When someone is murdered by a sniper with a military past, it sets off a nationwide manhunt for an elusive serial killer. FBI Special Agent Jack Randall finds himself appointed to track down and stop the shooter. Not by his superiors, but by the killer himself.
As more bodies fall, the vigilante takes his political messages to the press, earning the support of the public with his choice of … choice of targets and confounding the FBI at every turn. From the desert of Nevada to the urban jungle of New York City, Jack and his team follow the trail of bodies and haunting messages left behind by the vengeful killer. With Jack racing against time, the assassin’s crimes grow bolder, and his message more sinister and closer to home.
It becomes clear to Jack that, in order to find the shooter, he will have to look inside his own past and become the man he was years ago.

Very impressed with the story & writing.
Fast paced action novel, great characters expertly developed. Lots of plot twists. A great investment for your reading time.
really enjoyed this book. Look forward to reading more of the series.
I loved this book, it’s pace suited my reading style and the plot kept me focused. I’m not certain that I liked the direction the book took when it arrived in Washington but I carried on reading. A clever bit of misdirection by the author and the story goes on, spoiled by pages and pages of unnecessary padding about the death of a senator who …
Overall, great story with interesting characters and an impactful theme, but the action gets bogged down from time to time with unnecessarily detailed and lengthy descriptions.
I hardly could put it down!
Good read. I didn’t want to put it down.
Great book, hard to put down. The constant action whereby the “bad guys” soon become to “good guys” in the eyes of the public was outstanding and held interest as the completion of one event quickly melted into the beginning of another.
Outstanding characters both as individuals and how they blended into a very thourough and successful team. …
5 Stars!
Page turner ill be looking for more randall wood
Interesting take on a serial killer, because the killer is focused solely on taking out guilty people that manipulated their way through the judicial system, so they never faced consequences (one of the victims sounded quite a bit like OJ Simpson). As a result, he has a bit of a “fan club” of citizens who hope he is able to continue his mission. …
Very well written, and suspenseful
Awesome story.
Excellent read! Believable main and supporting characters.
