When ever there’s a kid involved and a guy who knows nothing and wants nothing to do with them but you see that change over time it just warms my heart. Ethan gave me a ton of deep sighs and oh my’s as he dealt with his learning curve. Luna and her antics, looks, attitude just cracked me up and felt like a true toddler taking control. The suspense and mystery worked out well and of course there was plenty of heat between these two. Now don’t get me wrong this author can get down and dirty with the best of them and provide hot and steamy action. While these two did go at it the author didn’t allow it to take over the story which settled me just fine. I can’t wait to see the guys go down one woman at a time. This is a great start to a new series one that this author will enjoy dishing out thrills and chills.
4 1/2 Stars
I liked the way cold, unfeeling FBI agent Ethan thawed, albeit reluctantly by meeting Juliet and baby Luna.
His abhorrence to children and relationships was revealed through in his POV, that showed his impatience, reluctance, and irritation with having to take care of his squatter like tenant and her baby.
As his emotions started to thaw, Juliet’s dangerous back story was revealed. His FBI ties also connected them together as they were thrust into danger.
I especially liked the way Juliet was strong, smart and resourceful. Always thinking on her feet, she was a worthy heroine for Ethan.

I have been dying for Ethan’s book since the very first time I met him. (I’m only a little grumpy that I had to wait this long to get it.) This book was so very worth the wait. Ethan is everything I thought he would be: caring, protective, and so darned sweet. He’s not perfect though. Like any of the rest of us, he’s just as prone to being a jerk as a sweetheart. I think Juliet’s a good match for him. She and Luna soften his rough edges and she’s willing to call him out when he needs it. I loved Juliet’s strength. And I really appreciated that the portrayal of Luna as a toddler seems fairly accurate and that she’s not written like a tiny adult. I can’t wait to read more in this series because there’s some delicious little breadcrumbs here that I want to see where they lead.

Audio Review:
Codename Romeo (Rogues and Rescuers, Book 1) is a entertaining storyline. My favorite was getting a viw of characters from A Singular Obsession Series which is a favorite of mine.
Marie Smith single narration would have been better if it was dual narration. Her inflection was fine just not my preference.
FBI Agent Ethan Thomas and his buddies have invested in a “fixer up” apartment building. When he is left to begin the work, he finds a tenant in the downstairs apartment. Julietta and her baby Luna have nowhere else to go and when she becomes sick, Ethan ends up taking care of her and Luna. He knows that there is more to Julie’s story and little by little she begins to trust him. I really enjoyed his character as he couldn’t do anything other than take care of them as they worked their way into his heart. Julie was doing the best that she could for her and Luna (who was so precious) as they tried to hide from danger. I am looking forward to the rest of this series involving those characters who were mentioned in this book. (paytonpuppy)
I absolutely love this hot, steamy, captivating book with exceptional characters in an erotic world that is so realistic it felt like I was on the journey with them. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author that knows how to captivate the attention of their readers
It was interesting to see how life can change in a second sometimes, right?
I loved the story and even the rhythm of action and non-action sequence.
The style kept me reading too.

Codename Romeo Lucy Leroux is the First book in the Rogues and Rescuers Series. This is the story of Juliet and Ethan. This is a spin off series from the A Singular Obsession Series, but with that said this was totally a standalone book. Ethan and his friends are remolding an apartment building where Juliet is hiding out in Ethan’s friend has told her she can stay but Ethan wants her gone. When he happens to go talk to her he see her for the first time and she is sick with her young daughter running around. Ethan ends up taking her in to get her well and helps her daughter. But what he isn’t expecting is that he won’t be letting them go.
I am such a fan of Ms. Leroux’s writing her books are a must read for me!
This was a great story by Lucy Leroux. Its book one in the Rogues and Rescuers Series. Ethan, an FBI agent is home and ready to relax. He is not expecting to find a child and her mother. Ethan and Juliet were simply amazing together. Once I began reading I could not stop. Watching Ethan take over with Luna while Juliet was sick was so sweet. Luna simply melted his heart. And he is quickly falling for Juliet too but he knows she is hiding something. Can he save Juliet and the little girl that has stolen his heart?

The first book in the Rogues and Rescuers series a well written story that kept me turning pages. FBI agent Ethan and single mother Julie and her adopted daughter Luna’s story of suspense, drama, kidnapping, danger, villains, and love. I want to read more in this series. I loved the sweetness of this book with steamy scenes and suspense thrown in. Lucy writes books that are hard to put down. Luna, the baby, was so sweet and I loved her stubborness. Watching the hero deal with her, was very funny at times! I hope to read more about Donovan and Riveria!

I liked the story
Had a lot of action
Would have been better if just read it.
Didn’t like that the narrator did Ethan’s thoughts in her female voice and that her attempts at the male voices weren’t good. A male narrator would have been better.
Overall a good read.
Entertaining story with a good mix of sweet and steamy. I wasn’t a huge fan of the premise, but I liked both characters and the bits of suspense added to the story. Listening with Audible was a good experience. The narrator did a good job; she had a nice tone to her voice. Recommend listening if you have the chance. Ethan is a nice guy with a sweetheart. Loved how protective and supportive he is of Julia and Luna. I liked Julia okay; she’s a bit too much damsel for my liking, but she has her moments of strength. Ethan and his friends have purchased an old apartment building that they are renovating for themselves. Julia and toddler Luna live in the last apartment left with tenants, but Ethan has been trying to get her to move so they can finish renovations. A snow storm and an illness get in the way of any plans of Julia finding somewhere else to live. Ethan ends up being a lot more involved in Julia and Luna’s lives than he ever expected, and Julia has some secrets that may prove dangerous. I wasn’t fully a fan of Julia dodging her landlords and how she came to live in the US, but the story does have some interesting elements that kept the story entertaining. Overall, a good story that has me looking forward to more!
This Book 1 in a Rogues and Rescuers series. I was given this book for an honest review.
Ethan is an FBI agent and looking forward to relaxing in his apartment. When he encounters a baby and then her mother in his hallway. Julie is in need of help and while he takes her in so she can recover, he helps out with the baby Luna.
As he helps them, he knows that Julie is hiding some secrets. He makes it his mission to find out and help her. I enjoyed this story line, fast paced, and well written romance. I love happily ever afters!!
This was an awesome read. I loved very minute of it. Can’t wait for Mason’s book but I’m hoping we’ll also get Donovan’s and even a book for Rivera.
I enjoyed every written word of this book. The author gave us well developed and engaging characters that have plenty of chemistry. Easy flowing storyline made it a great read.

Great start to a new series. This is seamless spin off from the author’s singular obsession series gives more depth to characters previously met in the other series and has cameos from the main characters of the other series which really pulls together the character relationships. The focus of this book is Ethan the FBI agent. He really gets more than he bargained for when he has a chance encounter with a tenant in his apartment building. Ethan and Julie’s story builds up nicely with lots of spice and action. I loved the way the characters blended and thought the story line was well written and very entertaining. I would definitely recommend checking this one out. I don’t believe you had to have read the other series before starting this standalone series, but I plan to go back and read the books I missed in the previous series. I look forward to the next book in this series.

I couldn’t put this book down. The storyline is great and the characters are well developed. I loved how protective Ethan was over Juliet and her baby. This is an entertaining story filled with intrigue, drama, suspense, violence, passion and a great ending. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
Ethan to the rescue.
Ethan becomes both an instant stand in papa to Luna and a caregiver and protector to her mother Julietta. He’s changing stinky diapers and checking out the hot mama.
Recommend.
