USA TODAY & AMAZON #1 BESTSELLING AUTHOR • ONE OF THE BEST NEW VOICES IN THE ACTION THRILLER GENRE • David Archer is back with a vengeance with his newest hero, Noah Wolf. After fans raved about his debut series, The Sam Prichard Novels, Archer now is about to back even harder. People are already throwing out names like Mitch Rapp and Alex Cross, but don’t take my word for it. See what all … See what all the fuss is about before Archer becomes a household name!
After witnessing the murder-suicide of his parents as a child, Noah suffers from a form of PTSD that has left him without emotion, without a conscience and without the ability to function as a normal human being. With the help of childhood friends, he learns to watch others around him and mimic their behaviors, in order to conceal the fact that his mind operates more like a computer that he has spent years programming. That program is what allows Noah to pass himself off as normal, by establishing parameters of right and wrong that are completely inviolable to him.
As a young adult, Noah finds structure in the U.S. Army, and becomes an excellent and exemplary soldier, but when his self-imposed programming is put to the test by the murderous acts of the superior officer, Noah finds himself quickly made expendable, charged with crimes he did not commit and facing the possibility of execution. Without any reasonable hope for a reprieve, Noah’s logic-based mind accepts his fate.
Sometimes, though, things are not all as they seem to be, and Noah is offered one chance to save himself. It was his disability, his lack of emotion, that made him the soldier he had become. Now, an ultrasecret organization known as E & E wants Noah’s talents, offering him a chance to survive…
As the most deadly assassin the world has ever known.

I liked it very much. A different kind of top secret government org with great characters and exciting missions.
Great story, couldnt put it down, had to go to the store and find more by this author
Very trite. Stock characters with all the depth of a comic book.
Great series starter. Having read all the Camelot Wolf series you won’t want to miss a single one to date.
This whole series is amazing! Well worth the read!
The first of the Noah Wolf series. Great
Noah Wolf has no emotions and thinks logically. When he is put on death row for shooting his company commander after a rape of civilians he is rescued and given the choice to live and work for them as a hired killer. He meets his team and they are sent on an assignment of great danger.
Great character. Loved the book, love the author
simple boring read
Very good and interesting read
Probably a good read for the right person, but for me, there is too much fantasy about “killing” and conspiracy and less who-done-it for it to fit into my preferred genre. ~
Started out grabbing my interest right away. By half way through, it slowed down. Never really picked up. It wasn’t a bad read, just not an exciting one.
The premise is a stretch but once you get by that, the action flows. There are some surprises and it is a fun read. Great read for summer. I sometimes wonder if Tony Dunbar and David Archer are the same author. Some of their books are at opposite ends of the Mississippi River but some of the characters seem as if they must be related. I enjoy both author’s work immensely.
Shallow, silly, I would read more.
Writing is almost at a grade school level. Characters are cardboard, shallow and inauthentic. Couldn’t even get half way through before I abandoned it.
Loved this series
A fast read. Very good.
Looking forward to reading rest of the series.
Can’t wait to read next book! Loved this book!
Interesting but somewhat unrealistic character
