A sweet, emotional small town romance. Going back home is always hard, especially after a divorce and to care for a sick family member but as Claire crosses paths with Jayce, her high school sweetheart things start to turn around. A super sweet read about second chances. Loved it.
Jayce and Claire had known each other since they were children. When an elderly lady took Claire out of her fathers office for ice cream, her life was forever hanged. Her mother sheltered and controlled every aspect of her life from then on. Jayce had an eye opening experience because of that incident, he left town without telling Claire leaving her heartbroken and wondering why. Years later the truth will come out giving closure and redemption to a well deserving couple.
