I am a sucker for mail order bride books. This series was great. Each book continued on from the one before, yet could be a stand alone. I loved how you found out more about the old characters in each while meeting new ones. Each was different enough to keep it interesting.
I would definitely recommend this collection to anyone who likes mail order bride stories.
I loved all these books. I thought I would only want to read one or two of the stories but I just kept reading and enjoying each one even more than the first ones. Such great stories and such a great part of history that I really didn’t know anything about.
At first I thought each book in the series would be too repetitive but was delighted to discover they weren’t just the same story with different names. Easy to read. Relaxing. Just what I needed at a stressful time. Nice escape.
Love the series!!!
This was a great series! The characters are interesting and there is mystery and action that will keep you turning pages. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the books
I like serial type books and this series followed a group of women as they became Mail-order brides in the same town.
Short; quick reads. Would have loved a little more story and character development. Would give 3.5 stars.
I love these books! I enjoy the stories without all are everyday violence and horrible news that is our life style. The books are well written and enjoyable characters. I’m on the second set and will probably order the next set of books. I gave it one star because I read these first and hope I can stir someone else to read them!!
These books were very interesting and good. I read thru them quickly with no regrets. I always have regrets when I believe the book reviews say it’s clean and they have no clue what clean is. An actual clean book, good stories about all the girls and men involved. You won’t be sorry.
These were great stories of how it was during the time period.
enjoyed the stories. Would recommend
