I’m not the same Bebe Grimshaw I was years ago. The woman I was spent years behind the bars of the highest security women’s prison in the nation, my punishment for hacking nuclear codes as part of a crime syndicate I’d gotten in way too deep with. The woman I am today doesn’t regret what I did, or the fact that I got caught, but I am remorseful for the years I lost with my son, Aaron. Released … from my sentence early thanks to Kynan McGrath, I joined his team at Jameson Force Security and now put my skills to use helping people.I’m just trying to get back a piece of what I lost, focusing solely on raising Aaron and my work at Jameson. As long as I have my son and my career, I’m content. But life has a funny way of letting you know exactly what you need, and when a devastatingly handsome stranger named Griffin befriends Aaron at the park, I have to consider I might be missing something. A part of me that was locked away long ago reawakens, and I find myself looking at Griff in a way I’ve not looked at a man in more than a decade.Just when I think things are starting to look up, my world is turned upside down. Turns out that meeting wasn’t an accident, and things aren’t going my way at all. Griffin Moore is the man sent here to kill me.

Code Name Hacker was my first Sawyer Bennett book, but it definitely won’t be my last. It’s a captivating story about Bebe Grimshaw. She is a brilliant hacker who got caught up in making easy money for a very bad man… this one mistake had her sacrificing herself to protect her son and her country. When she gets out of jail, she meets up with Griff who turns out to be the hit man hired to kill her. There was laughter, Intrigue and romance. I really enjoyed the book and I’m already looking forward to the next one.
Boy, do I love this series! The Jameson Group are just my kind of heroes and I love romantic suspense in all forms. Bebe and Griff were a great couple and I was pulling for their HEA throughout the book. Bebe is a hacker working for The Jameson group, based out of Pittsburgh. Griff is working undercover and is supposed to eliminate Bebe. And the story is off on its journey. I am such a fan of Sawyer Bennett and this story did not disappoint. If you have not started this series, this is a good standalone to see if you would enjoy more of these books.
It amazes me how well Ms. Bennett writes and the flow of the stories she creates. When I first started reading I didn’t like Griff very well. I was even thinking “how can Ms Bennett do this?” Then as I read on, I started seeing another side to him that I began to really like. I was so glad to see Bebe get her story. Some of the things I found out that that evil man she went to prison for did to her broke my heart. It is amazing how Bebe’s son is so well adjusted and mature. He is a sweetheart. I know Bebe loves in her way how protective everyone at Jameson is of her, even if they drive her crazy at times. She is such a strong and smart person. The story had me on the edge of my seat at times, and I didn’t want to put the book down. I loved the book and strongly encourage you to read it. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.
This series is super addictive and I’ve been anxiously waiting on this book. While it is not necessary to read the earlier books first, it is more enjoyable since the characters do make an appearance. Just when ex-con/hacker, Bebe, thinks that she’s put her past behind and has actually found a nice guy…she discovers that he’s there to kill her! That would surely put a damper on anyone’s libido. Except all is not as it seems. Can Bebe and the Jamison group take down the bad guy before he succeeds in having Bebe killed? Any more detail and I’d have to give spoilers! Lots of action and some steamy moments! Trust me, you’re going to want this book. Can’t wait to find out if The Jamison Group locates and rescues missing team member, Malik.
Narration team is on point! Definitely a re-listen for me!
That book cover plus that synopsis? I was dying to get my hands on Code Name: Hacker. Our hacker is Bebe Grimshaw, who we met in book 1 when the hero from that book, Kynan McGrath, who was then forming the elite Jameson Force Security. He recruited her from prison, and got her out ahead of her 35-year prison sentence.
Six months after leaving the high security women’t prison, Bebe, her son and her mom have settled in a little town just outside of Pittsburg. What Bebe doesn’t know is that someone from her past want to tie up loose strings and has sent someone to eliminate her. That someone is sexy and bearded biker Griffin Moore, who had decided the fastest way to get close to Bebe was befriending her 10-year old son Aaron.
The Code Name: Hacker is the fourth book in the Jameson Force series and it can be read as a standalone. This whole series is so entertaining and fun and every book was a page-turner. I basically read (via audiobook) Hacker in one sitting. I love the characters, the friendship/found family among the Jameson team, the different espionage-y jobs they have to pull–all super fun and keeps me at the edge and reading through the night. While Hacker isn’t my favorite (I just wish there wasn’t that twist on Griff’s characters about a quarter in), it was still a fantastic read! My favorite character was Bebe who I related to the most out of all the heroines so far in the series.
Like I mentioned, I read Hacker entirely via audiobook and it was excellent. Aiden Snow with his deep, manly man voice was perfect for Griff–I enjoyed his chapters just a bit more than I did Bebe’s chapters in terms of performance. I liked Savannah Peachwood’s Bebe too (I especially liked her boy voice for Aaron), but sometimes her inflections took me out of the story.
Overall, I recommend this series if you want a romantic suspense with a dash espionage and fun sexy times that you can read in one sitting. Hacker can be read as a standalone so feel free to pick it up whenever, but if you are reading the series in order there is an overarching story line and I can’t wait until the next book!
I have not read a book from this author I didn’t like but this one was the best. Bebe tugs at your heart because she is a single mother trying to make up for the mistake she made in her past. Her mother and her sons are top priority, however when she meets Griff things change. She begins to think about her feelings until she discovers Griff’s true task. I held my breath, maybe even screamed a little but I couldn’t put it down until the end.
What a rush! This book was non stop with twists and turns and heart stopping action balanced out with some high heat loving moments! A must read!
Code Name: Hacker was the first book that I have read in this series by Sawyer Bennett. It was a great book that can be read as a stand alone or as a part of the series. Bebe and Griff’s story was a fast paced story full of intrigue and passion. They give their all both in the workplace and in their personal lives. This book has a little bit of everything surprises, laughter, tears, suspense and joy. This is a great book to help you escape from the home quarantine we are all under. I liked this book so much that I purchased the others in this series. I can’t wait to read them all.
his is the fourth book in the Jameson Force Security series, and the story of Griffin, and Bebe. Fresh out of prison, and starting to get her life on track, Bebe meets someone who makes her feel again, but when Griffins true intentions are know Bebe may not have a life left to repair. This was a great read, emotional, intense, dramatic, suspenseful, and steamy!
Loved, loved, loved!! Every time I read a new release in this series it’s immediately my favorite. Hacker is no exception! Once I started reading Bebe and Griff’s story there was no putting it down. It’s full of suspense, action, romance, and of course steamy fun. This book is well written with great characters, a nice fast pace to the story, and an HEA that will leave you smiling. Definitely a recommended read.
Finally getting Bebe’s story and it’s so worth the wait! After making some bad choices and paying for them, Bebe gets a second chance at life through Jameson Force Security and is determined to not take any of it for granted. A chance meeting at the park with her son introduces her to Griffin and sparks and chemistry instantly fly. Deciding to give things a chance, Bebe starts to date Griffin and things progress fairly quickly. Unbeknownst to Bebe, Griffin was hired by the person who put Bebe in her bad choices and has put a hit on her. Realizing something was different and fishy with the hit, Griffin decides to do some investigating and realizes things aren’t as they seem, and knowing he’s in over his head blows his cover and goes to Bebe’s boss to figure out a way to fix everything. Feeling betrayed, Bebe can’t deny her feelings and is determined to make sense of things after she takes care of her enemy once and for all. Working together, the pair put together a plan to bring him down while they work through and recognize the feelings they have for each other. In the end, it’s an explosive book with some crazy twists that make the book that much better! I loved the dynamic between Bebe and the rest of the team, and I can’t wait to see who’s book comes next!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I love this series. Sawyer Bennett has created some memorable characters and she weaves them into to wonderful love stories that have elements of suspense, intrigue and danger. And those steamy love scenes? Incredibly hot! Absolutely fabulous entertainment.
Bebe Grimshaw, hacker extraordinaire, is finally finding her footing after years of strife. She has her son, her mom and the best job. What more does a girl need? A man, of course. At least that’s what her best friend, Dozer says. Enter one Griffin Stoltz and darn if he doesn’t tick all her boxes: tall, built, long hair in a ponytail, beard and arms full of tats. Plus he seems like a really good guy. Sparks fly between them. When her past rears its ugly head, Griff is there for her along with the rest of the Jameson crew.
Bebe Grimshaw attended MIT through her sophomore year before becoming pregnant. Needing money to take care of her son and disabled mother, Bebe makes bad decisions and gets mixed up with the Russian mob. Bebe wanted out, but was shown she could never leave as she knew too much. So she decided to take the fall for “stealing” nuclear codes to ensure her son’s safety. Bebe is later approached by Kynan McGrath, head of Jameson Security Forces. Kynan is able to pull some strings and get Bebe released early from a maximum security women’s prison after only serving seven years of her prison sentence, provided she come to work for him. Bebe thinks all is well and her past is behind her until she meets Griffin.
Griffin Moore is not whom he appears to be. Stalker/hitman for the mob or undercover FBI? Griffin inserts himself into Bebe and Aaron’s life. He tosses the football with Aaron, gives him tips, and even takes them to a Steeler’s game. He pursues Bebe until she finally agrees to go on a date. But the more Griffin pursues Bebe, the more he realizes he cares for her and her family. He needs to protect them. So he turns to Kynan and the rest of the Jameson men to put a plan into motion that will hopefully convince the mob she’s dead. The best laid plans…
Best novel EVER! Wonderfully written, suspenseful, a real page turner. I have thoroughly enjoyed every novel written in this series, each for a different reason. Although they are connected, each novel can be read as a stand-alone. Hacker is full of twists and turns, sweet, touching moments. I loved, loved, loved that Bebe was such a strong character. She wasn’t a whiner and she stood up for her beliefs. I loved how Griff supported her, but also protected her and her family. A true Alpha male. Sooo good! But the very last line…OMG! I highly recommend this novel! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
5 Stars
Code Name: Hacker is the latest novel by Sawyer Bennett and it was so good! It is the fourth book in the Jameson Force Security series and it can be read as a stand-alone. ( I also recommend reading the others in the series as well.)This book was, by far, my favorite in this series. I couldn’t wait for Bebe’s story and let me just say Ms. Bennett brings her a-game. Full of twists and turns I never saw coming, Code Name: Hacker is one story you do not want to miss!
Bebe was such an awesome character-I seriously loved her. She is so strong and resilient which made me love her so much more. After spending seven years in prison, she owes Kynan everything for getting her released early. Now working for Jameson, she finally has a pretty good life with her son. Little did she know that her life was about to explode once again…
Griff was the perfect alpha hero with a soft gooey center. He has a specific job to do but he is so torn. How can he complete his mission when he’s fallen for the target…
Together, Bebe and Griff’s chemistry was off the charts hot. I honestly couldn’t put this book down for anything. I highly recommend reading it!
WOW!!! My first Sawyer Bennett book and I could not ask for a better way to start! I can’t wait to read this series from the beginning! A definite 5 stars from me! <3
I have read all of the Jameson Force Security books and by far this was my favorite. For me the other books in the series seem to overwhelm you with information that is not important to the story at hand but maybe for future books. I feel like some times the story gets lost with all of the details. In this book you aren’t given all that extra information and you can just focus on the story itself. My only complaint is that the first fourth of the book the is a lot of repeating of the same line or same line of thought. It doesn’t feel like it was done as a reminder of the story line but maybe more as a filler.
Bebe has made many decisions that she has regretted but has always done them for the right reason, her son. He is her world. He is all that she lives for and he is what she will die for. Some of her decisions lead her to be absent in her son’s life for several years. Years she cannot get back with him. Years she desperately missed him and thought of how she would make it right if she ever got the chance to. Because of the Jameson Force Security she is able to have that chance.
Someone from Bebe’s past life wants her dead. Griff is sent to take care of the task but as he stalks her he sees the woman she has become. A woman that stirs something in him. A woman he wants to get to know better. Well it isn’t just Bebe he wants to get to know but also her son. Griff has to try to figure out how he can do his job or seem to and yet save Bebe’s life in the process. Now he just has to figure out how to do that.
I’ve been waiting for Bebe’s story since Kynan started the Jameson Force Security firm in Las Vegas. She’s been intriguing since the start, so her backstory was vitally important to the development of the group. Bebe and Griffin did not disappoint! Sawyer Bennett did an awesome job developing Bebe’s relationships with her son, her mom, and the other Jameson employees. Griffin was a nice treat! The twists and turns were managed well. Definitely recommend the series and this latest addition!
Bebe Grimshaw gets the opportunity of a life time, so she thinks, that will allow her to take care of her Mom and her son .. But when she gets into something so deep and her only way out is to got to JAIL to protect the only things in her life that mean anything to her . Aaron and Gloria , she does it and does not regret a thing except missing the first few years of Aaron’s life.
When she never thought in a million years that she would get a second chance on life, opportunity comes knocking again, this time it is in the form of The Jameson Force Security Group and Kynan gives her back her life .. BUT at what price ?? This is the opportunity of a life time and she will NOT screw this up !! While living in a small town in Pennsylvania she had it all .. Mom, Son, Home and Job. But when a tall, dark, sexy and handsome meets her in the park her world is turned upside down by this sexy man.
The sexy, handsome man happens to be Griffin Moore but Bebe won’t find that out because like Bebe he is hiding something, little does she know he is there for her but the one man she thought she was in prison, Anatoly Bogachev actually sent him .. but to do what ?? And will Griff even so it ??
The real thing going on here is for Bebe to be free .. free from the past .. free from the current .. just free to love !! Can Griff give that to her or will he end up dead by crossing Bogachev ??
Let me tell you the words in these pages are captivating while there is suspense and the unknown there is also meaning and gratitude !!
Griffin was made for a Brianna and Brianna was smart enough to know she is ALL that Griffin needs .. work be dammed !!
This is the 4th book in the series, and I was happy to get Bebe’s story. After spending time in prison, being away from her son she was happily released early, working hard and enjoying spending time with her son. She was taking her time, moving along at her own speed. Griff is so sweet even though he was sent to kill her. You can easily see how he feels for her which makes him torn between fulfilling his mission or not. I also loved her son.
I was so intrigued with this story, the suspense and drama is totally captivating. Griffin and Bebe each have there own secrets that they try to keep hidden from the other. Bebe is determined to keep her child safe while trying to stay under the radar, but Griffin is sent to kill her, only he finds the love of his life. All the characters in this story are interesting and makes you want to get to know their own story. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
