A ranch on the auction block. Two bidders. Only one can win.Liberty Baker’s dream to raise horses and settle in the small town of Crossroads all comes down to an auction bid. Within heartbeats, her dreams crash and burn as Mr. Bulging Pockets steps in and swipes the ranch out from under her. The fact he’s a hunky bachelor—with an icy blue stare so direct she feels it in places no woman ever … places no woman ever should—only makes things worse when he proposes that she should become his ranch hand.
She has an idea of the kind of hand he needs, and washing his dishes and picking up his dirty socks isn’t her thing. Then she remembers why she wanted the ranch in the first place…it’s a safe haven after her bitter divorce.
With a bigger cattle herd and more land, Aidan Bellamy really could use Liberty’s help. Sharing a house is just a living arrangement, right? Convincing himself will be difficult when she parades around with her toned thighs peeking out of her nightshirt and he discovers her in his Jacuzzi more than once. A self-proclaimed bachelor isn’t blind to the fact that women Liberty’s age are lookin’ for a big man to take care of them, and while he might have invited her into this deal, nobody’s sinking her hooks into him.
At least until he learns of the threats against her. No matter how hard he tries to resist, the solution’s staring him in the face.
There’s only one answer left.
It’s marry her and save her from losing it all or let her burn.
Only one look from Liberty sets him aflame. And one touch from Aidan might start a wildfire of emotions neither want to face.

What better can you ask for Hot Cowboys & Happy Ending
I’m not a huge cowboy-country reader but I really enjoyed this book. The story is about Liberty and Aiden. Aiden is a rancher who has isolated himself and enjoys the quiet and being alone u til he meets Liberty. Aiden is gorgeous and all alpha but a sweet, loving heart. He is taken with Liberty immediately and his protective instincts were strong because he hated seeing her cry. Liberty is a very strong who had trouble asking for or relying or trusting anyone but she learned quickly that trusting someone you loved wasn’t a sign of weakness.

Another win for the Bellamys!
This is the first I’ve read in this series. I love the way Ms. Petrova can flesh out these wonderful, strong, funny women who are not easily fooled or persuaded by a good looking, sweet talking man. And the men are not just sweet talking hunks, but caring and thoughtful men that will do anything for their women. Plus the addition of a loving family that’s there for any kind of support needed.
Aiden and Liberty’s story is a sweet read, with some sexy romance for western romance lovers. Both Aiden and Liberty are bidding on the same ranch, but only one can win. Things take a turn for both of them when Aiden hires Liberty to work on his ranch as a hired hand. As these two work together, they become a bit more than boss and hired hand as their romance blossoms. Once opened, Em Petrova’s books are always hard to put down, and Aiden and Liberty’s story is no exception. **I was gifted “Cocky In A Cowboy Hat” via Booksprout and leave my review voluntarily based on my reading.** 4.5 Stars!
Liberty wants to buy a ranch and live her dream of raising horses on it. However at the auction she is out bidded for the ranch she wanted. When Aidan sees the pretty woman in tears it tugs at his heart and he follows her to find out what’s wrong. When he learns that she wanted the same property that he won he offers her another option. She can come help him as a hired hand. Liberty agrees and as they work together sparks fly between them. Soon its hard not to act on the attraction they feel for each other. When her ex steals from her Aidan comes to her rescue with another idea. Neither expected this idea to turn into anything long term but when real feeling get involved can they make it something more?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn’t put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. This is about Liberty trying to turn her life around after her divorce. She goes to Crossroads to purchase a ranch but in the end starts working for Aidan. It is a little unreal at times but easily followed along. Another great cowboy story.
A quite rancher and a strong woman meet when they bid on the same ranch. One wins, one looses or do they both win. This is a great read that is well written and will pull you in page after page. I love the connection between Liberty and Aiden, they have an amazing story that is fun to get lost in.

This is the third book in the Crossroads series by Em Petrova. This is a quick read and can be read as a stand alone. However, the characters in the previous books make appearances here too. I have loved Petrova’s book that I have read so far, and this one is no exception. I really enjoyed this book and its characters! I can’t wait until her next release in this series.

Liberty and Aiden meet after they both go to a silent auction for Windswept Ranch, one wins the other loses but do they really as Liberty gets the opportunity to learn what its like to run a ranch as well as learn about Aiden the ruff yet delicious man he is. There is plenty of attraction and tension between Liberty and Aiden and I loved seeing them fall further for each other while seeing how well they work together on the ranch, but the pain she carries from her previous marriage hurts your heart as much as hers. This is a thoroughly enjoyable read full of laughs, romance, sadness and a happy ending.

Liberty Banks is trying to buy a ranch to raise horses on when Aidan wins the bid. Liberty is upset and doesn’t know what she’ll do next Aidan offers her a job. She takes the job because she has no where else to go. Liberty’s ex has left her nothing . This book is fast paced, has great characters, and two people working together for something they both want with some drama thrown in
Cocky in a Cowboy Hat is the third book in the Crossroads series. Liberty is trying to gain back her soul after a bitter marriage and divorce by winning her own plot of land to raise horses. When Aidan wins the bid, he can’t help but offer Liberty a job to help ease the pain behind her eyes. They grow close working together, but when Liberty is threatened, Aidan jumps in to save her. But is their arrangement as fake as they think it is?
I really loved this book! Liberty and Aidan were so sweet together, building one another up, realizing what is truly important in their lives as well as in a relationship. I loved that they both could feel the pull to one another, but they both avoided it for different reasons. I loved that they had so much respect for each other, too, and then all of that lust and respect and friendship slowly shifted into feeling so much more for the other. Swoon! Liberty is kind of finding out who she is and searching for peace, so I loved that she found that with Aidan. For one cowboy that doesn’t like people much, I loved that he would give Liberty some independence to make her own mistakes or to let her find her own strength. He gave her space when needed, apologized when necessary, and loved with all of his heart. I think they made a great team! I loved that while this easily could be a stand alone, if you have read the previous books, you’ll find some familiar faces! I liked how the ending played out, too! All in all, it was a great read!
Aiden and Liberty meet at a silent auction for a ranch. Aiden ends up with the highest bid. Liberty is heartbroken because this was suppose to be a new start for her. She ends up working for Aiden and the sparks start to fly. I really enjoyed this book.
Their chemistry is so realistic, I am always half crying and half smiling at what the couple is experiencing. Em Petrova has a way of writing her stories that draw the reader deep into the depths.

This is the third book in the Crossroads series and can be read as a standalone story. No cliffhangers, no cheating.
Aiden and Liberty meet up at an auction and bid on the same ranch, Aiden breaks her heart by winning and he hates to see to see the beauty cry and offers for her to be a ranchhand. I loved the interaction between Aiden and Liberty, great chemistry that sizzles and I really loved how he helpes her gain her confidence back and push it through the roof. Wonderful story, great characters.
Newly divorced Liberty Baker has her dreams of raising horses riding on the outcome of her bidding on a ranch at auction. Instead the rancher next door, Aidan Bellamy, outbid her, trying to get back land his family used to own! She had no back up plan for losing. But Aidan saw how upset Liberty is, and he could use some help with this additional responsibility, so he unexpectedly offers her a job on the ranch. She is hesitant at first, but she needs the job and can work on the land, so she accepts.
The two characters were good for each other, Aidan giving her confidence and a chance to prove herself, and Liberty giving Aidan an opportunity to open up and be protective of her as they learn to trust each other. He also listened to her ideas and let her show her strength, rebuilding the self-esteem her ex had knocked out of her. It was a delight to watch both of them become better when they were together.
I enjoyed this story. The marriage plan felt a bit contrived, but at least they got to a good place. Grab your copy and see how the ex tries to continue ruining her life. There is lots going on here, so don’t miss out!
Liberty want a ranch, to satisfy her desire to raise horses. Aiden edges her out at a silent auction, then offers her a job as a ranch hand, to help him merge the new property with his adjacent existing ranch. As part of the deal, they’re sharing his house. And he’s a slob. But the last straw for both of them is when her ex-husband helps himself to half of her bank account. This is the third book in the Crossroads series, and it was so wonderful to read. I love that Liberty surprises Aiden with her ability to do whatever work he trains her for. She’s beautiful and hardworking, and he can’t get her out of his mind. The thing that I like best about him is that he is willing to listen to her ideas; she might not be a life-long rancher, but she makes some very real contributions to his ranch. And she can’t stop thinking about him, either. They have an attraction that’s off the charts, and the banter between them is hilarious much of the time. I’m looking forward to the next book!

A slow deep burn
Oh boy, the denied chemistry between Liberty and Aidan is steaming. And even once they give in to their chemistry, the spark between them burn even hotter. Em Petrova’s cowboys are always smoking, but in this book, the barn is on fire!
