This is a well written book with strong, well developed characters in Ethan and Juliet as well as little Luna. The author does a beautiful job bringing out the emotions in this fast paced action romance. I loved watching the relationship and bond form between Ethan and Luna as well as the chemistry and love between Ethan and Juliet. She brings drama, suspense and intrigue as well as the steamy passion and growing love. I loved reading and highly recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

Very entertaining 4 ½ stars – From the very beginning of the story, it was very interesting. The book was hard to put down. It never lets up on the excitement. Whether it’s the crime situation from Ethan’s job, steamy sex between Ethan and Julietta and the secrets being kept, the story was engaging. The side story on Viktor is intriguing. Little Moon is so adorable! This book makes me want to look up Ethan’s friends’ romance stories. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]
Fleeing, scared and with a baby Julie didn’t know what to do. Who to trust? But, alas! Luck was her! Surprisingly, FBI agent Ethan Thomas had two women to protect. Action, suspense, drama, tender scenes, corruption, Russian Mafia, violence, romance, passion and characters from previous books. Liked how the relationship between Ethan and Juliet developed and the friends’ camaraderie. Intrigued with Viktor and his were abouts. An interesting, entertaining and amusing story with a baby and family drama.
Codename Romeo, by Lucy Leroux, is the first book in her new Rogues and Rescuers series which is set in the same world as her Singular Obsession series. It is a complete standalone, however many characters from the other series show up, so it’s more fun to read the others. I received an ARC of the book so I won’t include spelling/grammar/continuity errors in my review as I expect them to be fixed before publication.
This book is a romantic action adventure story. Ethan, the hero, is definitely more rescuer than rogue and immediately jumps in to help a woman and her daughter even though he wants them out of his apartment building. Juliet, the heroine, is a single mother struggling to take care of her daughter. Ethan and Juliet slowly build a relationship built on trust, compassion and friendship. Ethan knows that Juliet is hiding some things from him, but he allows her to learn to trust him over time. There’s mystery and adventure to their story as well as human drama and a grounded romance. It’s a wonderful story.
This relationship is a slower build, but the plot does grow nicely around it. For those who’ve read the Singular Obsession books, you’ll enjoy seeing some of your past favorites. For those who haven’t read the first series, I guarantee you’ll want to read them once you get through this one. I also can’t wait to read the next books in this spin off series.
This is a safe read with no OW/OM drama and no cheating. There is some explicit language and sex in the book. There is also references to gun violence, so please be warned if that’s a trigger for you. I loved the book and definitely recommend it.

This was pretty good… Way too long in my opinion though. Seemed to drag on. There were a lot of good characters here though.

Ethan had no clue that when he went to get rid of Juliet, who was staying in his friends apart me he was helping remodel that his heart would get taken by this single mother and her adorable daughter. I loved how he had no clue what he was doing but still managed to work his way around it.
In this story you get love, laughter, and maybe even something they didn’t bargain for.

Four and a Half Stars
This was my first book by Lucy Leroux and I can say with certainty that it will not be my last. First of all, damn that cover……let’s just say that between that and the blurb I was hooked. I absolutely loved this book from start to finish. Ethan is a sexy as sin FBI agent, dedicated to his job and being a bachelor in equal measure. All that changes when he stumbles across a tiny pink Michelin man bundle teetering in his building’s hallway. He doesn’t stand a chance against her or her delightful mother Juliet. And that is where this story gets interesting. Juliet is not who she appears to be and neither is baby Luna, except none of that matters to the very smitten FBI agent who has made it his life’s mission to love and care for both. A fantastic read filled with suspense, intrigue, heat and most importantly love. TBR this great book and enjoy.

The romance in this book was pretty steamy. The overall story was interesting and full of suspense. And of course, the little girl, Luna, melted my heart alongside Ethan’s.

I absolutely loved this book! It had everything I enjoy. Drama, mystery, suspense, romance and plenty of steam. Add in an adorable baby girl interacting with an alpha FBI agent and I’m all in.
Ethan is left on his own to renovate an apartment building he has invested in along with his friends. He’s been trying to connect with the last remaining tenant but she keeps sidestepping him at every turn. But when he sees a toddler roaming the hall he finally gets a chance to meet the tricky renter. Unfortunately, she’s seriously ill and he finds himself taking care of not only her, but her little girl as well.
I love when a big, strong hero is swept up by a tiny human and that is exactly what Luna does with Ethan. She steals his heart big time even as her mother does the same. Ethan was everything I look for in a hero with his strong protective instincts, driving desire, and uncharacteristic jealousy. Watching him fall for both of these girls was fun, sometimes humorous, and heartmeltingly divine.
Juliet was a strong heroine, fiercely fighting to keep Luna and herself safe from a past that threatened them. While she had her moments of insecurity when it came to relying on Ethan, it didn’t take her long to realize he was what she needed. I loved that while she allowed Ethan to protect them, when push came to shove, she was more than capable of doing what needed to be done.
This is a fast paced read with some favorite characters from the Singular Obsession series as well as a few new ones. The chemistry between Ethan and Juliet was completely believable and filled with steamy goodness. While the mystery doesn’t hold a lot of mystery, this has a lot of suspenseful moments and plenty of outside drama.
I was totally floored by this book! Once I picked it up, I could not put it down. Ethan and Juliet were amazing, bright, determined, passionate characters whose interactions, banter, and intrenal dialog kept this book going at a rapid, breathtaking pace.
Ethan is an FBI agent who is also removing a building. During a dnowstorm, his last tenant, Juliet, gets deathly ill, and he must take care of both her and her infant (Luna).
While they are staying with Ethan, relationships build. He falls in love with Luna (and she adores him), and he also falls unquestionably for Juliet (she likewise). However, problems remain. Secrets have been kept, and while Ethan was understanding, both his girls are now in danger!
Ethan, being decorated at his job, has been working a massive Russian mafia/cartel case. But when his informant goes AWOL, trying to ensure ‘the girls’ stay safe, Ethan is not pleased. He knows some the massive cartel casualties have the informant’s name on them. But, he’s got other problems. BIGGER problems!
What kind of problems could be bigger than that? Not tellin’ – get Codename Romeo and find out. The constant action and twists will keep you guessing. Will Ethan get a HEA, or was his payment for helping a woman and her child nothing but a bleeding, broken, shattered heart?

This was a really good book. The story and the characters were very well written. The story drew me in and kept me interested until the end. I would highly recommend this read.

Give me a hero taking care of a baby girl and you’ve got me hook, line, and sinker. Especially since Ethan had no clue what he was doing and suddenly he’s taking care of a sick mom and baby girl. His learning curve was very entertaining but to see him fall for that little girl and how sweet he was with her made me so happy.
I think Ethan’s bachelor status in previous books made him less interesting to me as the other guys in this series. So I love that the author throw a curve ball his way that ended up bringing out such a sweet and caring man to fall for.
Juliet started out as a bit of a weak character, however the longer she was with Ethan, the more her confidence grew. She shed that weaker girl and became what I prefer to see in a heroine.
I like how the storyline forced these three to spend so much time together. My favorite part to any book is to see how a couple handles things together. I really enjoyed this couple and baby Luna.
