tater Tots! This had great characters, a good story line with some really great scenes. The fish market scene had me literally laughing out loud! I can’t wait to read Sarah and Lex’s story!
I found Coffee Girl to be a light hearting and fun read. I love the chemistry between Tatum and Kiki. Tatum may be a hot country star singer who can get any girl he wants, but he only has one girl in mind. Kiki moves to Nashville to work as an assistant to Tatum’s stylist, and finds herself falling for him. Kiki seems to have low self esteem and is always second guessing her true feelings or thoughts. Tatum helps her realize that she doesn’t need to be a celebrity to win him over, that he enjoys the fun, feisty girl she is.
Sophie Sinclair has developed a great set of characters with a lot of dept. I found it easy for me to relate to them and connect with their emotions. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
Sophie is a new to me author I loved this rom/com story! Tatum is a swoon worthy country singer on the road for his music tours.
Kiki is a beautiful soul, who in some parts reminded me a little of myself in her personality traits! An up and coming fashion stylist! Who ends up on tour with Mr green eyes god Look forward to more by this author
Classic but excellent romance
4.5
I liked this romance which is very well written, romantic and a little melodramatic sometimes. It’s simple, with a few twists, but the characters are very good, and well-built to feel their emotions.
Kiki is a stylist in a men’s magazine when she is fired. Her sister plans to exploit her, but she’s saved by her brother who finds her the job of assistant to a stylist of a country singer. She does not know him and she discovers that the man in which she bumped previously while she was carrying a tray of coffees some of which were spread out on her t-shirt, is none other than Tatum, the celebrity that she will also have to attend with his group. Everyone feels a certain attraction, but for her, nothing will happen because she thinks she is too common, and he don’t want her to suffer from his media torments of the country music world with his false manipulative ex-girlfriend. An ocean separates them and they do not know if they are going to try to build a bridge.
Full of heart and humor
Coffee Girl (Coffee Book 1) by Sophie Sinclair is an exceptionally well written romantic comedy that often had me grinning and laughing out loud. I fell in love with the characters in this book right away, and not just the leads! Although Kiki and Tatum are truly wonderful, with a great connection and steamy chemistry that neither can resist, what really makes this book is the plot, how Kiki and Tatum meet all the way through to their HEA. Not to mention all the supporting characters. One in particular had me in stitches.
It’s not all hearts and roses for these two, there’s plenty of antagonism and antagonists to wreak havoc in their budding relationship. The connection these two have is too strong to stay apart and at a certain point they just don’t want to fight it anymore. While the situation is dire for Kiki, she needs this job with Tatum’s tour, Kiki quickly becomes his muse and he’s happier that he can ever remember being. It’s truly a great love story with the added benefit of great rom-com writing.
Overall an excitingly entertaining romantic comedy with characters that will have you laughing loud, cursing the forces working against Tatum and Kiki, and crying tears of pain as well as joy. The author’s style of writing is really engaging and captivating from the beginning all the way through to the bright and exciting HEA. And, there’s more to come and I cannot wait! I’m really excited about this author.
I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.
