My Review
Wow what a Gripping psychological suspense thriller of a story !!!!
Looking for an amazing quick 5 read ? Then look no further.
This is my first time reading a book by this author. I liked the author’s writing style. The story is well written and easy to follow. I was able to easily picture the events as they happened. I found the story gripping, even as it took an unexpected turns. It totally caught my attention from page 1 and is every parents worst nightmare. It had me holding my breath several times. It is very fast paced and had me on the edge of my seat. This is far different from the normal kidnapping stories you read. I loved this authors different spin on it. I promise you this is not one you will very easy figure out .
I was hooked from the very first page. The well written story takes so many twist and turns, and even when you think you know what happened, Surprise another twist. The story was so vivid and real. I got so drawn into it that I tuned out the whole world around me, and before I knew it I turned the last page. There is plenty of drama, lies, betrayal and hidden agendas. I can very easily see this as a lifetime movie . you will like and hate some of the characters In this book. ( which is what you are suppose to do ) You promise you will not regret picking up this thrilling book. I Highly recommend it . I can’t wait to read more of this authors books.
I really enjoyed this book. The story was original and twisted in ways I did not expect. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the fact that Ms Stinson makes a fairly major story line error. She contributes a murder to one character when it was committed by someone else. The author should be able to keep her facts straight; she’s the one writing it, after all. Also, my other major issue was the amount of profanity Ms Stinson used. At one point I began to wonder if she had a quota for the number of vulgarities she was required to use. I just don’t understand the need for the rampant use of profanity. I’m not a prude by any means, but an author should have such a grasp of grammar that she can write the tightest, most intense scene without resorting to the lowest common language. As I have said about another author, I want to write and ask if she kisses her mother with that mouth; it’s that bad. I may check out another book from Ms Stinson, but if it has the same amount of profanity, I’ll sadly have to take her off my list. (Not that she’s going to lose any sleep over it! 🙂 )
