Four guys. Constant moaning. And a revolving door across the college suite I somehow ended up in because my first name is Shawn. They don’t discriminate. Girls. Guys. Grandmas. Plants (okay maybe not plants) all walks of life stroll in stressed to the brim, and leave so satisfied I’m wondering what sort of talents lie behind that door. My roommate calls them the pleasure ponies. But the rest of … pleasure ponies.
But the rest of the college campus?
They just call them the new face of Wingmen Inc. A paid for relationship service that makes big promises.
Breakup? They’ll glue you back together again.
Depressed? They have the magic pill.
Lonely? Just spend a few minutes while they rub you down and you’ll forget all about it.
And broken hearts? Well, that’s their specialty. They’ll fix you.
For a price…
I swore I wouldn’t get involved.
But apparently they like a challenge, and a girl who doesn’t put up with their BS is basically like waving a red flag in front of a bull.
They. All. Charged.
But one holds my attention above the rest.
Knox Tate looks like a Viking — and getting pillaged is starting to look more appealing by the day. Though he’s hiding something — all of them are. And the closer I get. The more I realize that some things are left better in the past.
You’ve read reverse harem books before — but you’ve never read one like this. It’s not what you think, or is it? Dive in and find out…
Knox, Leo, Finn, and Slater are waiting, and they aren’t patient men.
Welcome to the new face of Wingmen Inc — You’re welcome.

Steamy is an understatement!!!
I love this strong female heroine!
Wingman Inc is my new obsession! I am in love! But I already knew I would be; RVD knows how to make you swoon!
Co-Ed is amazing! Fun and flirty college romance with 4 guys obsessed with 1 girl! <3
Rachael Van Dyken has a special brand of rom-com that always has me laughing out loud. Mix it with intense chemistry, and you’re left with all the feels!
RVD had me at that cover…and then at “reverse harem.” Yes, please!
Funny, sexy and so much more from beginning to end. Did I mention four guys and one girl? You don’t want to miss this one from Rachel Van Dyken.
It’s RVD…need I say more? One click!
You can’t go wrong with this wonderful romantic comedy!
Ahhh Rachel Van Dyken is the master at romance. She slayed this reverse harem college rom com!
If you know RVD’s books, then you KNOW she is a versatile author. This book is INSANE. Just insane. So highly recommended!
I absolutely love Rachel Van Dyken’s writing, and Co-Ed is a perfect example of why! So fun, a unique spin on reverse harem, and COLLEGE ROMANCE (my fave!). I highly recommend this brand new release from one of my favorites.
Um… hello, tag line. Hello, NA yumminess. I’m so here for it.
This all-new Wingmen Inc. romcom by RVD is an absolute must read!
Co-Ed is a fun read. But don’t let the wit of the book hide that it also deals with a few deeper issues. This was a book I couldn’t put down and I hope we see the other pleasure ponies in their own books!
Reverse Harem. Sounds risqué? Kinky? Maybe a bit out of your comfort zone? So you’re not sure if you can read Co-Ed… but… you’re tempted.
C’mon… it’s a story written by Rachel Van Dyken! Of course, you can read it! You really shouldn’t doubt her. Ever.
So, if you’ve followed my reviews on the blog even a little bit, you’ll know I’m a pretty die-hard Rachel fan. So even when the titles, or blurbs, or rumors about her books have made me nervous, I’ve taken a chance, jumped in… and never once regretted it. Suffice it to say, Co-Ed was pretty much the same for me. Actually… there was a lot more to the story than your average, everyday reverse harem, new adult romance.
Shawn transfers to the University of Washington in the middle of the semester and, due to a major snafu on the University’s part, ends up living in a suite with 4 guys. She’s feisty, mostly secure in her own skin, and takes no bull because she’s done with that.
Slater is her roommate who has a past with her other three suitemates, Leo, Finn, and Knox. Slater wants to protect her. Leo and Finn want to be her best friends. And Knox? Well… Knox just wants her. Period. But he’s not happy that she’s getting under his skin. There’s something they aren’t telling Shawn. In fact, they are doing the best they can to keep her in the dark. Will the past stay where it belongs, or is the past destined to repeat itself?
Rachel’s mind is a fascinating thing. She develops plots that tend to start out familiar, then she whacks you over the head with a complete surprise (you can practically hear her laughter over that at times). Especially in her mafia and paranormal romance books. Which is why they are still my favorite of all of the subgenres that she writes. But in Co-Ed, she manages to combine new adult romance with a twist of suspense that definitely follows along similar plot lines as her mafia and paranormal books. While most of the subject matter in Co-Ed is heavy with themes of discrimination, hate, and how rumors can tear anyone down, there is, as always, a bit of Rachel’s own brand of sarcasm and sarcastic humor scattered about to lighten the mood, even in the midst of the heavy. And bonus: Co-Ed brings us a small taste of what some of our favorite Wingmen are up to these days. (NOTE: Co-Ed IS a standalone book so you do NOT have to read any of the Wingmen books prior to reading Co-Ed!!!!!)
NICUnurse’s Rating: I give Co-Ed a solid 4.5 stars. The characters are rich and have characteristics you’ll love… then some you’ll love to hate. There’s heavy subject matter tempered with humor. And even when you want to hate them, of course, you fall in love with all of Shawn’s suitemates. But… the plot twist at the end was what stuck with me for a while, though. And how Shawn chooses to show grace and mercy in the wake of overwhelming hatred and evil is refreshing. So don’t let all the talk about Co-Ed being a reverse harem book scare you away. Really… I’m fairly conservative, and if I read this book and liked it, it is NOT what you’re thinking it will be.
I’m having a hard time trying to put into words just how good this book is and how much I loved it, you know a books good when you find yourself only only giggling but you find yourself smiling like a Cheshire Cat even though no one else is in the room, now to the review without giving to much away.
Shawn ends up sharing in a male dorm just because of how her name is spelt and that’s where she meets three guys who are the new faces of Wingman Inc, her first encounter is when she sees then escorting a spaced out girl from their room across the hall the next is in the shower and that’s where the nickname Shower Girl came from….. Wingman Inc is all about pleasing and helping others who need their services but what exactly are the services and how far are Knox, Finn and Leo prepared to go for their job.
Rachel has a way of covering some serious problems with out making light of them but still putting her own plend of humour into the story, I loved the characters in Co-Ed, the chemistry is sizzling hot, their friendship and loyalty shines throughout and the witty banter is perfect. Looking forward to more from the men of Wingman Inc.
Co-Ed (A Bro Code Stand-alone) was a great read by Rachel Van Dyken. Shawn is a female who ended up in a male college suite because of her name. In her sweet are four guys and her roommate calls the others pleasure ponies. They have a revolving door and don’t seem to discriminate the women that the host. The rest of the campus knows them as the new face of Wingmen Inc. Which is a paid for relationship service that makes pretty big promises. Shawn swore to herself and her roommate that she wouldn’t get involved. But they all charge to get her attention. Knox Tate is the man that holds her attention above the others. But they are all hiding something and no one will tell her about it. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.
Co-Ed is a standalone novel. It is also a Wingman, Inc. spinoff!! I was so excited when I found out since I loved the original series. Ian and Lex. Blake and Gaby. The movie. It’s unique, funny, sexy, and smart. This is another side of the business. One that needs more than one wingman at a time…
Shawn was warned to stay away. She was warned not to challenge them. It just would make them want her more. She should have listened but she couldn’t ignore the way they made her feel. They each had their own way of making her feel special. Protected. Adored. But it was the grumpy one that drove her crazy. She felt his gaze. She felt his heat. She felt the protectiveness. She also felt his coldness. With the others she didn’t. What happened to him that made him so hot and cold? Was it something she did? Was she just a game to him? A challenge to win? She didn’t transfer her junior year of college to be played with.
Leo was the sensitive one. Finn was the sexy one. Knox was the hot one. They were the ultimate team to give pleasure to anyone who needed it. They each had their talents. They also have their secrets. Will their past make Shawn question the trust they have built? The friendships they have made?
Rachel said it best. This book is not what you think, or is it? Four men care about one woman. They want her to relax. They want her to be careful. They want her to be happy. They want her to feel good. And if anyone can do it, it’s them. They were recruited and trained by the best. But can they just be friends with Shawn, the feisty suite-mate who challenges them to their core?
Overall…I love this book!!! We don’t only get one sexy, protective, sweet, and witty man but we get four! Each of them have a different kind of banter with Shawn. I love that! I fell for them all. I can’t wait to see who is up next to fall.
P.S. I Horny!
Quotes:
“He, he, he—”
“Oh hell, you’re already stuttering, and he probably just said, ‘Hi.’ Am I right?”
“Seriously come,” he pleaded.
“Bet you say that to all the girls,” I mumbled.
“But why?”
“Because you shouldn’t have to walk when you have three chivalrous gentlemen willing to give you a ride.” He winked.
“I bet you’ve been waiting all day to use that double entendre.”
“Two days.”
“Don’t fall for it. Stay far, far, far away. In fact, you should move. I mean it. The Pleasure Ponies are bad news.” “Please tell me that’s their real name!” “Nah, that’s my nickname for them. The real company name is under Wingmen, Inc.”
First book I’ve read by this author and if I’m honest it took me a while to get into it. Although it was marketed as four men bringing pleasure…sounds like a reverse harem, it’s not. Maybe I missed something but the main message I got was Shawn’s reason for coming to a new school. As the mother of a son who has a coloured girlfriend I was left gobsmacked and disappointed in humanity. Friends who are so close that they compliment each other whilst working. One walked away due to taking a stance against what they are doing and what they did. Sometimes things aren’t as they seem though and everyone should be given a voice.
